9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic views
Cons: Up hill climb after a meal and drink
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We ate in our rooms for two mornings as we had some food left over from our earlier stay in an apartment. We ate breakfast two mornings in the restaurant and there was a discounted price of €7 each instead of the usual €10, there was a good choice of cereals and fruit, fried eggs and scrambled were great. The staff work long hours and are always friendly and helpful. Fantastic views from the terrace.
Cons: As others have commented the beds are not very comfortable but for a short stay this is ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very boutique in style, select and small enough to remain personal. Scenic views, classy decor and pool, good food, friendly service. High up in resort so great for burning calories walking up and down - though this may cause issues for those less able especially in the heat. Plenty of taxis in town though if needed, we never used any. Great base to explore and fair choice of restaurants and bars in los gigantes town
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was lovely, very modern and comfortable. There are only 35 apartments in total. The staff were exceptional. Tip: ask for a top floor apartment for the views and to avoid noise from apartment above.
Cons: The mattress was vey hard! I asked for a mattress topper which they provided - I think this request must be made fairly regularly! It's a bit of a steep walk to the centre and beach.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Great views of Los Gigantes cliffs and the seafront. Stunning sundowner views. Great hotel for families with young children. The apartment is spacious, nicely furnished, clean and practical. Super handy to have a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. Complimentary drinks, two bottles of water and use of beach towels. Friendly and helpful reception staff. The pool is area was clean/organised. There's a small playroom for the kids.
Cons: We had a few rowdy families using the pool until quite late at night (10:30-11pm), however once they left things went back to normal.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fine.
Cons: Staff were exceptional. Room door handle & lock were not operating properly upon our arrival. We reported this to the staff, but unfortunately door lock pieces needed to be ordered. Wish this had been fixed prior to our arrival, but I believe this was likely due to prior guests not taking the time to report the problem to management.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff was amazing and extremely helpful. Room very clean.
Cons: Not enough food choice for breakfast

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and efficient
Cons: Weather!
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Everything
6.0 Good
Pros: The buildings are really beautiful also the swimming pool area is nice. The private beach here is amazing.
Cons: Even Ritz Calton claimed itself as a luxury hotel, I feel like this is the worst 5 stars hotel experience for me. When we arrived, we didn't get any welcome drinks and the front desk didn't even introduce the hotel to me. She didn't give us a map of the resort and I didn’t know that the hotel had a private beach (I checked it myself later on the website lol). I didn’t even know where and when for the breakfast, everything just like a joke. I need to asked everything myself! Furthermore, I booked a double room with sea view but I can only see a little bit of the sea, my balcony is facing at the resort view. Moreover, the floor in my room is dirty, feel lots of dust and sand. (My sole of foot just turned black in 10 minutes after we arrived) This resort doesn't deserve this price, I had stayed in so many luxury hotels around the world and I feel this time is the worst also feel very disappointed.
6.0 Good
Pros: Adult pool and beach
Cons: Too impersonal and busy Too americanised and slow service

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel in a nice town a few minutes walk away. Food good in main restaurant however some of the specialist restaurants seemed to struggle. Large garden areas and a small beach outside of the main complex
6.8 Good
Pros: Liked the rooms, the pools, the public areas, the location for Alcala.
Cons: The breakfast food was very average. So we ate in town for all other meals (good selection of places nearby). Sunbeds were poor with no matresses. I had a good stay but came away thinking it was a 3 star package holiday hotel passing itself off as 5 star because of the 'red level' bit attached to it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, relaxed , convenient . Excellent pool facilities.
