bathrooms were extremely disgusting, sometimes toilet paper missing.
The wall are paper thin, an abomination, I could hear every word spoken next door, let alone door slamming. Also it was mentioned nowhere that the rooms would have no windows. The way the seating area outside is not kept clean, doesn't make the hostel look very inviting either.
I stay here every time I come to Hong Kong. The Filipino staff always remember me.It’s easy on the bus. It’s near everything. This area used to be much dodgier, but you always need to be careful anyway around here. Great food options within the building. Great massages and cheap shopping just nearby.
The sitting area wasn’t so inviting this time. A few teabags with the kettle would be very welcoming.
The AC was not working and I asked them to change but they did not , and when I arrived there I found that this is really expensive, there are several other hostels are cheaper
AC is a joke, vibrates the whole room at 130 dezibels. So basically no AC unless you can sleep under a jet engine. Linens and towels are clean, but nothing else is. Clearly never gets actually cleaned. Bathrooms moldy, ancient dust everywhere that is not the immediate bed area. Oh, and if you're white (or non-Asian) enjoy getting aggressively propositioned every single time you enter the building for everything from hotel rooms to drugs to rides by the Indians in the entrance. Because the building is notorious for being a seedy den, as I found out after coming to HK unfortunately. Never happened anywhere else in HK, just this one place. So really, just avoid it. Yes it's cheap and in a good location (except for the building itself), but just don't do this to yourself. Find a place that has an actual AC.
Good location in Tsim Tsa Tsui, perfect for a short stay.
Located in Tsim Sha Tsui, this hostel is steps from Nathan Road Shopping District, Victoria Harbour, and Hong Kong Space Museum. K11 Shopping Mall and Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre are also within 5 minutes. Hong Kong East Tsim Sha Tsui Station is only a 2-minute walk and Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui Station is 3 minutes.
