Pros: Close to everything in Waikiki but not in the midst of the resorts
Cons: Dirty stain/spot on floor in bathroom next to tub was there every day even after cleaning. All else was nice.

Pros: It is a fantastic facility. I enjoyed my stay
Cons: Nothing I didn't like

Pros: Very clean & comfortable
Cons: Expensive
Okay5.1
Pros: The spa is awesome.
Cons: We spent 2 nights here, it doesn't worth the money. The hotel in Wakiki is generally expensive, but if you want a 4 star experience, choose hotels like Sheraton or Westin. Need to pay extra for wifi, parking, even water after first night. The room is quite small for a 4 star standard.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The hotel was amazing - the room was very clean and modern. The view was beautiful (we got 26th floor which helped). The free parking and one free breakfast was very valuable (depends on your package). I loved that we had free beach towels that we could take awAy and return daily.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Out of waikiki, room views
Excellent10.0
Pros: Whenever we asked for service, (maintenance, engineer, housekeeping), they came within 5 minutes.
Excellent9.4
Pros: The hotel was under renovation but the staff was so amazing. It totally made our stay. Will surely stay in the future.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Everyone on the staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and the view is amazing With the Renovation Discount it was about Half price maybe even less than half and absolutely an great value
Cons: Nothing
Excellent8.2
Pros: Staff accomadate late check out
Cons: Balcony
Excellent10.0
Pros: front desk staff, courteous professional bar staff, main lobby friendly helpful
Good6.8
Pros: The hotel is nice. The views are pretty. The staff were courteous and helpful. It's clean. The location downtown is close to most everything.
Cons: It's not on the beach, which isn't a deal breaker, but I wasn't feeling the "Hawaiian vibe". It just wasn't there. Everything closes super early, even the hotel bar and it's all sub par, nothing too fabulous. I guess the word I could use that would fit this hotel is generic. It's not holiday inn generic, but it's definitely not worth the price, the parking fees, or the resort fee. I didn't feel like I really fit in too well either. If you're a tourist to Hawaii and you'll barely spend time at the hotel, this is the one if you're willing to pay the price. I also didn't feel like I fit in here. If you're coming from Japan though, you'll fit right in.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Incredible technology in the room! The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The decor is nice and the amenity kit is great.
Cons: The room wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t spotless either. We had to request items that were supposed to be part of our welcome package. Our room was not serviced until late afternoon.

Pros: The food is excellent. While parts of the facility are outdated, it is well maintained and the attentive staff makes up for the slightly dated appearance. The beach is awesome.
Cons: The pool should be larger. The poolside menu could use some more pizazz and creativity.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff and growns are amazing
Cons: The dolidpin and turtle tanks, way to small for them to live
Excellent9.7
Pros: Kahala is located close enough to the city action yet far enough away where it's remote. Though the pool area was relatively small, it was never crowed. The dolphin lagoon and sea turtle exhibit was quite amazing. Beach was also gorgeous and calm. No complaints about the Kahala. Would definitely visit again.
Cons: Wish there was good snorkeling right around there but that's asking for too much!!
Excellent8.8
Pros: Private beach means it is never overcrowded. Friendly, professional staff. Dolphin Lagoon a must experience for kids. Big, comfortable room with comfortable bed, nice bath amenities. All toilets have a bidet, which is a nice surprise. Beautiful grounds and atmosphere.
Cons: Above average humidity for this time of year. We were told it was due to the El Nino from winter. Small pool (and number of chaise lounges) that can get crowded quickly. Food from the Seaside Grill and Plumeria is overpriced and okay, at best. Drinks overpriced, but tastes great.
Excellent10.0
The staff was so helpful, from the concierge to the front desk staff. We forgot to request a late checkout and had staff help us feel comfortable all day before leaving for a red eye late in the night. Food was great at all restaurants. The resort is about a 15-20 min ride from Waikiki. Spa services were amazing. Standard king room was spacious for the two of us. Had daily housekeeping without request. Toto bidets in each room. Everything was wonderful and we would love to come back!

