I went to the airport to pick up the car and in the front desk after all the explanations the lady told me that Payless didn’t accept DINERS credit card so I can’t take the reservation and she canceled in that moment. I have to look in the airport another rental car and finally I choose thirty rental car and found a car at the same day.Reviewed 13 Nov 2023

Pros:NO PAYLESS RELOCATED TO A HOTEL AND HAD NO INFORMATION OUT SIDE REGARDING..WE HAD ASKED SEVERAL COMPANIES WHERE THEY WERE LOCATED.Cons:WHERE TO PICK UP THE CAR WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE ...THE CARS WERE CRAPPY HAH TO GET ANOTHER ONE THAT WASNT FALLING APART ALSOAND MORE EXPENSIVE THAN CURACAO THAT HAD BETTER CARSReviewed 15 Dec 2019

Pros:Staff was ultimately accommodating, but not quick to assist.Cons:Firstly, the car was a 2016 and a piece of garbage. The door lock only opened the driver door, rather than all of the doors as it should have. Our car died on the island. We called the service number and they told us 20-30 minutes. An hour later they came, tried a jump start and battery, but to no avail. They said the car needed to be towed, and after a phone call, said they were to take me to the airport to get a replacement. I questioned the drop off point since Payless is offsite. Of course, when they dropped me at the airport, there was no one there. I imposed on the Avis attendant (Avis owns/partners with Payless) to get me a ride to Payless. There they gave me a replacement vehicle. But no one from Payless knew of any of my previous conversations with them during this ordeal. To their credit, they provided me with a courtesy discount for my troubles when I settled my account.... but only after I asked.Reviewed 3 Nov 2019

Cons:High pressure to buy extra insurance even though I kept telling her our credit card covered it. We ended up paying for it. Also the air conditioning did not work well, we were miserable driving around.Reviewed 8 Sept 2019

Pros:Staff was rude when we encountered issue. The car has a cockroach infestation and we had to seek alternative method of transportation as we cannot use the vehicule. We also had to waste time to deal with an exchange.Cons:Cleaner car, better customer service.Reviewed 5 Feb 2019

Pros:Drop off went smoothly. Price was good.Cons:Payless was listed as being on airport. This was false. We didn’t see a Payless sign on any of the car rental places in Aruba and started asking around. We were directed to Avis, who called Payless to come pick us up.
