I dropped off my vehicle at 5:15am at LAX rental center. There was one employee a couple of cars ahead of me She said I can go if there was no damage. I accidentally left the keys in my pocket. I realized this at the airport and gave them to the dollar shuttle driver to get them back. At the airport I saw that they charged me $500 for the keys. No tried to contact me and obviously I had the keys. I was still at the rental center when my car was checked in. I tried multiple times to call the rental office at LAX. The phone rings three times then hangs up. I wrote a complaint to them. Two days later and the charge is still on my credit card. The fact that it is impossible to speak to anyone is so infuriating.Reviewed 22 May 2026

The express pick up process was confusing and could have been much more smooth. I’ve done the express pick up on an app before and it was easy and clear. But with Dollar at Logan, the app didn’t provide clear instructions on where to go so I ended up standing in a short line. Overall it was a fairly quick but I paid the extra money to skip the counter, which was definitely not worth the extra cost.Reviewed 13 May 2026

15 customers waited 1 1/2 hours for a car! It was unbelievable. People were furious! Many had meetings and events that they were going to be late for. It is a small poorly run airport and the rental system is pitiful. It would have been better to uber to a rental place away from the airport.Reviewed 4 May 2026
