Pros: Because of the price and the looks of the exterior, I was prepared for this motel to be a "no tell motel" with prostitutes and drug deals going down in the parking lot. That wasn't the case at all! The rooms are very small, but clean. The bed was very comfortable, and not once did I feel unsafe. It's in an excellent location, right across from the Motor City Casino and a bus stop right on the corner if you're into public transportation. We were literally the only people staying there the night we were there, so there was plenty of parking. I plan on staying here again the next time we're seeing a show at Little Caesar's Arena or a football/baseball game downtown.

Cons: The language barrier at the front desk was a little frustrating. The man was mostly using hand gestures to tell me what he wanted me to do because I couldn't understand him, so be prepared for that. Also, the key to the rooms are actual old school keys and they require you to give them $5 cash as a "key deposit" to ensure that you return the key. The room itself had a strong perfume smell and it was so strong we had to open the window for a while to air it out a bit. The toilet paper was pretty sparse...we had one roll on the toilet paper holder that was mostly gone and an extra roll that was half-used. We only stayed one night so it wasn't a problem, but I still felt the need to conserve as I wasn't looking forward to trying to explain to the front desk that I needed more toilet paper with the language barrier being as bad as it was upon check-in.

6.0 Good
Pros: Location to what I was doing in town and right of the highway. employees were very cool.
Cons: I was in the lobby and someone started to talk about hurting people who talk. Not sure if he was a guest. It could have been clean better. I do not think I will be back, but price was right.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Room appearance was ok. Could have been cleaner.
Cons: Too many unsavory characters going in and out. Very noisy and felt unsafe. Plus staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Phone did not work. Unable to get fresh towels because desk clerk said she was only one there and too busy to get them.
6.0 Good
Pros: Front desk clerk and shuttle driver were so helpful and nice!! Room had a decent sized mini fridge with a good sized, well functioning freezer which was a nice surprise
Cons: Was not the nicest, cleanest place it town but for the price it was everything and more than we expected
1.0 Poor
Pros: NOTHING! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. We actually left at 1:00 am because it was impossible to sleep there. Absolutely filthy and disgusting.
Cons: The hotel was filthy, stinky, and disgusting. They couldn't even provide us with enough towels for our entire party. It was so bad that we could not sleep there. We left at 1:00 am and drove home.
6.0 Good
Pros: the staff are very nice. there was a mix up with my room instead of getting a room with double beds i got a room with a double bed. however, we were moved quickly ( next day) to a room with 2 beds.
Cons: house keeping was not done on a daily basis. the tv had few channels. and to be honest the clientele of the hotel liked a little shady.
1.0 Poor
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: The hotel was horrible black mold everywhere, tile falling apart. Sheets and towels stained. Worse experience of my life. I also recieved multiple bug bites during my stay at this horrid motel
7.0 Good
Pros: I was attending a program at the Renaissance Center and Rivertown Inn was about 2 blocks walk so I didn't have to pay for parking. Location was the best thing, other facilities and room were adequate, especially for the price compared to the Marriott.
Cons: The coffee maker needed a little tweaking to make it work. The room lighting could have been better, especially the light switch by the door which turned on only a dim light across the room.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location was central, convenient and a quick drive to the Windsor tunnel. The front desk associates were friendly and glad to help us when we needed to switch rooms. The little diner attached to the motel was delicious and we enjoyed having breakfast there.
Cons: Our sink vanity was separated from the wall and the bathroom just wasn’t clean. One of the two beds sagged so low that it touched the floor when it was laid upon. We had to request a new room due to safety concerns when we noticed that our door didn’t lock and anyone could get into our room.

Pros: Location. Price. Availability.
Cons: Was filthy