Pros: The location and retention of the old architectural features in the lobby.
Cons: The rooms were average at best for a Westin. Everything was a bit dated.
Excellent10.0
Pros: I loved it all. Room was comfortable. Great location. Beautiful hotel.
Excellent8.0
Cons: The pool is very small, opens late and closes early. The beach umbrellas $50 a day and also close too early. One or the other should be open at least till sunset.
Good7.9
The hotel has a back courtyard style toward the oceanfront with many rooms facing an open dining and socializing area. Yet despite shutting down the dining and drinking options a sizeable group of people were permitted to boistrously carry on until 1 AM. This certainly disrupted the sleep of many besides my wife and myself as we were staying 3 floors above the area. The management of this high end resort can certainly do better.
Good7.1
Pros: Great location with great views. iPad in the the room was a cool touch
Cons: Considering the cost of getting a room at Moana Surf, I expected the room facilities could be upgraded (ie...shower and other parts of bathroom
Excellent10.0
Pros: From the moment I walked in the door, I fell in love with the old beach vibe. The understated luxury just oozed from the place. The staff was amazing and always attentive to our needs from dinner plans at check in, offering a hospitality suite after check out because we had a late flight. Truly amazing experience and 100% worth the price tag!
Excellent10.0
Pros: Every member of staff was outstanding! Great location.
Good7.4
Pros: Location was great and staff was friendly.
Cons: The rooms are a bit run down because of how old the hotel is. The lobby confuses you because the upkeep in the main areas are beautifully kept. Housekeeping does not do a thorough job. Stains and disgusting mildew in the toilets. Would not stay here again.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff were incredible and helped so much. Our flight was leaving late at night and they let us use a hospitality room to shower and get cleaned up before we left for the air port. The staff at the restaurants on property were fantastic, epically Omar at The Beach House. It's a quiet gem in crazy Waikiki.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent8.5
Pros: It’s beautiful with great location and super friendly staff
Excellent10.0
Pros: Everything was first class, from check in to check out. Very nice to have the complimentary Beach Club. It's a no hassle, take care of guest resort. Once inside and on beach, you do not know the hustle and bustle of Waikiki exists
Good7.9
Beautiful, iconic hotel with a long history in an excellent location. Stayed in the Tower Wing and the rooms were nothing extraordinary. The same level of quality can be found for less in the area. Personnel were great. Food was overpriced for average fare.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Pretty much Everything!
Cons: Pool and beach seating was very limited
Excellent8.8
Pros: Facility went out of its way to accommodate us.
Cons: House cleaning. Had to call 3 times to get sheets changed
Excellent10.0
The hotel location is on the beach, and directly in the middle of the Waikiki area of action. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful whenever approached. The only average part of the hotel was that my bed was on the verge of needing to be retired from service. I'm a little more sensitive to soft mattress as compared to the average person. My room had a view of both the beach and the city street so I can people watch from the room. I highly recommend this location if you come to Oahu for the complete experience that Oahu offers. You will have to pony up and pay at this hotel.
Okay5.7
Pros: The food was excellent The bed was very comfortable The room was very clean The front desk staff were on top of it
Cons: The room was over-priced for its size and location/view The hostess at the restaurant told us we had to wait 30 min for lunch sitting but didn't tell us we should have made a reservation so when we lined up at noon she told us we'd have to wait another 30 min Too much furniture in my hallway. Not elegant

