Pros: upgraded to the 'big' room with bathtub (with jets) in the room, it was nice, quieter than I would've expected being right next to the highway, but super easy to get around from, good breakfast.
Cons: not much, our room was on the end, so easy access to the stairs, everything was great.
Pros: Free breakfast; reasonable room rates
Pros: Handsome clean rooms with crisp fresh white sheets and a comfortable bed. Four of us stayed four nights comfortably in one room.

Pros: Loved the grounds, food and the rooms were impressive. Can't wait to go back.
Cons: Got a great price deal on Kayak -without the discounts the rooms are way over priced.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable. Check in and check out were efficient and brief. The waffles and oatmeal were good.
Cons: The breakfast was underwhelming. The hot food was gross and the bagels/breads were stale. The hot tub wasn't hot and there were no towels by the pool. I think I over paid for what we got. I think I'll try across the street next time.
Pros: Overall everything was great, I use to live in the area & for last minute reservations for New Year's Eve night with a 3 month old the acommendations were perfect.
Cons: We checked in about 5:30pm New Year's Eve, just walked right up to the desk. 2 young ladies were behind the counter & immediately let me know they would be right with me. One was Showing the other how to do something, when another employee walked in behind the desk & was told "oh you can help her" she was very rude when she helped me not even a hello, have a nice night you can tell she didn't want to be there.
Pros: Cleanliness, staff friendliness, overall good breakfast. Next night we stayed at a Hilton in Monterey and the rooms were small, terrible carpet, and too expensive
Cons: Did not enjoy driving through parking lot to get to hotel. Should have easy access offa main road
Pros: Convenient to freeway, gas station, Walgreens, and casual restaurants. Breakfast was good, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, hot coffee, etc. every morning plus the "to-go" brown bag breakfasts are available for those in a hurry. The bed was super comfortable.
Cons: Not as clean as other Hampton Inns I have stayed at and the front desk usually only had one person who was on the phone most of the time. The hotel faces the freeway, the traffic noise was very loud. There were no lights on in the parking lot the first night; it was really dark and creepy getting to my car! I was there for three days and there was the same little pile of what looked like paper bits and crumbs on the floor by the elevators the entire time. The hall carpets are very stained EVERYWHERE. The tops of the lights by the bed, picture frames, baseboards, top of the headboard, back edge of the desk were all dusty, there was mineral buildup all along the bottom of the shower door and it was obvious that vacuuming between the furniture was not done regularly. The entire hotel gave the impression that they are short staffed so cut corners on service and cleanliness.
Pros: Cleanliness of the room
Brightness of the room
A/C control was very accurate
Seating area and desk
Cons: The bed was a little hard
Couch was a little hard to sit on
Pros: Staff were friendly. The place was clean. Nice kitchen! 2 flat screen TVs. Good break. Dinner was good. Very close to 101. Quiet location. I definitely would stay there.
Cons: Not a thing!

Pros: the lady at check in was very friendly and quick. the room was clean & beautiful. there was lots to do around the area. i would definitely come back. thank you!
Pros: I liked the fact that the room had a small fridge & microwave to keep the kids waters cold for their soccer tournament the next morning and that breakfast was an option downstairs before our big day
Pros: Room was stylish and clean. Great location, close to freeway, markets and dining. Housekeeping staff were polite and friendly.
Cons: Person who checked us in was unfriendly and unhelpful. Not good qualities for the person who has contact with guests.

Pros: The beds

Cons: I stayed the night before at the Wynn in 'Vegas then had meetings near the Westlake Village Hyatt. Although the room was clean, it was dated and I was given a room that seemed much more like a jail cell with a small window set into the wall that was 2 feet sunk into the wall. Bad Room!
Pros: location was great
Cons: room was not what I made reservations for. I made two reservations for me and a co-worker for 2 king rooms. 1 room was fine, the other room was an ADA room on the first floor with two queen beds that had not been cleaned. The shower still had residue so I asked to be moved to a different room. Second room was part of an adjoining room where the deadbolt did not work and it was still an ADA room and the beds were on the floor.
Pros: Great location
New fitness equipment
Cons: Room not clean upon arrival (hair on pillows, bath floor and tub)
Staff not friendly
Thermostat didn't regulate room temp well
Pros: Staff was attentive!
Pros: Check in/check out was easy. We were greeted by staff on entering and leaving every time. The food and service at the restaurant and bar were good. The room was attractive, well-appointed and comfortable in typical Hyatt fashion. TV was high quality HD flat screen with digital access. Hotel had convenient access to/from the 101 freeway.
