Staff was very friendly and helpful, vehicle was not in good condition. The “needs oil” light was on, the rear right brake light and turn signal did not work which made it very stressful and dangerous to be driving especially at night in extremely heavy traffic thru Los Angeles. Trying to change lanes without a working blinker was very stressful and dangerous especially with a vehicle of this size (12 passenger van ). picking up the vehicle at san jose airport took more than 20 minutes. There was only on attendant and there were no cars in the class I had booked. Ended up driving a pickup truck instead of a compact car. Gas cost was an issue. Upon arriving at the one way drop off location, I ended up in the parking lot of a shopping mall with no directions as to where to drop the car. Spent another 20 minutes on the phone being shuttled through the same two automated phone systems over and over again, Finally drove to vehicle to the local airport rental car return center. There I was advised there would be a $50 fee for dropping off at the wrong location. I asked the attendant for directions as to where to drop the car at the mall address that was given. Neither he or three other attendants were able to provide directions as to where and how to drop the vehicle at the designated location. After some discussion with the manager they agreed to drop the $50 fee and accept the vehicle at that location. When I received the final invoice there was nearly $45 in additional service fees that were not indicated on the initial rental contract.. Thoroughly disappointed with the entire rental service. Will NEVER rent from budget again. Please pass this along to Budget as well. Dissatisfied Customer....Reviewed 12 Oct 2023