Pros: Elegant surroundings, friendly staff, excellent location. We are glad we booked with the breakfast plan because the buffet with “Royal” options was awesome.
Cons: I’m a Starwood member and was told at checkin that I’d receive a 10% discount on restaurants, spa etc at the Royal as well as the affiliate hotels. The gentleman said it would be deducted from the final bill; however, at checkout no discounts were applied. I questioned this and was told I needed to present my card at the time of each service and the deduction was not automatic. The bad info I received at checkin cost me at least $60.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Location and service
Cons: So many kids and not enough chairs and umbrellas by pool
Excellent9.1
Pros: Really good rooms and service.
Cons: The gym was not good!
Excellent9.7
Pros: The staff was wonderful and the Mai Tai bar was a great place to sit and watch the sun go down. Rooms were very comfortable
Cons: This place is expensive, it really helps to be in the mindset that you aren't bargain hunting when you stay here. If you are here in peak season and want to take advantage of beach chair or umbrella rentals you may want to book them before you are onsite.
Good7.6
Pros: Décor of main hotel was impressive however the waterfront tower that we stayed in was less than impressive. Without the oceanview it would rank average to poor.
Cons: Pool attendant was rather rude.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Excellent location for beach access, shopping and dining.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Historic, iconic hotel, still the best
Cons: Nothing
Good6.0
Pros: on the beach
Cons: They charge for a beach chair 45.00 daily. very crowded at pool and pool is very small.
Excellent10.0
Pros: My girlfriend and I agree that The Royal Hawaiian is our go-to hotel for our stay-cations. We LOVE it there. It's hard to even consider other local hotels. The staff, the facilities, the service, and the way that the hotel feels secluded even though we're in the middle of Waikiki... there's so much to love about this place. This is our second year in a row staying here, and we'll definitely be back. Mahalo to everyone there for continuing to impress us.
Cons: This space intentionally left blank. :-)
Okay4.2
Pros: The beach the ambiance
Cons: Everything else
Excellent9.4
Pros: Though we were in the heart of Waikiki, it did not feel like we were anywhere near the hustle and bustle that is the Waikiki of today. It truly felt like a getaway. Service was stellar, the staff was friendly and attentive, the setting and atmosphere can't be beat. You've spoiled us; we can never stay in another Waikiki hotel. TRH is the one for us.
Cons: Minor gripes about cleanliness. Found a charm and a bobby pin left by previous room occupants, and toilet had a few hairs and spots also from previous occupants.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Have dreamed of staying at the Royal Hawaiian for many years. The vacation more-than lived up to expectations. The adjacent mall and food court provided entertainment, shopping and reasonable meal choices.
Cons: Mid-week was peaceful and serene. By the weekend the place was filling up with lots of tourists. Can't believe how many people were in Waikiki in general.
Excellent8.8
Pros: The hotel itself is quite beautiful. Though there is a very small pool, the pool deck is very comfortable and private. There is a fabulous view of Diamond Head on the beach. It's also not a mega hotel, so the number of people wasn't too overwhelming. The delicious muffins were a very nice touch, as well as the staff attention on the pool deck. Great location.
Cons: Our room seemed small. There were too many reasons we had to call for help, including repairs to the room and keys not working. All resolved, but annoying. I don't think a hotel of this caliber should be having these kind of problems. The price tag is very steep and I wasn't convinced it was worth it.
Excellent8.2
Pros: Location is tops, literally the best part of Waikiki Beach fronts the hotel. Amazing history, second only to the Moana Surfrider. Very romantic, but not much stuff to do for kids.
Cons: AC in historic wing could be better. Pool is very small. Not sure why families bring kids here, they'd be much happier at one of the bigger resorts (including the Sheraton right next door).

Pros: Everything about the room is top notch. If going to the Hilton Hawaiian stay here it’s the newest tower and it really shows.
Cons: The resort is just too pricey. $43 for parking and a $35 resort fee. So with the taxes you are well over $500 per night. Not affordable. Check out is 10am even for Hilton Honors they only have me until 10:30. Not good.

Pros: Courtesy room to be used after you check out (30 minutes on a first come first serve basis). Large and comfortable room. Service from Staff was outstanding.
Cons: Daily parking fee, breakfast was just OK. Slow and small elevators.

Pros: So very happy with my stay here. A wonderful bright, cheery welcome awaited me from Jinny upon checkin. I had booked the least inexpensive room I could find, so enquired about getting an ocean view, and was thrilled when Jinny found a room on the top floor with views of ocean, pool, and city. ise" in the background was easily acclimated to. Superbly helpful valets, bellpeople, customer service. Few tiny bumps, but wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Breakfast buffet typical, but was happy to see it well staffed to keep tables and areas clean. PS really liked their biz center, gym and laundry (always like hotels that don't charge for printing a few pages or faxing).
Cons: Room and furnishing were nice and bellman even made sure to turn on refrigerator upon arrival. Only downsides I found were air conditioning was problematic, had thermostat set at 70, and room was closer to 80. Mattress has seen its better days, but linens were fresh and new. It might be the location of the room, but sounded like muffled fireworks going off every night, which after tthee first few nights determined it was an internal to hotel noise issue rat her than eternal. Like everything it was a trade off, I'm sure they woujld have moved me had I asked, but really liked the view so the "white no