Cons: The room overall was very clean, except under the desk, where little scraps of wire and dust balls indicated it had not been vacuumed in some time. Like a lot of older properties, plugs for iPads and phones were not convenient. Sockets on lamp bases would not accommodate chargers and there were no extra sockets around the desk (hence, my discovery of the detritus). Furnishings in the lobby area were sparse and austere. Clearly, you're not being invited to hang around the lobby and read.
Located between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, the Hyatt Regency Westlake offers travelers an escape from big city hotels. Mediterranean style architecture lends a feeling of a resort ambiance in a professional business environment.
Pros: Amazing breakfast included! Staff very friendly. Clean and wuiet with a great location.
Pros: Loved the pool, hot tub, and hot breakfast!
Cons: Bathroom didn't have a fan and the water from the sink took a long time to drain.
Pros: Clean, quiet, well-appointed room. Fitness center, pool, mini putting green, oversized chess board, garden area, wifi, breakfast, drink tickets at Brendan's, all included for a great price! It's such a great value, especially with little ones.
Cons: The exterior and room decor is a little dated, maybe a little worn.
Pros: The hotel itself is nice for the price, but management charge me two separate $50 holds, $139 for no reason and $150 for a smoking fee because the fire alarm was missing. I don't even smoke! I booked through HOTELS.com and they still charged me f$139 or the room upon arrival without my knowledge. What's going on here???
Pros: Price was reasonnable
Room was clean
Cons: Toilet flush was broken
Breakfast until 9:30 only
Quite noisy in the morning
Pros: We enjoyed the beautiful grounds
Cons: The room service through the restaurant was poor. Or food took 1.5 hours, was cold, and the burger was undercooked
Cons: Walls weren't thick enough you can hear everything from people talking next door in the hallway and even when someone turns on the shower. Long drive from Disney land and Universal.
Pros: Price for room was very reasonable and It was very clean, staff friendly and very helpful.
Pros: It was further away from the road so there was little road noise. I also liked the big fridges.
Cons: Our first room smelled strongly of smoke. Our second room did not have a working AC. Our third room was decent. The walls are really thin so you can hear your neighbors, even if they are just talking quietly. Breakfast was a joke.
Cons: was over priced for what it was. Staff could not direct me to a nice restraint. Noisy. Cheap
Pros: clean outside area with pool, BBQ, lawn
Cons: extremely loud fridge in the room, very crowded breakfast place
Pros: I loved how pet friendly it was and how lovely the staff was.
Pros: The rooms were quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The 'market' was very limited and some items had expired dates.
I like hotel with kitchen suite and might come to stay again, but hope the situation of sold out pre-booked room will never happen again.
Pros: The hotel is clean. The room I stayed is bit small but comfortable and have a full kitchen.
Cons: I booked in May 2014 for a King-size bed room, but when I checked in on July 12 night, i was told the King-size bed was sold out. Then frontdesk staff gave a queen-size bed room for me/my wife and kid. I was confused why the pre-booked room be soldout.
Pros: Said they were Pet Friendly, which they were, but it was a $100 charge in addition to the room which was a little over $100.
Cons: see above, we cancelled and got another rm with a reasonable charge 1 block away.
The breakfast is plentiful with a wide variety of choices. The employees were all very helpful and personable. I honestly cannot wait to take another trip so I can stay here again. It was a relaxing getaway.
Pros: The hotel smells clean and fresh, unlike many hotels I've stayed in before. The large refrigerator came in handy; staying three days with five children costs a lot to eat out for every meal. I got food from the Vons next door and made my own food.
Cons: The pullout bed in the king suit was not comfortable at all.
Cons: Cat smell overwhelmed the room. Front office did not return phone call after leaving message. Had to return in the middle of the day moving my Mom to change rooms. Highly inconvenient and no resolution on site.
Pros: I asked for early check-in and they accommodated my request
Cons: hotel could use an aesthetic update.
Pros: Very close to everything that we enjoy.
Cons: No gym. You have to drive to another location.
Pros: Controlled parking
Cons: Needs updated toilets, fan for bathroom. Receptionist was just ok. Italian restaurant attached to hotel was too expensive and not very good. It would be better if they were separate so I wouldn't have to associate the restaurant with the hotel.
Cons: There was a smell in the bathroom including the lobby
Pros: The rooms are small and it seemed like a very inexperienced person tried to update the room and bathroom. The walls were dirty in some places, and someone may have used the wrong type of paint to touch up the walls, which made it look like there were greasy marks in some places. I didn't feel safe there, for some reason. It's not very inviting. Also, when I was trying to check out in the morning, the lady was on a personal call and I had to wait for a couple minutes it seemed, before she decided to end the call to help me. I also would have appreciated more information from the nice people working the night before when I had checked in, like where the best place to park would have been for my room. Since they never told me anything about the layout, I just figured that I would find 1 main entrance, but that wasn't the case. We ended up parking in the back of the building, hauling our luggage up to the 3rd floor, just to find that our room was in the very front of the building.
