Terrible. When I go to pickup the car Nextcar unloads all these hidden fees. They don’t accept the 3rd party car insurance that Kayak sells you so you have to use your own insurance or purchase their which makes buying the insurance from Kayak a waste of money. I’d like a refund of the car insurance I brought from Kayak. It’s also very invasive how they have to check your insurance as they actually have to call your insurance company and asks when your last insurance payment was and when your next payment is. That is absolutely ridiculous. They don’t need to do that. They should need to see your insurance card and that’s it. They then charge another deposit on the car even thought you’ve paid for the call online through Kayak which is absolute bullshit. Taking another deposit is unscrupulous and just trying to bleed people of all their money. Nowhere on Kayak was any of these actions listed. This is just bad business. The car wasn't very clean, there were still rental papers from previous renters. Seats had stains from I assume spilled liquids and floor mats were removed.Reviewed 27 Sept 2023