Pros: Excellent stay overall.
Excellent8.0
Not much of a beach so would not recommend for long periods with small children. Short drive or walk to many restaurants Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Excellent8.0
Everything was great with the exception that they are renovating - which we were not made aware of. I believe the renovations they will do will make them more competitive with some of the other beach front properties because it does not have an in house restaurant that is overlooking the ocean. They do have a 'members' area that you can get breakfast and and afternoon appetizer that overlooks the ocean but it is indoors and not a full lunch and or dinner menu. There are tons of great other places to eat but would have been nice to do a few meals with the view in the hotel. The other thing was you were walking through the construction zone to get to the beach and our room--not the feeling of a luxury hotel. Having said that the room was fabulous-- had a full beach view and the staff was outstanding.

Excellent10.0
Pros: THE BEACH ACCESS, FAMILY FRIENDLY, AND LOCATION. THIS WAS ONE OF THE VACATIONS OUR FAMILY HAS HAD.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Located right on the beach with plenty of activities avail. Much more secluded and private compared to downtown. I think this location is more upscale compared to the other Outrigger Beach. We did have a great view of the pool and could leave the door open for the lani then listen to the nightly entertainment. Everything to eat and shop is in walking distance. They were very welcoming upon arrival with a cool towel and a mango drink. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. This is for sure my go-to place in Waikiki.
Cons: The only think I could say.... Would be the servers poolside. I gave him my money and it took about 15/20 mins before he came back with my drink.... I ended up going to the bar myself the rest of my stay and the bartenders were excellent, friendly, quick, and much better.
Excellent9.6
Pros: Location, restaurants, room, pool, hot tubs
Cons: Price
Mediocre2.8
Cons: We paid for a ocean front view sweet and got stuck with a hotel view of the other side of the hotel. The room was made for handicapped people and there was nothing sweet about it. I paid an extra 200 dollars for an oceanfront view and I feel like a got screwed. Also they charged me 38 bucks for parking and 31 dollars on a resort fee, and the hotel that was suppose to be on Wikiki was actually on a different beach. This was our last night on our honeymoon and the hotel sent me an email at midnight to with them about the room and I didnt see the email till the next day when we had no time to talk due to the flight we needed to catch. Also the shower head was busted and it took over 20 minutes to get our rental car from the valet.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Key location to other touristy areas
Cons: Way too much emphasis on Timeshare resort purchase!
Excellent9.7
Pros: The beach and the warm ocean breezes The service was excellent.
Cons: Traffic and congestion in Honolulu.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Pool. Water front. Restaurant.
Cons: To many workers trying to get you to sign up for timeshare. No family in bathroom.
Good7.1
Pros: Valet service, Maint, check-in was great.
Cons: Didnt like the room too much...had cityview...but not city just a wall ..also was on 3rd floor.
Excellent8.8
Pros: The room was very nice and the comfortable. We ate at the Kani Ka Pila Grill 2 evenings and for 1 breakfast. Everything we ate was very good and the service was good. The Mai Tais were awesome. Be sure to go for Happy Hour, great food and drink prices with live entertainment. There is more live entertainment in the evenings. We heard 3 different groups and all were excellent.
Cons: We were disappointed in the Shore Bird Restaurant. The mai tais were so good at the grill that we ordered them here and were very disappointed. We regretted ordering the buffet. It was okay but not for what we paid (even considering island prices. Can only hope ordering off the menu would be better. It is very difficult to walk in the water in front of the hotel, water shoes are highly recommended. we later learned that just down the beach it was a sandy bottom. Wish someone had shared that with us,
Good7.7
Cons: Being charged resort fees at the hotel when I was told in my reservation / confirmation email there were none.
Excellent9.0
Pros: Nice views and great location in Waikiki.
Cons: Not much going on at night or at the pool. Not even music at the pool.