Pros: The restaurant staff/food was excellent plus the breakfast voucher was quite generous. Although they did not have a fitness room, they had an exchange/agreement with nearby Gold's Gym that was complimentary - no charge within walking distance. This was a huge personnel plus.
And, the pool was very nice, the rooms were private, quiet and very comfortable.
Pros: Easy to get in and out, great location. Balcony in room, could leave open. Breakfast that was offered for free was good. Ac worked great, but had door open for air. Would denfinitly stay there again.
Cons: Very close to expressway, room facing it, a little loud with balcony door open, but fine closed. Smokers from below, had smoke coming into room with balcony door open.
Pros: Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable. WiFi signal was strong. It was a decent place to stay. Breakfast was good, standard motel food. It is an older place and shows some signs of age on the outside of the building and in the hallways.
Pros: This is a modest hotel, well maintained, clean and simple. Grand bathroom vanity, with good lighting ing the bathroom, quiet vent, clean shower. Comfy bed. The continental breakfast includes good coffee, fresh fruit, oatmeal packs including plain. The courtyard is very pleasantly landscaped with green and flowers, and we saw several people sitting out at their tables, on their 1st floor patios, and in the charming gazebo.
It's a well run, well maintained motel style inn with courteous professional staff.
Cons: I'm an ex-smoker, and so when smoke drifts up toward the stairwell, to the second floor, from the courtyard patios where guests are allowed to smoke, it bothers me. the occasional smokers will sit on their patios and smoke and that dampers the pleasure of the stroll through the courtyard. I don't like the smell and don't want to breathe it.
Cons: The room smelled terrible, we had to spray body spray to fall asleep. Then someone was smokinh in the room next to us and and it was coming in our room. You have to bend down to take a shower, the shower head only reached my shoulders. I'm only 5'9. The sheets were very old and rough.
Cons: No coffee in the room.
Ice only at the office
Cons: Hair in shower and A/C not working properly. The A/C only blew ambient air. I was told that was normal, because of the outside air temperature and to Thur the A/C off/open the window, if I wanted cool air in my room. Wrong answer!
Cons: At least there's a good bar called Cronies close by to go and drown your sorrows for staying at such a dump
Pros: I couldn't believe they charged my card before I even got there. Then when I got too tired to drive anymore they wouldn't refund my money
Pros: This location has new , clean rooms. For the price, you can't beat it. Friendly staff.
Cons: The bed was so-so. Extra cost for wi-fi. Low water pressure.
Pros: Great size pool for young children. The landscaping was very beautiful.
Cons: They wouldn't let me do an early check-in. Had to wait around with a 3 year old, and a 9 year old for 2 and 1/2 half hours before being able to check-in after 3pm.
Pros: the room was clean and decorated in a sleek euro style with efficient use of space and aesthetically pleasing details. we got a good nights sleep - all we needed.
Cons: bare bones amenities including skimpy rough towels, tiny bars of soap and that was it. one vending area. deteriorating stairs. check in process seemed to assume we were potential rowdies or criminals.
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: Very basic amenities. Bed uncomfortable.
Pros: Quite place
Cons: Showers 2 short but good
Pros: You get what you pay for and that's what you receive here. You will get your money's worth and more. Pleasantly surprised. I would stay here again without hesitation!
Motel 6 Thousand Oaks, CA is located within walking distance to area restaurants. Shopping malls are nearby. California's beaches are only 21 miles. Relax in our outdoor pool. Wi-Fi is available in all of our modern guest rooms for a small fee.
Pros: Location of Hotel was good. There was sufficient parking at a times. Room was clean and everything seem to work. Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The pillows were not comfotable, they went flat very fast. The bedding seemed old. Needs to be replaced. There were some old stains on the bedding.
Pros: Went and talked to Moises at front desk in morning. EXTREMELY accommodating and went out of his way to find us a clean NON smoking room. His customer service went above and beyond!
Cons: We booked a room in advance, called and confirmed late arrival. Got there at midnight after 7 hour drive. Gave us a smoking room. Wife has asthma so bad and she could hardly breathe. I'm on a Capp machine and the nicotine came through my mask. Smoke just in everything. Pillows, towels. Room filthy dirty, burn marks from cigarettes, everything had yellow on it, only sheets, had to pin together a covering for Windows. Absolutely worst experience ever! I will never stay at this hotel EVER again. Called front desk and he said only available room, can't help. Not what we needed to hear! Wife was up wheezing most of the night. We actually feel we should be credited for our first night.
