Very loud, tiny room, shower smelled. Couldnt Check-In before 2pm.
Not major, but there was no wardrobe and one of the sockets did not work. But overall it was a very nice and comfortable stay
The staff were ever so helpful in getting us sorted for our stay as well as in the bar for apéro. The room was definitely "cosy". But - unlike many absurdly undersized hotel rooms in London where the impression one has of sleeping in a closet is without doubt more than just an impression - the cosy rooms are laid out like cabins on ancient sailing clippers. Beautifully appointed and all the furnishings smoothly integrated into the cabinetry, the bunk neatly fitted between the bulkheads and the heads were spacious and included a walk in shower. The Italian coffee served was just perfect and the charcuterie platter was a delightful voyage of discovery all the way down to Calabria.
The continental breakfast was in reality a French breakfast; just coffee and croissant. But the croissant was delicious; so we can't really complain.
The location was really good, bars and restaurants all very near by.
It was over priced and so small!!! It does state the rooms are small but I didn’t think a hotel room could be that! Small and that over priced. Wish I took note of the reviews before booking rather thank thinking that people were just moaning for the sake of it...I was so very wrong!! I did up grade my room when booking for a room with a window.... it was a tiny velux in the ceiling.... what a kop out. The large double bed was comfy...but half of it was under a low ceiling and when laying there I felt I was almost in a coffin and did bump my head on it a couple of times.
Let room to have a kettle for boiling water
