Budget had no cars when we arrived on time for our pre-paid rental at MSY. After waiting in line with 15 other clients (other vendors had no lines) for over 40 minutes, the agent laughed and said that they had no cars and it might take FOUR HOURS. She had never addressed the line to announce this actionable information so that we could explore other options. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. Worst possible marks for Budget's vehicle scheduling system and agent training and professionalism. Budget hast lost a customer for life.Reviewed 10 Aug 2026

Terrible. They gave a car with faults. On the motorway we almost crashed. Returned the car after just 10 minutes driving and they tried to blame us. Next car was ok but really bad smell. Don't they clean or inspect them? DisgustingReviewed 10 Aug 2026

Car’s engine turned into safety mode and we called support number. This emergency support was very poor, basically not working at all. Long messages in Italian, no feedback if you have got our message, not keeping responsetimes at all. After calling the support line we have no clue if Budget has got the information, what the next step will be, is anyone working on our case etc. After 1h waiting we got a telephone call. We entered all information in the app, but the operator did not have access to this information. Basically unbelievable poor service.Reviewed 10 Aug 2026

The staff was frustrated but friendly. The car type I reserved wasn't available, so they offered me something smaller, but for the same price. The car I ended up with was dirty, smelled bad, was dented and seemed a bit mechanically wonky. It functioned for the rental period. Drop off was a problem. There was nobody at the location (during business hours). Several people were waiting outside the doors. Thirty plus minutes later an employee reappeared. He processed the drop off. While I waited for my ride, I heard him making several phone calls to people, explaining he didn't have the cars available they had reserved. He was friendly, but frustrated. This location is understaffed and their inventory system doesn't seem to be connected to reality. I will not use this location again.Reviewed 8 Aug 2026
