Nice and clean hotel; hotel staff was attentive and kind.
When called to bring more sugar to a room, I was asked to come downstairs to get it.
I love the location, the staff was accommodating and friendly.
I asked for a room far from elevator but got one right next to it. Was never bothered y it though so all good!
Balcony overlooking memorial
Door latch for door to balcony was not working properly.
Excellent location, fantastic views, staff very helpful and informative. First time trip to New York and staff advised what to book, when to book and what to avoid. Really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.
Staff was very nice. Clean for the most part. Needed key to get upstairs which is secure. I liked that.
No remote in the room. And when I finally got it, it couldn’t turn the TV off. Someone had been in the room previously- then decided not to stay. Soap open, tag from something left on desk. I should have switched rooms but was in a rush. Alarm in the AM never went off. The little screen that controlled heat and alarm was way too complicated to learn in 5 mins - and I’m good with electronics. Someone had programmed the heat so I couldn’t change it overnight. Maintenance wasn’t around late at night. All the clocks in the room were ahead by an hour. Huh? View was terrible so if that matters, ask. Breakfast had fruit and coffee. Better than nothing I guess. Only one set of towels. I prefer no cleaning people to come in my room so that mattered to me - especially with no safe in the room and a work computer! No safe! Did not like that. All in all not a bad property. Just little things were off.