Pros: Mini fridge and.microwave was a huge plus
Cons: Spa wasnt working...
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. Lot's of pillows, and the bed was just right. Breakfast offered healthy and less healthy options. Right off the frwy. between LA and Ventura counties.
Cons: Front office staff could have been friendlier. At least look up and say hello or good morning when someone walks in?
Cons: The room smelled of body odor. The hotel was sold out so we couldn't change rooms.
Pros: The staff is wonderful. The rooms are clean & the grounds are beautiful and quiet. The front desk is efficient and well organized. The entire staff is helpful and knowledgeable should you have questions or a request. We are always treated with Sincere respect and kindness and made to feel valued and at home. Thank you Newbury LaQuinta
Pros: Excellent customer service, clean room, extremely comfortable bed, a great full breakfast, free fast Internet, elevator, and they have a pool. Room had a large TV, microwave, refrigerator, and an ironing board and iron. Beautiful landscaping. Great room for the cheap price. We will gladly stay here again!
Cons: very dirty
shady people staying
not friendly hotel staff
Pros: Some of the staff were very courteous and attentive, responding to questions and assistance I needed, and very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, quite a bit better than some other places I've stayed in the area, as well as a nice size. There is fantastic access to restaurants in the area and the Premier Inn itself is very easy to find. I quite liked having a selection of places to eat within walking distance.
Cons: Had an issue with neighbors playing loud music and after I called the front desk to have them turn it down, they retaliated by pounding on my door and running off in the middle of the night. Not the fault of the staff, but still annoying and a bit alarming. I requested a fridge and microwave in my room when I booked online, but did not get either. I wasn't notified at all that I wouldn't get one ahead of checking in and when I did find out upon check in, the man at the front desk told me that fridges and microwaves are only available in certain rooms. There are no further explanation or offer to be moved to a room with a fridge and microwave. I'm not sure why some rooms would have it and some not, since there was plenty of space in my room to accommodate a mini fridge and small microwave.
Pros: Liked nothing.
Cons: Staff was very rude. Only one outlet worked. Bathtub had a hole in it covered by a thin piece of plastic....thought I would fall through it. Room pictures provided on website look a lot better than the actual accommodations. I do not recommend.
Cons: All around horrible don't make the mistake I did
Pros: The price is right
Cons: All the rooms even the non smoke rooms smelled like smoke. A few people asked to switch rooms but all rooms were booked so we were stuck with the rooms.
Pros: Good location for what i needed. 45 min north of LAX which could be 1.5 hours in peak traffic.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Older facility right on interstate 101. A bit loud and run down but served its purpose for an inexpensive place to stay.
Cons: Completely awful. Roach in hotel room (others said the same-I guess we got lucky and only saw 1), lights went out through the outside of the whole hotel-a lawsuit waiting to happen once someone falls down the stairs, mildew on walls in bathroom, stained towels, powder on floor-(treated for bed bugs?). Save your money and go elsewhere.
Cons: The whole place was filthy and reaked. I would not stay again
Pros: The pool and spa
Cons: The room was bare. No clock, no hair blow dryer, no bar soap. I am very surprised it was given a 3 star rating. We will never stay there again.
Cons: The smell of our room was atrocious. Like urine in a nursing home. This hotel is for extended stay on a poor budget. The clientele reflects the hotel. The price was cheap and reflected in the product. Only stay here is it is your only monetary option!
Pros: It was right off the freeway.
Cons: I had to kill 2 roaches, found cigarette burns in the sheets of my nonsmoking room which smelled like stale smoke, the mini fridge did not work, there were stains on the walls & ceilings and the carpet was sticky. We checked in late, slept in our clothes, and immediately left when we got up the next morning. It was pretty gross.
Cons: Didn't like that there were no deadbolts on the doors, I defiantly didn't feel safe and secure.
Enjoy your visit to Thousand Oaks with a stay at Premier Inns Thousand Oaks. You can get a morning swim in at the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day.
Cons: Parking , the fact that people live there oh and the fact the cops showed up because drugs
Cons: Everything. We booked for one night. But when we came after mid night we saw that room , sheets, bath were very dirty and stains were everywhere. We reject to stay and prefer to sleep in the car because it was Saturday night and all hotels around were fully booked. After our complaints night manager offered to reimburse us which we still didn't receive yet.
Pros: Cheap Rate. Good A/C
Cons: Dirty bathroom, Mold in shower. Shower head too low.
Pros: location near highway, close to shopping malls and stuff like that
Cons: quite loud, shower isn't that clean
Pros: Everything was clean.
Cons: No weather stepping on bottom of doors. Made the night very cold even with the heater on.