Pros: Location was great and the staff was very friendly. The room also comes with two bathrooms and kitchen which was very convenient
Cons: parking was pretty expensive but they give you one day free for a week rate, the room was small for 5 people
Good6.5
Pros: Location location location. I have to say the staff were on point on every questions and requests I made.
Cons: For a resort they had a pull out bed. Compact size room.

Excellent9.4
Pros: The staff was exceptional. Good location, you can walk to anywhere. The resort even has a room that you can shower up at and supplied with shampoo etc.
Cons: The washer and dryers weren't always all working.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Courteous and helpful staff. Loved that they had an event coordinator onsite so being first time travelers to the location helped us a lot to plan our stay. On our last day we had to check out at 10 am, but we also had a whole day ahead of us to wait for our flight. They were gracious enough to give us complimentary baggage story while we explored more of the city, and gave us access to their meeting areas and showers when we returned to wait til our time to go to the airport. Superb customer service!
Cons: Only reason for shorting them one star in the “Value” category was due to not having all inclusive breakfast. I know that’s not typical of most hotels in the area, but would have made everything just perfect if they accommodated for all inclusive breakfasts as well.
Good7.9
My only real issue with our room a d the facilities in general was just space, everything just seemed a little small and very cozy. It was top notch cleanliness wise, the staff was fantastic and very nice, always eager to help, the location is pretty solid, you’re right off the H1 to get around Oahu, minutes away from Waikiki sandy beaches and downtown shops and restaurants. The only thing that left me wanting a little more was the space of the rooms and of the pool area. Maybe a bar somewhere on premises.
Good6.8
Pros: Nice room, nice staff very clean and updated.
Cons: Pool was too small, there wasnt a bar in the hotel. The parking costed 30 dollars extra. Location is kind of out of the way
Excellent8.0
Pros: The location was great. Basically anything you want to get to in Waikiki is within a 20 min walk. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
Cons: They try to push a time share or some sort of thing on you. We didn't go to the presentation but we are on our honeymoon and no I don't want to take a morning to sit with you and listen to how I should buy a room at the Wyndham. Could have used more sitting space in the room and the balcony was small.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Liked the location, the staff, the room itself, the laundry, the media room and the zen garden. Everyone super nice and good humored. Security is good. Plus on the one day it rained hard, there were board and card games available at the desk. Wahoo! I'd definitely stay there again.
Cons: Elevators are torn up and the apartments next door run down so initial impression was concern that the room would be too but thankfully it wasn't. Concierge was nice but didn't read guest well or represent correctly what the gently insisted upon "update for owners" was - which was another timeshare presentation. Only truly negative feeling about the whole stay was feeling dogged by concierge desk about it. However, I went and it was fine.
Offering direct access to the beach, this Waikiki resort is in the entertainment district, steps away from Kuhio Beach Park and Duke Kahanamoku Statue. International Market Place and Honolulu Zoo are also within 10 minutes.

