Too many hidden fee’s. You can’t buy cover online which is just silly. Absolutely not worth it and will not rent with them again. All the car rental agencies said to stay away from them and with good reason

NextCar is the WORST company I have ever interacted with. There is not a rating low enough to properly grade what a scam and sham this company is. Kayak should be ashamed for using them as a vendor as it reflects extremely poorly on Kayak. What happened: I booked a 4 day rental through Kayak. $152. Seemed straight forward. When I went to pick up the rental they asked if I wanted to use their insurance, I said no, I'll use my own and provided my policy. What was NOT EXPLAINED is that they STILL charge $19.99 PER DAY to use my own insurance! On top of that, their is a $150 "Minor Damage Waiver" fee! WHAT?! These fees and charges were totally unknown and would have been even more expensive to use "their" insurance. So after all the extra fees and charges, what was supposed to be a $152 rental became a $418 rental. Totally insane. Horrible horrible horrible business.

Price was very good, vehicle was roomy. Drop off was different than the other car rentals in that you don’t check out with anyone, you go inside To the counter and drop off the keys.

1. wait for off site shuttle was 45 minutes 2. renting process too another 30 mins 3. Car had 3/4 tank of gas 4. drop off was easy 5. returned car with 3/4 tank of has, got invoiced for 1/4 full charges

I booked a luxury vehicle. They didn’t have a luxury available and instead gave me a full size sonata not the luxury car I paid for. I also had to wait a very long time to pick up the car. Almost one hour process.