Cons: Restaurants are over priced for the food provided. A few small restaurants around the corner from the resort are better value Small negative in an other wise fabulous holiday.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Facilities, cleanness, staff
Cons: Food at the buffet
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable Staff extremely helpful Very good and spacious grounds
Cons: Food in most restaurants could have been warmer Buffet costs very expensive
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is fantastic one of the best I have stayed at
Cons: unfortunately why we was there there was a sand storm I don’t think the hotel was ready for it and didn’t have a back up plan, people staying had nothing to do all pools where shut and lounging was out of bounds due to high winds, there was a lot of waiting time for breakfast lunch and dinner, we had no water replenished in our room for the three days we were there and no tea or coffee whilst I understand that the storm was not the fault of the hotel I believe the hotel should have been better prepared for such an eventuality, I would 100% stay again and hope that the hotel learn from the points I have raised.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: At breakfast there was not as much variety as some other hotels of the same rank, but the cooed breakfast was fresh and hot Very elegant in the main areas. Good quality toiletries. Hotel coped as well as possible during the Calima with all the dust. the room service meal was very good.
Cons: Pool areas were poorly designed, too much pool which looked pretty but not enough room to swim. Wifi was very erratic.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and quick service throughout our stay - immediately felt right at home! The rooms are fantastic and very comfortable, and the facilities are superb and in great condition. The lagoon pool is idyllic and spacious - it feels like.your own saltwater paradise to float around in. The breakfast is huge and all of the options (hot and cold food, wide variety of drinks) are delicious. Great start to the day. For the price, this is a fantastic resort, and we will definitely return!
Cons: While in general everything was fantastic, the quality of food and service at the restaurants could be better. Service staff seemed at times preoccupied, and the food is nice but not more than that
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The facility was excellent the staff were kind, and, very friendly. Paola, Christina , very pleasant: even when you felt that you were asking for too much, they were ready to help with a smile.
Cons: Inconsistency in cleaning the rooms! Noticed neglect in the way that the rooms were cleaned. The shadow :-(of previous guests remained, on the tables, chairs, ( not thoroughly cleaned) but when you asked they happily corrected it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The look, clean, crisp and fresh the gardens the atmosphere. Nothing to be faulted. Breakfast was lovely
Cons: Only thing that can be faulted is the sun loungers to customer ratio and people putting towels on the loungers and being no where in site.
Barceló Santiago - Santiago del Teide - Building
7
8.6 Excellent (1,748 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Barceló Santiago hotel is situated in the most beautiful natural setting in the south of Tenerife, with unique views of the island of La Gomera and the Los Gigantes cliffs and just 200 m from the nearest beach.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location, great view, nice swimming pools.
Cons: Room cleaning could have been better
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The property, staff and accommodations far exceeded our expectations when we arrived on property. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly consider coming back to Barcelo Santiago. The view of Los Gigantes was beautiful as well as the pool overlooking the water. There were many options for breakfast and dinner which made it that much easier to stay on property and enjoy the surroundings.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The view was outstanding
Cons: Poor TV connection, poor air conditioning, very basic no decor, no pics or artwork
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: My room with balcony was on the side of the hotel with a building/road works in the daytime just downstairs. But it was outside from the wonderful window view,so not a big issue. The food at the dinner buffet restaurant was very good but not great as expected from an hotel like this.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s fantastic position and views
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding location, Princess Deborah and the poolside team were great. The pool was exceptionally clean as was the whole outside area. Everything seemed to be kept in tip top condition. Plenty of space for everyone even when busy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: You Can not ask moore.Only down things 3€ for a safe deposit.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Inside corridors, spectacular! We enjoy hiking, cabriolet, and all island is small easy drive all cross around!
Cons: Terrace on booking pictures, was not the same as in reality, do not like fence. Do not like people walking so close, smoking. There is no point for apartment with bath. Very hard to find parking spot.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A great location and the wondeful staff had patience to help us, whenever was needed, with smile.
Allegro Isora - Guía de Isora - Building
8
7.8 Good (3,192 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Allegro Isora (belonging to the Barceló Hotel Group and formerly the Barceló Varadero) is a splendid hotel next to the beach on the wonderful Canary island of Tenerife. This land in the middle of the Atlantic has a special charm. From the moment they land, visitors are inspired to discover Tenerife's fascinating places, its cuisine, people and landscapes with nature in its purest state.
