Pros: We wanted to stay one day in Frankfurt to see the museums, and this is a good place to stay for that purpose. The rooms are modern and well equipped. The breakfast is great. The hotel is also relatively inexpensive. The location - across the square from the railway station - makes planning of travel easy.
Cons: The area by the railway station is not the most pleasant in the city. Plenty of beggars around, and not very clean. We felt safe, though.

Completely renovated since the beginning of 2018, the hotel is centrally located by the main station and has 8 meeting rooms and 106 fully air-conditioned rooms. From here you can easily reach many important points in the city on foot, such as Messe Frankfurt, the banking district, Zeil shopping promenade, Imperial Cathedral, Alte Oper and the riverside museums.

Pros: The staff was nice and so was the decoration.rooms are ok equipped.
Cons: Very very loud live and background music at the bar which is actually functioning as the hotel lobby, and place for a light meal at night. No way to escape it even after 23.00. Our room was overlooking a building site which start making a lot of noise at 08.00 in the morning, no body told us about it, and it was very disturbing. If we knew we wouldn’t have taken the room, as we arrived late evening we couldn’t know about it.

Cons: Area surrounding the hotel is so bad. Public urination is a normal thing, drug use is almost at the door to the hotel. This is the RED LIGHT district. I wasn't aware of that and there should be a remark somewhere that shows that. Homeless people were everywhere. I DO NOT recommend this area to anyone.

Pros: Other than being in the red light district (with a bunch of drug addicts on the streets), the hostel is in an great location. It is easy to find from the train station, and it is easy to walk everywhere that was needed (or to the metro to go further afield). Their breakfast was also fantastic! Available until noon, and all you can eat, I regularly spent my mornings relaxing and enjoying the common area. My private room was very comfortable. Security is good.
Cons: As I mentioned, it is in an area that is full of drug addicts, however, as it is close to the main train station, most of the other hostels are also in this area, and they secure the doors.

Pros: We took the ICE train from Munich. The hotel is very convenient to everything, it's only 3 blocks from the Franfurt Main HBF which all 5 of us just leisurely pushed our luggages passing thru a lot of coffee shops, souvenir shops, pastry shops, etc. We couldn't ask for anything more. It's very convenient to us that's why we didn't even bother to include breakfast in our booking.We're very happy we booked in this hotel.
Cons: The place is tight even the reception is small. To check to the room is quite challenging, you have to pass thru a narrow passageway, 3 or 4 steps of stairs before you find the elevator at the back around the restaurant. Even the hallway in the 4th floor is narrow but the rooms are substantial.

Cons: Die Dame die uns eincheckte war nicht freundlich. Wir wurden erst einige Zeit ignoriert bis sich eine von drei rezeptionistinen die mühe machte aufzublicken. Uns wurde gesagt das die zimmer nebeneinander seien, waren sie aber nicht. Das zimmer war sehr staubig und in den gläsern waren kalkablagerungen. Ich würde hier nicht mehr übernachten. Es ist definitiv kein 4 sterne Hotel! Das WLAN ist viel zu langsam, so macht es keinen sinn.

Pros: The location was very good--close to the public transport and many good & exotic restaurants. It's also very central, so it's close to many important buildings in the city and tourist sites. The room (inc. bathroom) was clean and spacious, and exactly as advertised. There's even an elevator so you don't have to carry your heavy luggage up the stairs. We'd be happy to stay here again.
Cons: It was a particularly hot spring week and there wasn't air-conditioning in the room, so it was quite warm. Thank God there was a fan, so it was bearable. It's a little noisy as we had a street-facing room, but it wasn't too bad as we're used to living in big cities. The windows are good and does filter out quite a lot of noise. We both slept well.

Pros: Nothing. We were moved to another hotel when they couldn't fulfill our reservation, which was made months prior to our stay.
Cons: Our reservation was not honored. Members of our group who arrived earlier were given 2 rooms when the Memphis Hotel didn't have any double rooms. We walked our bags about a mile to another hotel. I would NEVER, EVER recommend this place to anyone. Be forewarned..... a "reservation" doesn't mean a darn thing to Memphis Hotel.

Pros: I chose this hotel because of its location. We were hoping to see fireworks near the river for New Years and it was close and relatively inexpensive. The location was perfect and the price was fine, but had I not been exhausted I might not have been able to sleep.
Cons: The walls were paper thin, so we could hear every neighbor ... ever. There was no water pressure in the shower. There was no clock in the room. There were two skinny sets of sheets instead of one to cover the whole bed.

Cons: This "motel" is located in the red light district. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE. No Children!!!. The entire place smelled like the Korean restaurant downstairs. My entire room smelled like Kim Chi which to me, smells like burning garbage. I had to keep the window open the entire time just so I don't throw up. The room was a low end motel room. The TV was more like a computer monitor and only a few channels. If you need to use the iron for your clothes make sure you have 5 euros on you. Its the deposit. They must have a lot of guests steal the irons out of sheer anger. I couldn't figure it out.
