The location is good - very close to the M6 and with a well-stocked service station shop nearby.

Unfortunately this hotel is very dated, particularly the bedroom furniture. The mattress was extremely lumpy and when mentioning this to the receptionist it seems this is a known problem at this hotel. The room was also rather cold and the heating didn't seem to work properly.

Simple, to the point and efficient. Clean, welcoming and helpful. Perfect for a short stop-over beisde the motorway. Not 5 star, but certainly not 1 star either. What it says on the tin. Recomended for mianly stopovers, ... and maybe even a little longer.

Shame food is not included in the great price. The discount is better than nothing though (essentially 10%)

£4 per hour for internet and only available in bar/took 1 hour to connect. No shampoo or hairdryer in room. Lights not working. Parking not available until 21.30 as priority given to function not guests.

Staff was excellent, very helpful. Walking distance to Britannia. A good value for what it was, breakfast was adequate.

I would think most of their customer base are football fans, so not to have sports channels in the rooms or at least in the lobby is a service they are missing.

Room was excellent - large, clean and comfortable. Adjacent pub had really friendly staff and excellent food both at dinner and breakfast - a real find, would definitley return

Very efficent booking online and everything confirmed well and reception staff were very efficient explaining breakfast, eating establishments and directions etc.

Could do with toiletries in the room, bar of soap, flannel etc.

Hot tap water - too hot - suggest limiter to avoid scalding by old and young and also to save resources. Door handle on ensuite came off! Very slow service in restaurant Saturday evening and breakfast Sunday - good meals when received.

Staff amazingly friendly; exceptionally clean and well equipped room; lovely shopping area on the site.

The toilet door is not really appropriate...frosted glass with no lock or seal...not everyone wants to share or hear toilet sounds!

The resturant had a good menue to select from, and the prices were well set so that you did not feel you were suplementing the reasonable room pric.

The glass doored toilet/shower room may not be to everyones taste, though as a spectical I enjoyed it.

Convenience of location

Accommodation very tired, needs a good freshening up; breakfast not starting till 7.30 is late for business clients with 8am starts elsewhere; expensive when breakfast not included given the standard of the accommodation.

Spacious room with all you needed. The breakfast was very good except for the lack of marmalade and the a.m. service was helpful and friendly..

No staff on reception on arrival. When we found someone from the bar he was not very informative. Temperature was hot in some areas, cool in others.

the hotel was fantastic, it was clean and spacious and ideally located for motorway access. it was in close poximaty to alton towers (its just a 30 odd minute drive away). the staff were very friendly and proffesional and we could not fault our stay . the hotel has its own pool which can be used by guests at no extra cost, however directly across from the hotel is an indoor pool facility called water world.this hotel definetlyl deserves its four star rating.

We stayed Bed and Breakfast and the breakfast was wonderful. Very good value for money. Also, the room was very comfortable and nicely furnished.

We didn't have any complaints at all about our stay. It was very pleasant and comfortable.