Pros: After a chaotic wedding week this place was just what I needed. The bed was fantastic. I hadn’t slept that well in months!
Cons: Long check I lines after 2 pm
Excellent10.0
Pros: I LOVE the new renovations they are doing here. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back for sure. Comfortable beds, great showers, beautiful views. Friendly staff ! It was wonderful.
Cons: The 35$ breakfast cost. It was a surprise to me to pay that much for breakfast.
Good7.7
Pros: Location! Great view and clean
Cons: Outdated decor is easily overlooked for a clean low priced room
Excellent9.4
Pros: When you go to Wikipedia and look up Waikiki, there is a picture of THIS hotel! If you book an Ocean-front room on a higher floor in the Eastern-most tower, you'll have the classic view most can only dream of from your balcony or even inside the room. Besides the obvious beach across the street, within a few blocks walk, you'll find dozens of restaurants and high-end shops, as well as the Honolulu bus transit line. Timely response to the only need we presented was commendable. Wifi worked well, also.
Cons: Room service neglected to replace the coffee pod on one of the days the room was cleaned. We didn't notice until the following morning when it was time to make coffee. When visiting the fitness room, one of the two elliptical trainers had a broken display. This made it impossible to use in any mode other than manual.
Excellent9.6
Pros: I liked the location of the hotel and the area around it.
Cons: There was a lot of people staying whhich even though it had multiple elevators it took a long time to get from floor 1 to 31.
Okay4.3
Cons: For the money not a nice hotel room. I would not consider it a 3 star hotel, more like a 2.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Everything! Especially the Beach/Waterfront! It was walking distance from the hotel and EVEYTHING else...Love it. I booked this trip as a father's day present for my husband and to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary...loved everything!
Cons: No much....
Excellent10.0
Pros: The water pressure in the shower was excellent! The staff asked us daily if there was anything they could do to improve our stay; it made us feel very welcome and that they were eager to make our stay the best it could be.
Cons: Nothing; we have no complaints.
Excellent9.6
Pros: The view was amazing.
Excellent8.0
Pros: The updated room was very nice. We stayed on the 37th floor and we had a fabulous view of Diamond Head and the beach. The beach is literally right in front of the hotel. The location is great. It is within walking distance of everything you need. This hotel is a great value for the price. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The lobby needs to be updated. It was clean but the decor looked like it was from the 80's. They need to update it like the rooms. The elevators were a bit of a hassle. There were 4 of them and one was not working. The ones that were working seemed to have a mind of their own at times.
Excellent8.5
Pros: The hotel is newly renovated and less than a 5 min walk to the beach Love the pool And lot of all love their customer service. Renee went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care off Great breakfast The aquarium was really fun for our kids along with the pool.
Cons: Our refrigerator broke on day one but they were good about replacing it The parking is expensive $30 a day as is the breakfast buffet $35 per person Wish the kids pool was heated The Morimoto restaurant customer service was disappointing as they kept saying the chef was there so we made multiple reservations and yet every time we went they came up with some excuse as to why we could not meet him. A great way to make money
Okay4.2
Cons: I booked this room for my elderly parents for their first vacation in Hawaii. Paid for a partial ocean view room, and got only a slice of ocean. They were given the worst room possible in that category. AC unit outside room was extremely loud which made their sleep miserable. I feel sorry for them and regret booking this hotel. But the damage was done.
Good6.0
Pros: I liked the location. It's right next to the mcdonalds if you're hungry for a cheap meal, especially if you don't want to spend $35 for the breakfast buffet that they offer at the hotel. But if you get a free deal for the breakfast buffet if you book through Expedia or a third party website , it's definitely worth it. There's a parking garage connected to the hotel but it'll cost you $25/night. It's also super close to the Hyatt and international market. And the beach is 1 min walk. You just have to cross a stoplight. Diamond Head and the zoo are close too. I would uber to diamond Head if it's later in the day cuz parking can go fast. But the zoo is walkable.
Cons: There's a hidden resort fee that you pay $20 a night for. But my question was, where's the resort? The clerk was like, "this is the resort." But he wasn't clear that the "resort fee" included beach towels and beach chairs. There's a LOT of construction going on. It doesn't bother me so much, but it might bother you. There's no pool, but the hotel does have access to the Hilton's pool next door. But I was just swimming at the beach the whole time. All the "resort" amenities are basically under construction/refurbishment- like the aquarium with restaurant and tennis courts. So the only thing was I was paying a resort fee when the stuff for the resort aren't even available. I feel like they should have just waived the resort fee.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Location, people and hotal interior is awesome ~
Excellent9.1
Pros: Love every second of my stay. The staff was very accommodating. Whether you're a visitor from another state or country, they treated every guest equally. And we were visiting from another island. My favorite was the huge Aquarium and the swimming Mermaid.
Located in Waikiki, this beachfront resort is on the boardwalk, just steps away from Royal-Moana Beach, International Market Place and Waikiki Beach. Royal Hawaiian Center and Waikiki Beach Walk are also within 10 minutes.