5.0 Okay
Pros: very good
Cons: there was a bad smell in the room like dry water locks, loose toilet seat and missing toilet brush
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, good food, clean, three pools of different sizes, two open at the time; early season, perhaps. Room was spacious. A lot of facilities and activities possible on-site. A good location with a local bus stop right outside. Walk one way and you're in the centre of Puerto de Santiago in a few minutes. Walk down a hill across the road and you quickly come to a lovely coastal walkway which leads to natural sea pools for swimming and many recreational spots along the way, all the way to the town of Alcala and beyond. Easy to get to different spots by bus and bike also.
Cons: Room keys frequently didn't work, mechanisms clearly old and well-used. On the last day I had to give up trying to get in because of it and get it fixed at desk. Went half-board but still had to pay for water with dinner. Beds not very comfortable. Biggest and only real complaint: My flight returned to Dublin on first day because of sandstorms which closed every airport in the Canary Islands, so I arrived a day late. However, a request for a discount was refused and yet they told me the hotel was full. Therefore, they were charging twice for that room (I had to wait for it to be cleaned, so it was in use) , once for the night I wasn't there and someone else was, and then still charged me for that night also. Very poor corporate attitude.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of choice for food for all meals. Room was spacious and accessible. Pool was lovely. Took note that it was my mams birthday and left a treat in the room. Entertainment and outside bar was great.
Cons: Check in was incredibly slow - took around 30 minutes! Bathroom could have been a little cleaner (not dirty as such, just old and stained)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to a black sand beach.. lovely swimming pools, loved the games.. the hotel is so clean, they were constantly cleaning everything which is good to see.
Cons: Had a couple of issues with the room keys but that’s it.. everything else was perfect.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall it was very good
Cons: I had my handbag stolen from the bar of the hotel and reception staff were not at all helpful.
6.7 Good
Pros: The receptionist was very helpful I think here name was Helena, she phoned round and found a room for us which essentially saved us from having to sleep rough outside with an 18 month old baby as no hotels with rooms after the whole airport was closed. It was an expensive stay bit I suppose this is because it was booked last minute
Cons: I booked this hotel as an emergency after my flight was cancelled. I arrived and they said that they had no rooms although I have a booking confirmation, though I expect that is more fault of booking.com than the hotel.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast, location, and pool area. The animation team was also very nice.
Cons: Rudeness of staff. The cleaning standards of the rooms were terrible. The check in time is something that is not adhered to. Its all very messy.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Got the hotel when flights were cancelled.
Cons: Too crowded Not very clean Old and needs renovation Food wasn’t great, but that’s what you get for the price

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent and immaculately clean on arrival. A complimentary bottle of water and wine was very thoughtful The staff throughout the hotel including reception staff, cleaners and maintenance staff were all extremely helpful The cafe staff were so lovely they had just taken over the cafe and were trying so hard a lovely family All in all a brilliant stay We stayed in room 302 and our friends were in 303
7.0 Good
Pros: Spacious apartment, clean towels every 2 days and apartment cleaned halfway through the week. Lovely pool. Broken coffee machine was replaced straight away and washing machine mended straight away.
Cons: The apartment needs refurbishment. There was a lot of noise of building work going on in the other apartments. The internet did not work. I would log in and get one page up, then I would be logged out. I reported this to reception and was told "no one else has complained"!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice swimming pool. Simple but clean and not too busy. Good size of the apartment for a family with children. There was a nice view on the see from the balcony, even we had our apartment on the "garden"/swimpool side. Good location and good acces with multiple gates can be opened with your key. There are several supermarkets very close nearby. Enough parking space nearby on street.
Cons: Some things are little old in the apartment complex.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice view on 3th floor of the "back"-building. Sleeping room is very quiet at night, even with open window. Big terrace. Big living room. Open kitchen has everything you require.
