Pros: An excellent hotel with a very helpful and professional staff. The location was perfect for easily getting to some of Frankfurt's major sights which was helpful given our short stay. We enjoyed the first floor bar for wine and dinner.
Cons: We have no complaints. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our every request.

Pros: I love the location, it is actually walk-able within the shopping zone, downtown and the Old Opera House. The Hotel itself is directly in front of one station. We walk through the westend neighborhood and it has a lot of small gem to be discovered. The room is the best part. We have had a great night there and I am sure that we will come back again!

Cons: I love everything. Just only one small glitch is the check in time, we have to wait for about 10 minutes or a little longer than we expect because the room is not ready yet. But it was not a long wait and the staff are friendly. Overall I can not, at all, find any fault throughout out stay.

Cons: The room made an impression that it had been used a lot (the bath, the floor), the bed was a bit too high for me, a bit too cold and a little bit loud (air conditioning - ventilation). And I had one spider net in the bathroom.

Cons: Very very loud live and background music at the bar which is actually functioning as the hotel lobby, and place for a light meal at night. No way to escape it even after 23.00. Our room was overlooking a building site which start making a lot of noise at 08.00 in the morning, no body told us about it, and it was very disturbing. If we knew we wouldn’t have taken the room, as we arrived late evening we couldn’t know about it.

Cons: I called to ask the price for a dog and they told me 15€ for a small and 25€ for a big dog before our arrival. At the end of the stay I needed to pay 25€/night for small one. The receptionist couldn’t change anything... at least if your a real hospitality women you can change everything to satisfy your customers! I just payed. 2nd night there was a party at the bar and we had a lot of noise on the 2nd floor... till 02:00.

Cons: The staff kept hounding me for my "voucher." I explained that I booked through Kayak and there was no voucher. I showed them my receipt, emailed them the receipt twice and printed the receipt out and gave it to Laura on the second night of the stay. Then, when I check out, they ask me for the voucher again! I get back to the U.S. and get an email from them...wanting the voucher. I expect that they'll charge me twice for the room and I'll have to do a charge back through my credit card. The beds are not fit for human consumption. P.S. a "double" room does not mean two beds - it means that you get a room that does not have the toilet and shower completely open!? They charged us 40 euro/night for a roll-away.

Cons: Is the exhibitions area, for the exhibition people should be ok but for a tourist is not much to visit. They had a fire alarm during my staying , i had to go out but and because the elevators didn't work i got lost and landed in the kitchen. It was a real adventure to find my way out.

Cons: After some confusion and being sent to a room that was not the suite I requested, I was comfortable in my suite w/ a view of the city skyline. The young staff could use more fine tuning so they anticipate needs, in addition to resolving issues that are presented to them. The staff was unable to make dining recommendations, assist w/ directions, and otherwise be helpful. "I'm not sure" and "I don't know" doesn't really cut it. Another curiosity is, what is the deal w/ the closed elevators? The hotel feels and appears to still be a work in progress.

Pros: Other than being in the red light district (with a bunch of drug addicts on the streets), the hostel is in an great location. It is easy to find from the train station, and it is easy to walk everywhere that was needed (or to the metro to go further afield). Their breakfast was also fantastic! Available until noon, and all you can eat, I regularly spent my mornings relaxing and enjoying the common area. My private room was very comfortable. Security is good.

Cons: The location of the hostel was in one of the most destitute areas I’ve seen in Germany: full of crack-heads, brothels, and countless transient men prowling around. Completely caught me off guard as I was searching for the entrance. The linens used on the blanket are absolutely of the lowest quality, stiff as a board. There was limited kitchenware and no forks available in the cooking area. Which takes me to thing that kind of shocked me the most: the large storage lockers available for rent (all downstairs in the cooking area) are old dog cages??? Looked absolutely unprofessional and I cannot believe the hostel manager is ok with such a presentation..

Cons: It is the red light district so it’s kind of expected, but just a bit more full on than expected..The drugs & shady dealers were everywhere, sloppy Heroin addicts everywhere, even pissing on scooters & front window of the hostel during the night. A man smoking a crack pipe at the front door of the hostel.. I didn’t mind it that much but made my partner feel very comfortable.. she didnt want to smoke out the front due to people asking for money, cigarettes or to buy drugs or just harassing her in general. Like I said, it didn’t really bother me & there’s not much the hostel can really do about it.. just maybe for solo female travellers - find a bit of a nicer area. If you’re not fussed, great hostel for a short stay

The hotel is very convenient to everything, it's only 3 blocks from the Franfurt Main HBF which all 5 of us just leisurely pushed our luggages passing thru a lot of coffee shops, souvenir shops, pastry shops, etc. We couldn't ask for anything more. Cons: The place is tight even the reception is small. To check to the room is quite challenging, you have to pass thru a narrow passageway, 3 or 4 steps of stairs before you find the elevator at the back around the restaurant. Even the hallway in the 4th floor is narrow but the rooms are substantial.

