The value for the money was good. No frills, but in an excellent neighborhood and the private bathroom was nice. Other hotels at a more expensive pricepoint had shared bathrooms.

Pros (+) Several decent restaurants, a food store and train (subway) within ten minutes easy walking distance, (buy refillable card for train) Responsive Staff, clean comfortably-sized rooms and bed. Ample $13 breakfast.
Cons (-) Weak Internet in room, strong in Lobby. Smell upon entering room, barely noticeable afterwards. May be cleaning chemicals?

Cons (-) I didn't like how close the toilet was to the tub, It should have been turned toward the door for more leg room!
