5.0 Okay
Pros: Room was nice and staff in restaurant were nice
Cons: The spa closed early, the restaurant was expensive
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Staff who i dealt with were friendly
Cons: No wifi. Complained five times. Could not do any work at hotel and that was the whole point of my business trip. Faceless managers had zero interest. Was told the staff at hotel can get on the wifi so therefore its working. Hotel was almost empty, if that was my business i would ensure my few remaining customers were kept happy. Well done, you have just lost two more.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and great facilities
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was nice and clean and staff was welcoming
Cons: The food was shockingly poor
5.0 Okay
Cons: I should obviously pay more attention to the details. We stayed here overnight for a family function nearby. The hotel is geared totally to being a spa hotel and I was expecting more to its position and efficiency and ambience. The restaurant was fully booked for the evening when we arrived late afternoon and we had therefore to go to an Italian restaurant on site, although a decent walk away especially as it was raining. The food was mediocre and although the staff pleasant they really did not appear to have too much training in hospitality. We did spend a little time in the bar but it was pretty basic. I am sure it is reasonably priced if you use all of the spa facilities which I was told by a guest were superb. It is certainly not if you don't.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Always friendly and welcoming staff - very good overall atmosphere and decor is very well coordinated.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very clean and very very friendly staff!
Cons: My room was next to the smokers garden and also above the bar.. VERY loud on a Saturday night and I was woken up at 1.30am and 3am by loud drunk men smoking outside next to my room when I had a 6am start and busy day the next day. The person in the room next to mine ended up shouting out the window at them to be quiet as she too had a 6am wake up. Ruined the stay for me as I was happy with everything else. Most hotel bars close around 12am, so I’m not sure why they were still outside and in the bar at 3am!!
7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely style and easy to find
Cons: Shower didn’t warm up and went stone cold while running, blood stains on the duvet.. under a cover but never the less visible as at the end of the duvet cover which was open. Staff were delightful and the food was excellent, just a shame about the shower and duvet..

Cons: -
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Quiet during my stay. Staff polite but business-like
Cons: Hotel generally - drab, in need of re-furb or at the very least deco (my company is currently refurbishing a hotel in Harrogate). Room - not duly dirty but carpets, curtains etc need a good clean. Bathroom has mould on ceiling & two walls. This is due mainly to poor ventilation, however, room cleaners should have this under control and they don't.

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Rooms need some makeover
6.4 Good
Pros: style of hotel.. homely.
Cons: check out 11.00, would pref 12.00, but not big issue.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nicely appointed room for the price. Quiet environment. Bed & pillows were supremely comfortable. Spotlessly clean too
Cons: Minor problem...the heated towel rail in the bathroom was not operating
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very enjoyable stay. The ladies at the reception are very kind and polite and always willing to help. The rooms are cosy, well furbished and very clean. Buffet dinner in the hotel is of a high standard and there is plenty of choice. Breakfast is of the same caliber as dinner.
Cons: It was the first time I used the gym at the CMDC, and as nice as all the staff have always been, the lady at the Gym reception is in dire need of a personality makeover. I felt seriously unwelcome. However this will not deter me from giving very positive feedback overall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was as good as always. Fantastic ladies at the reception and the rooms are clean and well furnished.
Cons: They dealt very well with the COVID-19 issue and the fact that many reservation had been cancelled. Dinner and breakfast were still top.
6.0 Good
Pros: location perfect while working at Cranfield
Cons: Hot breakfast poor (sausage inedible, bacon like leather) TV didn't work in morning that I checked out. Little phone coverage inside building, none in bedroom (Vodafone) Wifi not compatible with my device as require social media login to access (not allowed SM platforms on work laptop) Room rather cramped for a double

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a great location, overlooking the river and within walking distance of the town centre. It appears to have been recently renovated. The room was small (as advertised) but well fitted, with decent reading lights and an excellent welcome tray which included ground coffee, biscuits and a selection of teas. The shower room was immaculate with fluffy towels and good quality toiletries. The bar was busy and friendly. The dinner menu was interesting and the food good quality. Breakfast was served until after 11am and the staff even arranged for our son, who joined us for breakfast, to have it at residents' rates.
Cons: Other than an overcooked piece of venison for dinner, there was nothing to dislike. To be fair, the waitress immediately offered to replace it, but as it was tasty and tender, I didn't insist.

Pros: The parking and access to the hotel reception is good. The room was nice. Receptionist was nice.
Cons: Hotel advertises free wifi but this is not in the bedrooms. Apparently only works in restaurant per the receptionist when I rang up to complain. I had to remove battery from smoke alarm in my bedroom as alarm kept on beeping as battery was low. Walking to my room no:9 was precarious as it was dark and no lighting close to the room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location excellent as in small village, pub very nice with fire. Staff friendly and helpful, room is nice with plenty of space. The bar and restaurant area has a good atmosphere feel to it and the food was good with decent portions.
Cons: Pub is opposite the church and the bell sounds every quarter of an hour throughout the night and can be heard in the room. It’s very annoying. There is no WiFi in the room you can get it in the bar but it is very slow. The shower isn’t very powerful but it is fine.