Cons: I expected even less traffic noise (on the terrace-side) in comparison to the front building. But it is the opposite. I think that the front building has mainly noise from the roundabout crossing where traffic speed is then limited while the back-building gets it before the crossing where the traffic has a higher speed. However noise is still limited and I did not consider it very disturbing. Noise at the back-side of the appartment is much more since it lies directly at a busy street. However, you only notice that in the bathroom. (BTW I had an appartment not close to the roundabout crossing.)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place with everything nearby the room felt like home with your own privacy, very clean and lovely view would stay again
Cons: Could have done with better pillows
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place to stay with our swedish family. We have been there 3 times now and will return!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect English spoken by receptionist, who ordered a pizza for me to my complete satisfaction.
Cons: Nothing. All spot on.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff, super clean apartment-despite being very dated
Cons: Swimming pool by the roundabout and Lidl supermarket, despite of heated water it unfortunately didn’t attract like the place I wanted to spend any time at..
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great size apartments, clean, friendly and helpful staff, central location, Lidl, literally across the road, the area and apartment were very safe for travelling on your own to. Overall, I would highly recommend.
Cons: The only down side was the noise by the pool due to the road been so close by.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The quality of hotel, accommodation are excellent, the staff are excellent, warm & friendly
Cons: Oasis Pool Grill experience was awful, the worst meal I have had in a long time - monkfish with brown fish gravy is awful 25 euros for monkfish 2 mussels a couple of clams & a cold prawn, the gravy stinks like fish guts. Beef Cheeks that had clearly been cooked hrs / days before, rock hard when they should fall apart, lumpy mash - bad experience. 5 euros for a small beer, drink prices are a rip off - these things let down the quality of hotel & the exceptional quality of staff
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Well maintained property.
Cons: The food was disappointing. Also quality was inconsistent.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hotel and facilities. Breakfast delicious and service was always amazing. Happy hour an added bonus. Friendly helpful staff
Cons: Make sure to always check your bill at the end of the stay. Checked out with 100€ added to our bill... somebody had used our room number to pay for there dinner. Luckily it was sorted out quite quickly by reception but something to be wary about as you are encouraged to put food / drink on rooms during the stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were of a high standard, our room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The pool was lovely and the infinity pool was enormous. The staff were friendly and so helpful, they made our stay amazing. We had the best time.
Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like at the property

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect apartment with everything you need in excellent condition
Cons: First apartment we have been offered was quite noisy and we had to stay one night before moving on to the quite one. The web application did not work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and very clean
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fine. The apartment, the thee swimming pools and their locations together with the Reception Building overlooking the Golf Course, the Ritz Carlton and the sea with its restaurant etc were quite stunning and very well maintained. All the staff that we met were cheerful and helpful except for one caveat - see below.
Cons: We found that even though the tennis courts were always underused and we sometimes played over the hourly period for a short time we were immediatly hit with another hourly charge which we considered to be rather grasping .This spoilt the generally very good relations and atmosphere built up by the staff. It should be noted that one of the reasons that we booked at Las Terrazzas was for the tennis and compared to other resorts that we have stayed and played in ,it did not represent value for money
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities
Cons: The noise. Construction going in on adjoining site and very intrusive when trying to relax .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the accommodation, only downside, the restaurant wasn’t always open.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: In main restaurant with terrace and views; daily cooked options
Cons: I posited 3 issues when I left: 1) little ants I fest the kitchen and anywhere you leave food, they even get into the beds! I noted there was a van with pest control several days running. 2) whilst there was teas/ coffees and one water on arrival, there was nothing else in the kitchen, e.g. paper roll, liquid wash up or even paper tissues. There were cosmetics such as shampoo, towels, but no flannel. I said 10€ per apartment on items would have sufficed! 3) there are 3 pools, but 2 quieter ones just have a cold water open shower, so no one uses it - not hygienic! Additionally, I kept asking pre-visit for a wheelchair, but go no reply until, they finally asked “manual” or electric, and we gave up and brought our own!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The cleaning staff were brilliant. They cleaned the room every day and were always very friendly. The rooms were very spacious, bright and airy. The hotel was very central.
