Pros (+) A beautiful old house,we stayed in the main building.Very friendly staff, very helpful. Although there isn't a lift , we were offered help with our luggage. The room was clean and fresh, lovely décor and furnishings. Beautiful bathroom, lots of towels and fluffy robes. Little extras of fresh fruit and water, and a lovely bottle of wine, were appreciated. Very nice breakfast, lots of choice. Other ...
Cons (-) Whilst the bar kitchen food at Cooks was very good, friendly staff etc., we had to cross the carpark to get to it. After the elegance of The Grange, it would have been nice to have the opportunity of a little "fine dining".