Pros: Excellent location. Nice that there is an available laundry available. Decent size rooms. Friendly staff.
Cons: Not crazy about Duke's. Mediocre food and service. Pool area is on the small side.
Excellent9.1
Pros: I love the location ...so close to everything !
Cons: The fact that the outside air con unit was just below us &!it was VERY noisy ! The fact that as a paying guest at the hotel, we couldn't book a table at dinner time in DUKES ! Also upset that there is no longer the 'all you can eat' buffet in the evenings!
Excellent9.6
Pros: Comfortable, clean, and excellent location. Hotel restaurants are good and have a great view of Waikiki beach.
Cons: The gym is almost nonexistent.
Good6.5
Pros: Convenient location right on the beach.
Cons: Elevators were confusing and did not respond properly. Stopped at almost every floor going up and down.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Excellent accommodation, great staff particularly a guy called Alex at Reception. Nothing was too much bother. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: There was, in our opinion, nothing to dislike.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Smack dab on the beach in the best part if Waikiki. Staff was super friendly. Pillows were the best.
Cons: Pool area too small.. Difficult to get a chair. Piol, hot tub closed too early. Bar so crowded difficult to get a place to sit.
Excellent8.5
Pros: The staff was amazing!!! Everyone was willing to go the extra mile to help out. The location is amazing and in the heart of Waikiki!
Cons: Wifi Connectivity is limited to 3 devices and customer support cannot change this. The lack of a full bath tub was disappointing.
Good7.7
Pros: Location is excellent. Restaurants are great with excellent staff.
Cons: Late checkout is $25 per hour. Maybe this is a new standard but it's not guest-friendly. When flights leave late in the afternoon, an 11:00 am checkout with no convenient option for staying an extra hour is very inconvenient.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Centrally located hotel with a very popular restaurant/bar located on the ground level.
Cons: This is a very busy hotel that lacks a "real" lobby. Some people might not even notice this, but it may the stay feel odd, sort of unofficial since the only time we interacted with any staff was when we checked in.
Good6.8
Pros: Great location on the beach.
Cons: Some of the staff tried but didn't know basic things. Elevators have a strange call system and are very slow and crowded.

Okay4.5
Pros: Closeness to the beach
Cons: When we arrived to our room, the city view was a view of the parking garage, actual a parked car was about 3 feet from our window. It was NOT a city view which I booked. When we called the front desk, we were advised they were completely booked and had no rooms available elsewhere. (We looked online and it did indicate there were rooms available for the night in a better location.) We were told we would be upgraded to a partial ocean view, but not until the next night. Also, there is an additional $30 charge per night for staying at that location, we were not advised of that until we were checking in. We also had to pay an additional $47 per day for valet parking which we also were not advised of until we checked in. The rooms are run down and carpets are old. In the high traffic areas the carpet had creases in spots, enough to cause us to trip. We had a negative encounter with one of your valets, we lost the valet ticket that was on the key, when we returned, they made a big deal of it, told us that we should have kept it on the key ring. Not good customer service especially after charging $47 per day!!!. This is a Marriott Resort and we booked it because of the name and our expectations were not even remotely met... Marriott should evaluate this location, both the desperate need of renovation and some of the customer service. If it's not going to be renovated soon, then charging appropriate hotel/motel rates and advertise appropriately.
Excellent10.0
Pros: From the moment I checked in, I received excellent service. Richard was the gentlemen who checked me in, offered top-notch service, gave me a wonderful room, made me feel valued for being an Elite Marriott Rewards member, thoroughly explained the Resort Fee and Package. I enjoyed my time there and wish I was there longer.
Cons: They did charge me for valet parking when I only used guest parking. I had to get that corrected.
Okay5.1
Pros: the location is great
Cons: everything else
Excellent9.7
Pros: The location is acceptable and very close to the beach. Depending on where your room is located you might be impacted by the pool activity and noise.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that you get a room rate online, but when you arrive there are extra fees (Resort Fee $30.00 a day, and if you valet park a vehicle, it is $37.00 a day). The fees are not necessarily hidden, they are just not posted on the daily rate schedule. You find out when you are checking in. I have stayed in Honolulu many times and these fees are normal for most of the hotels. Hence, it would be better to show all of the rates and fees that are associated with your stay, so that you can make an intelligent choice in your selection of a hotel,
Good7.7
Pros: The hotel is great. It is clean with a friendly staff and located very conveniently.
Cons: My only complaint and my warning for folks booking here would be that the price is definitely not what you see. I booked my rooms on Kayak and paid in full at booking. When I got to the hotel I was told that there was a $30/ day + tax charge for staying in the hotel. To self park in the hotel parking garage is $35/day or you can valet park for $37/day. The additional $65+/day adds up quickly. Just a heads up. Otherwise the hotel was lovely.
Good7.7
Cons: Expected better view from upgraded room
Okay4.0
Pros: Nothing. Literally, this place steals your money and just treat you as a person who is going to keep them in business. Miserable.
Cons: Everything. This is not a hotel that should be associated with Marriott. I never used Marriott after this experience.
Located in Waikiki, this beachfront resort is connected to a shopping centre and within a 5-minute walk of Kuhio Beach Park and International Market Place. Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium are also within 15 minutes.