Cons: There was a very bad selection of cereal for breakfast. There were just three different cereals which would be suitable for children only. However on my fourth day there a fourth cereal of muesli appeared. There were so many flies around in the restaurant while eating which was very off putting. the cups were very small for coffee or tea. The water in the machine was not hot enough to make tea. The toaster was actually going too fast which meant that the bread had to be put through 3 times to get one side toasted. This meant there was always a queue for the toaster.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Bit noisy at times
7.1 Good
Pros: Spacious rooms, clean, a bit old fashion though. Close to the Ocean
Cons: The choice of food was quite OK but poor of quality. Personnel did not let come guests with me even for a short time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, very clean, pleasant staff, comfortable beds, breakfast good, good size rooms
Cons: Nothing really
7.9 Good
Pros: The rooms were very spacious
Cons: We had issues with the hot water as the boiler in the room broke, this would not have been such an issue but was obviously broken before we checked in as it was unplugged
7.5 Good
Pros: Good value. Staff very pleasant and extremely helpful. Room very spacious and very clean.
Cons: Food quality and choice limited compared to other all inclusive hotels we have visited in the Canaries. Water dispensers dirty and needed cleaning much more regularly.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean and friendly staff. Really lovely pool and comfortable rooms.
Cons: The food was terrible. We paid for all inclusive but barely ate there at all. Poor value for money.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast ok . Missed my porridge !
Cons: Lack of English TV . A GOOD FILM CHANNEL.

Pros: Room was comfortable, breakfast great, lots of choice, catered for gluten free. Lunches by the pool were also great. Staff were friendly cheerful and helpful. Big choice of good restaurants nearby. Great to have the gym which I used most mornings.
Cons: Not the prettiest building, but comfortable once inside. The location also not the prettiest, but easy to find nice places if you look. Perfect for a last minute winter getaway. Pool not heated, I know some found it cold! but my family went in several times a day, fine once you're in!! Hadn't realised you can't swim in the sea in most of the beaches nearby so was glad to have the pool.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room, facilities and location exceeded our expectations. It was a quiet place but within walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. The breakfast was very varied and plentiful with lovely staff. The reception staff were also pleasant and helpful.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very spacious and clean
Cons: No television channels for UK
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every member of staff was lovely and helpful. The receptionist always helped us to plan our days. We bought tickets to the attractions and rented a car within a minute through them. Breakfast was amazing, every day we could try something new and delicious. Also the car rental deserves 5*! They picked us up at the hotel to take us to our car and instead of returning the car we could just park around the hotel and left the key at the reception. All these for low price.

Pros: The food was good! The view was great. The entire staff (reception, restaurant, service, etc..) was very(!) Helpful! The room was small but sufficient. The location was great.
Cons: It would have been great if plain water had been available for dinner as well (for half pension) since one can't drink the water from the faucet. 1-2 wasy to access plugs in the bedroom would also be great. We didn't need the tv so we used that plug instead.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to beach. Clean hotel
Cons: All okay
7.5 Good
Pros: The area, little city and the beach are amazing. Food was nice.
Cons: In hotel during first day the coocaracha said hello. If possible take the room with air conditioning, since it was around 38c in the room after the day, each day. That was tiring.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean hotel, food was good, staff friendly and cheery....
Cons: Soap renewed and bins emptied

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was really nice. We stayed in villa 4 that was rather modern. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning sun from the veranda in front of the villa and the view from our balcony was beautiful. Everything was very clean, the pool area was nice (not to crowded), a heated pool that was good for swimming, a nice bar and restaurant by the pool and, last but not least, great staff in good spirits. We would definitely consider coming back.
