I had a reservation for 2pm, got to the place via Uber and was told the car had a check engine light and is at the shop currently and they think it might be repaired at 4pm or so. Their office closes at 5:30pm, I needed to go to JFK airport at a certain time and fortunately I gave myself enough time to go over to another rental car place where they actually have cars to rent.
