I rented a car online. I took a Lyft to the pick up. When I got there, the agent said there were NO CARS at that spot. They did not expect any cars for rent for several days! I called the national Dollar rental to complain. They wanted me to go an hour away to the nearest airport to get a different rental car. At this point, I was beyond irritated. And a Lyft that far would have cost so much!!! I told them I wanted my $20 Lyft to and from my home reimbursed (since I would not have taken a Lyft if I knew no car was available). With all cars having trackers these days, there is no excuse for allowing people to rent a car from a location that has NO CARS available for rent!!! Do not rent from Dollar. I have yet to receive any reimbursements from them for my Lyft.Reviewed 23 Jun 2026

came 1h aerlier and they counter guy tried to scam us into getting upgrade for extra money then he would give us car. otherwise wait exactly 1h. our car was already on the parking not in busy season. every other place really never was so cheap to not give a car 1h earlier - we are not paying by hours we paying for full days. absolutely terrible attituteReviewed 12 Jun 2026

I was very disappointed with the customer service I received at this car rental location. The desk attendant was rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. When handing over the rental keys, he practically threw them onto the counter rather than providing them courteously. Throughout the transaction, the employee repeatedly made groaning and irritated noises, making us feel like we were inconveniencing him. He also applied excessive pressure to purchase the additional insurance coverage. Even after we clearly declined, they continued with comments such as, “This is your last chance to get it,” “Are you really not going to get it?” and “Did you even read over it?” The most inappropriate comment was, “Don’t come back crying if something happens to the car. It’s going to cost you even more.” This felt more like a scare tactic than customer service. I understand employees are required to offer optional products, but there is a difference between informing customers and pressuring them. The entire interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope management addresses these issues and provides additional customer service training. When we finally picked up the car it was so dirty from the outside. Bugs everywhere. We couldn’t even see clearly out the windows. The mirrors were dirty as well. We could have gone and said something but we did not want to deal with the desk attendant again and there was no one at the car lot to be seen so we could have mentioned something. Quick and easy to rent. No one did a walk around inspection of the car. It was parked in a garage with poor lighting, so you couldn't see any scratches or minor damage. When dropping off the car. No one checked for damage.Reviewed 30 May 2026