Pros: King size bed, quiet/clean room, n location perfect walking distance yo beach n shops
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff was super friendly and very helpful! We forgot to bring a stroller and they were able to loan us a stroller during our stay. There was something wrong with our room, but they managed to fix it right away. Had such an amazing stay would definitely recommend!
Cons: Something that was a bit confusing was how to order room service. We managed to bring food from Swim that was To-Go so that was the route we took instead of room service.
Excellent10.0
Pros: I liked everything. The room was beautiful, the view was spatscular and the staff was always friendly. I did not plan on all the hotel and parking fees and the front desk was able to work with me by signing me up for the club membership and giving me a military discount. I will deffeintly be coming back and reffering everyone to this Hyatt!
Excellent8.0
Pros: We liked the location on Kalakaua Ave. across from Waikiki beach and walking distance to restaurants, shops and entertainment.
Cons: The pool is small for the size of the resort but we had the beach so we made it work for ourselves.
Okay5.7
Pros: The room
Cons: All the fees

Pros: The bathroom had a bidet!
Cons: Noise, overpriced, busy, the shops on site staffing was unfriendly, too service food was horrible and they only serve till pm
Excellent8.0
Pros: I liked the fact that the view for the room we had was pretty comforting. We were able to see the ocean and close to the other shops. It was walking distance from many restaurants and overall me and my other half had a great time.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that there wasn't a microwave. However there was an alternative to make hot water using their coffee/tea machine. But that's minor compared to some other hotels we've been in.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Great value. Booked after Airbnb didn’t work out and it really was a vacation saver. Nice rooms, great beach across the street, helpful staff, plenty of shopping and excellent restaurants nearby. Amazing gym too.
Cons: Room was dirty , building infrastructure in dire need of serious renovations . Poor TV connectivity. Poor food choices for such a large resort. No longer worthy of the Hyatt brand & reputation
Okay4.8
Pros: In the centre for everything . Good clean rooms
Cons: To expensive the hotel charge extremely high prices for everything.
Good6.3
Pros: It has pretty nice view and close to beach.
Cons: I booked the room which has king bed and ocean view. But when I visited hotel there was no room of right that. I heard that my wife and I gotta stay 2 single bed inspite of we were in honey-moon. Staff in hotel told me "We do NOT guarantee the room type whatever I booked the room via Kayak." I claimed 3 times but nothing changed. Finally we spent more money($25 per night) to upgrade king-bed room. I wanna say u guys going to stay this hotel "They do NOT guarantee the room type."

Next time I will totally stay at a place that does not allow kids. This place was packed with people wall-to-wall. Too many people. Everywhere we went you had to wait.

Pros: I liked the space of the rooms. It was perfect for our family.
Cons: Housekeeping didn’t change the sheets regularly and always came by at different times when we actually needed the room. The amenity fee was unwanted since we didn’t want any of the extras and there was no way to opt out. At $25 per day it was a bit much.

Pros: Location!
Cons: They put us at the aston Sunset which was across the street! At the Bantan we had a pool on site at the sunset we didn't!

Pros: Spending a week in Hawaii and being able to make lunches and breakfast in the hotel saved a lot of money - so glad this place offered a kitchen to do that!
Cons: The beds were not comfortable and I got sick from the air conditioner - not sure how often they clean the units.
