We upgraded the car to a Land Cruiser with diesel engine. The fuel tank wasn’t full at the time of pickup. The the engine had warning message “add AdBlue, engine will not start after 2500 km” , quickly it came down to 400km after just about 500km driving. We first added 4L of AdBlue, but the message didn’t go away and km kept going down. We added another 4L, and the message finally went away. I emailed to the service center. The representative responded fast and promised the reimbursement of the AdBlue. With the email, I was able to get the reimbursement. Not every gas station had AdBlue. Keeping worrying about the engine not going to start is not a good experience. The rental representative promised we had enough AdBlue for the rental period at pickup.Reviewed 16 Aug 2025

I went there and they said my reservation was wrong. They did not receive my reservation and they do not have the car for 6 persons. They suggested to go other car rental companies. I paid there twice of itReviewed 23 Nov 2024

The van was perfect for our group and customer service was excellent. We got stuck along the road in soft wet earth and they responded promptly with with a tow. (It happens in Iceland.)Reviewed 12 Aug 2024

Our reservation (which I have a confirmed email for with a confirmation number for) was not sent to the Thrifty. The person checking out and I both looked at the email, but there was no record of it. Super fun!Reviewed 14 Jun 2024