The area this hotel is in seems very sketchy (it's the red light district) though I knew that going in.

Pros: Staff is very nice, breakfast excellent, beds comfortable, and free minibar is a nice extra. Conveniently located near the train station.
Cons: It's a little surprising that this is a 4-star hotel. The room was quite small and the general atmosphere/ decor nothing special. A couple of large cockroaches went running through the bathroom.

Pros: I chose this hotel because of its location. We were hoping to see fireworks near the river for New Years and it was close and relatively inexpensive. The location was perfect and the price was fine, but had I not been exhausted I might not have been able to sleep.
Cons: The walls were paper thin, so we could hear every neighbor ... ever. There was no water pressure in the shower. There was no clock in the room. There were two skinny sets of sheets instead of one to cover the whole bed.

Pros: Very close to the train station. When you walk out the front of the train station, look right, and you can see the place. Our room was very spacious. The hotel overall was very nice inside, quite a bit nicer than we expected for the price. Breakfast was a fairly typical German hotel breakfast buffet (good assortment to satisfy almost anyone), and we found it to be a good value on some mornings. Less expensive (and good!) breakfasts can be had nearby, but if you're looking for convenience before boarding a train in the morning, the hotel breakfast is likely an excellent value. There surprisingly little outside noise (we slept with the windows open most nights). There is some light that can shine in at night, but the room had nice, heavy curtains and we were able to make it pretty dark (we're amateur astronomers and really like sleeping in DARK rooms, and were satisfied). The room had hardwood floors in the sleeping area and a tiled front entrance and bathroom. The tiles were modern, and the wood flooring was actual wood. In the end, we can find no good reason not to stay here again. All of the staff were *very* friendly and courteous.

Cons: The free wifi was completely useless. It had no password protection, and simply didnt work at all. If you are counting on having a useable wifi connection, then skip this hotel entirely. Also the place looks shabby, its not being well maintained. The staff were detached and a bit burned out. Skip this hotel, its depressing. The site around it is also really depressing too.

Cons: In the room is a water-bottle with the sign "for your refreshment" and no price tag. On checkout the receptionist asked if I drank the bottle. After saying yes he asked for 4€. As there was no price tag I refused and asked for a reason. The receptionist ran around the counter and aggressively demanded the money and threatened me with beatings. I left the hotel. Do not stay here

Cons: The room lacked a safe and mini-fridge, if you expect or need that kind of thing. The "bed" was two twin beds pushed as close together as possible (completely separate sheets/bedding), but this seems to be pretty common within europe, in our experience. This part of Frankfurt is a little sketchy (it *is* right next to a big train station), but we didn't feel unsafe. We've certainly been in more dangerous parts of cities. Be alert, and take the usual precautions that you would in a big city, and you should be fine. Be prepared to see homeless people begging for money; they seemed mostly harmless. The bathroom was always clean, but probably could have used a deep scrubbing (there was some mild staining in some of the tile grout).

Yes downstairs there’s the hell loose of the craziest junkies I have ever witnessed in my life but they are completely harmless . The hotel is super safe . I had to work indoor most of the time and honestly I wouldn’t have found a better place . Thank you guys , I will most definitely be back

I think also that the hotel need renovation... the walls are a bit dirty, even that the staff is cleaning good ... I was changing the room because I had a problem in the first one, than I had also in the second one but they fixed it ...

Cons: That's difficulty to discribe what I didn't like for that price. The only thing that isn't nice is the neighborhood of the hotel because there a lot of homeless people or drug addicts around. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children.

Cons: The location is disgusting, pure and simple. Right outside the front door there was over 100 drug addicts and homeless people all high, hanging around, fighting etc. It is a very dangerous location, with staff advising guests to get taxis to and from the hotel, and not to walk. The room itself was also very disappointing. No WiFi - except if you sat on the toilet in the bathroom. There was also a huge amount of MOULD in the corner of the room (see pic). The rest of the room was also well worn and not well kept. The hotel also did not have my booking on the system when we arrived and couldn’t find it. The staff seemed nice but couldn’t really off any help at all and didn’t seem interested in doing so. I would never stay here again, and neither should anyone else. This hotel should be closed.
