SixT best bang for the buckPros:Cheap price and no wait. Because SixT is less well known than the others, the lines for pick up were atrocious at Hertz, Avis, etc but non-existent at SixT. Mildly slick attempt at getting us to choose un-needed insurance (aren't they all?) but otherwise super-attentive service. No prob with the car at all. Drop off was a breeze.Cons:A couple of dents in the car not documented at pick-up - we had to note these and have them write then down before we took off with the vehicle.Reviewed 6 Sep 2017

Charged for a service that was never providedPros:NOTHINGCons:After charging me online for the car rental, Sixt informed us at the airport that they did not accept debit cards. The lady handed me a brochure to call customer care and ask about our refund. The person I spoke with over the phone said that I would have to submit something in an email with the request. I sent an email explaining what happened and that I wanted a refund of the money they accepted (from my debit card). Their response never acknowledged my refund request and instead shared their debit card policy. I still have not received a refund for a service that was never provided. I would also like to mention that the person at the counter said no one at the airport accepted debit cards, but we went one counter down and they happily accepted our form of payment. Never using this company - horrible customer service in person, over the phone and via email.Reviewed 27 Jun 2017

Systems were downPros:The carCons:The 30 minutes it took to get the car. Having your employee saying both my credit cards were no good when it was your system that was down. Hearing from the gate attendant that your system is down more often than not. Waiting in a cold parking lot instead of being at the desk in the main section except no one was there with a little sign saying to go to the parking king ramp for service. Having 4 employees in the little shack but only 1 employee manually helping the long line of pissed off costomers. LAX drop off was completely different.