Cons: The WiFi connection was bad so if you need to have a fast and reliable connection you should take some measures with you telephone company before leaving home.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The view is unbeatable. We had been before to the same apartment so knew what to expect, but we were stunned once again by the sheer beauty of the panorama from our terrace, lounge and bedroom. Very comfortable, well-equipped villa - everything we needed.
Cons: There are no flat walks directly from the complex, but with car or buses, long scenic flat walks can be found nearby.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, beautiful location, but easy access to some of the best sites on the island (Teide, Los Gigantes...). Away from the massive tourist crowds.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: An great location for exploring the Masca area of the island and fantastic walking opportunities. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. We had a comfortable bedroom with an enormous bed and equally enormous bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
Cons: We ate in the restaurant and the waiting staff were helpful and friendly but we thought the food over priced and very average.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: There was no cold water available when we moved into our room. The problem was solved in the course of the evening. Unfortunately afterwards the electricity in our room also failed and the sauna, the hair dryer and some of the lighting were not working. At our departure we were promised that the management will contact us. Unfortunately we have not heard anything until today.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good, enabling easy access to the countryside. Staff were generally helpful.
Cons: The room was in an annexe behind the main building and next to the car park. Lights fused twice due to a faulty kettle which was eventually replaced. Hot water supply was somewhat unreliable and spasmodic. Breakfast buffet was at times chaotic with lack of food, crockery and cutlery. Apart from this the food was generally adequate.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The waiter for dinner and breakfast was charming and worked his socks off.
Cons: Photos on the hotel's website give the impression that this hotel is a rural farm. In fact it's in a large village, close to a busy road and strong light pollution (that we could not stop getting into our room at night - although some of the light it from the hotel's own blinding pathway lighting). And while the hotel is based around an old farm, it's now just a somewhat characterless chain hotel. Our room smelled strongly musty on arrival, and we never properly got rid of this, and all the hotel could offer was cinnamon joss sticks. They had two electric heaters on full tilt (on a very warm day) when we arrived, so they must also have noticed, but did not offer an apology. Food: we were half board and this hotel was an expensive treat for us (750 euros half board for 4 nights). No complaints about the buffet breakfast. Dinner, though, was beyond a joke. Firstly we were given a special limited menu that excluded a number of things from their normal (still limited!) restaurant menu (that didn't change at all over 4 nights). Items we were allowed to select were mostly pretty plain - not as good as decent home cooking, and with a few things that were awful, particularly the chicken curry (some chopped up bits of insipid chicken breast sitting on some soggy chips. The 'curry' element was a small bowl of mild curry sauce that tasted of 'E' numbers more than anything. The only consolation was that guests who had access to the full menu didn't seem to be faring any better. The hotel was VERY full during our stay, which meant that the one lovely waiter was so busy he looked exhausted and at times could not keep up with demand, particularly at breakfast. The 'grand finale' on our last morning was builders using angle grinders just in front of the hotel breakfast terrace. Deafening and very smelly. And they didn't stop when guests complained to the receptionist. Where was the management through all this? Who knows.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unusual modern building set in interesting historical building a
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: La Casone del Patio is a nice hotel located in the quiet town of Santiago del Teide. It is a quiet town, but by car it is easy to reach the much more touristic places, such as Los Gigantes, Masca or Icod de los Vinos. Also the volcano Teide is easily reached. It offers comfortable quiet and spacious rooms, with good beds. The breakfast is excellent with many options.
Cons: The wifi could be better. In our room the standard wifi did not work. Fortunately the staff provided an alternative, which worked better.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely big room overlooking mountains but also plenty of communal spaces to relax inside and outside the hotel. Very good breakfast which can be eaten on the terrace. Excellent dinner, reasonably priced (not many other places to eat in the town). Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Cons: Nothing major. Bathroom products could have been better.
