Ran out of cars despite having a reservation. Had to wait over an hour. Staff were not very polite and car had dirt all over back seat. Drop off was simple which was the best part of the whole experience.

They didn't even have a car available and I booked three days prior. I didn't even get a call saying that one wasn't going to be available. And the kicker they still charged me for nothing and so I have had to deal we with that as well.

They canceled my rental without communicating. When I arrived they wouldn't rent me a new vehicle. Completely changed my vacation plans and made things more difficult.

They didn’t have any cars to give us, and their “system was down”. The only redeeming thing was that the location refunded me several days later after I called to cancel. But even that wasn’t a sure thing for several days.

The Payless location is small (being remodeled so messy) and not too attractive. They will require you to show proper insurance coverage (both collision/damage and 3rd party accident "SLI" coverage) which I had and brought proof from my policy, or they will pressure you into taking their insurance (which can be quite expensive). Overall the process of getting a car was fairly quick and efficient, and early morning return was also fairly quick, although we had to wait about 20 minutes for the airport shuttle to arrive.
