I would have given this hotel a 5-star if they had queen-size beds instead of double beds. We were a family of 4, and my son is over 6 ft tall, so it was a bit of a challenge, but all in all, a great experience. Really impressed with the cleanliness.

Cons (-) Air conditioning/heater was broken. Was 81 degrees in the room. Took 3 different calls to finally get it fixed. Finally got a technician to ‘fix’ it at 12:30am. For $300+ A night I expect better. This is a rundown, older, dirty hotel in a convenient location.

Pros (+) Excellent staff. Nice facilities. Good bar and restaurant.
Cons (-) Parking was a little steep but I suppose it was standard for NYC. I was hoping for a price break using valet, but no such luck.

Pros (+) awesome location, convenient restaurant downstairs, and a great staff.
Cons (-) i didn't like my corner room. It was very hard to get into. Also the tv would stop working every 15 minutes and took a while to fix everytime. Then the thermostat would reset itself to 72 every couple of hours
