I booked a car with GPS and called to confirm that my request was honoured. I was told it was. However when I went to pick up the car I was told there were no vehicles with GPS. I was upgraded to a better vehicle with CarPlay but it was not a good way to start the trip. Also, whenever I’ve rented a vehicle, someone has always checked the car with me and pointed out where various things are. Didn’t happen here. I left a poor review solely on the fact that o booked a one way to get home from Birmingham. The website said I had booked it and it would be waiting on me. When I got to Birmingham, the counter said national didn’t do one day rentals - which is fine, but please don’t tell me the rental is available while I’m in Amsterdam and then when I get to the USA, find out there are no cars available. That was not a good experience. Granted 2 days of canceled flights didn’t help. I just want you to know so no one else has their car rental canceled and gets stuck like I did.Reviewed 15 Oct 2025
