Did not take the car as they have loads of hidden fees (£2000 deposit). Check online reviews before booking as there are many complaints about this company scamming people through hidden and fraudulent charges.Reviewed 29 Sept 2024

We did not get a van, which was requested/booked. They gave us a "7 seater" Luxury SUV that had barely enough space for our luggage. We needed a van for a wheelchair. They offered us a van for an extra £1000, for the 4 day rental. Felt like I was being ripped off. The 2 other separate customers next to me were having the same trouble. The car we were given should not be on the road. The front trye had a deep slash which unfortunately wasn't noted at pick up but came apparent when the tyre light started to come on. When we started driving the car any distance the 'Engine failure' & 'STOP' lights started coming on. A number of other hazard/warning lights also came up intermittently. The car also began vibrating/shuddering. We did contact green motion and did arrange to see a mechanic unfortunately the mechanic never arrived at the garage. we were in a very small town and 3hr away from the green motion drop off. All these issued caused unnecessary stress and made it impossible for us to complete our trip properly. Missing out in a number of key sights/places we had planned to see/do. We managed to get the car back to the drop off location but this wasn't a pleasant drive. We dropped off 2 days early and request a FULL refund.Reviewed 8 Sept 2024

The harassment you receive on check in is exhausting. They don't accept the additional insurance you buy online, they charge you £1500 as a hold, and then threaten that you'll be liable for all £40,000 that the car is valued for if you don't show a million dollar insurance through your credit card or take on another £200+ in fees. I ended up cancelling my order as I booked a van ,and checked with you that it would not be a car. You assured me it would be Evan, but Green motion still insisted I would receive a car as they hadn't had confirmed from you. Very poor service from green motionReviewed 3 Sept 2024
