Hotel Marques de Riscal a Luxury Collection Hotel Elciego is a luxury resort created by Frank Gehry with design, art, gastronomy, wine, and lush landscape. He created the 21st century château, an icon for one of the oldest wineries in the Rioja region, connecting historic legacy with modern art and wine. The hotel is a composition of rectilinear prisms floating above the ground by three super columns, rising nine meters above the ground, and crosses the underground wine store of Marqués de Riscal. The building is wrapped in cascades of colored titanium, the mesh of the wine bottle of Marqués de Riscal, and the capsule of the bottle. The interior has tilted walls, zigzag windows, and cathedral-height ceilings. Guests can learn more about wine-making and tour Europe’s largest wine museum.

Hotel Marques accommodations include 43 rooms and suites, including premium and deluxe rooms, along with executive suites within its Spa Wing and Gehry Building, offering views of mountains, vineyard, and winery. The Spa wing is connected to the Gehry building by a unique glass bridge.
