The hostel offers events, like local pub tours or meet ups, which is a good way to meet locals and other travellers and learn about Japanese culture.
Cons: The only thing that I can think of would be more shelves, hooks and hangers in the rooms, because they are rather small and this would help to cope with limited space.

Pros: Very social hostel, incredibly fun. The location however isn't very optimal, especially for first time travelers in Tokyo.

Pros: Staff are nice
Cons: The common area on 2/F is a bit dirty, especially the pantry area.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Location is really great, easy to get the train station, and not crowded. The staff is so friendly. Breakfast is also good.
Cons: The was a big group of tourists making very noisy in the late night time.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was unbeatable, we had no idea this place was so accessible when we booked it. Direct train to airport, Shinjuku, and even our day trips out to Kamakura and Yokohama. We could walk to Akihabara easily too. Staff were super friendly as well. Facilities looked fresh and modern, and bed size was quite spacious. Showers had shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which was amazing^^
Cons: One major problem was roommates acting like it was a marketplace in the dormitory. I had to shift to another dorm to get some decent sleep (thank you staff for being accommodating). Perhaps a sign can be put up to ensure people don't talk in the dorm? Another problem was that the pillows were uncomfortable.. really bad for the neck and shoulders after 6 nights. Bedside ventilation was not working, but you can rent minifans from the counter for free (I was here during the heatwave, so they were out of stock until my last night).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff, 24h reception, very clean, nice atmosphere, cool workshops in the lobby, silent sleeping rooms
Cons:
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good at every aspects of hostel services. The buffet breakfast tasted good too.
Cons: Not really any. Actually, there is a very precise guide with rules, information and floor plan. However, when I was inside the room, I could hardly find the locker room because the sliding door looked as if a wall and the floor plan indicated it should be a door pushing/pulling in/out. So, I was little bit confused at first.

Pros: I loved the goemon bath upstairs and that you could secure your suitcase right outside your capsule for easy access if you needed something. Also the kitchen space was really good.
Cons: Was sometimes a bit noisy in the capsules especially if guests were packing their suitcases outside.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The environment was nice and clean. There was a chain near the bed to keep your luggage from going anywhere. The bed was a good size. There was a cabinet that locked with a key which was useful for storing things of importance or clothes for the next day. The neighborhood was quiet and it's a good walking distance to both stations and Sensou-ji.
Cons: Staying in the top capsule was a pain if I forgot something or was tired. The walkways were a bit narrow so it was tough packing without being in someone's way. There were a pair of holes in the wall of my capsule; it didn't lead anywhere, but it was strange.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is convenient and very helpful staff
Cons: None
6.0 Good
Pros: The price was fair, and the location was great.
Cons: I asked the hostel for two bunk beds AWAY from the bathrooms, and the hostel agreed. Then, my upper and lower bunk beds were right next to the bathrooms. WTH, I thought. Well, anyway, we stayed for only one night, and no need to make a fuss about it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the cleanliness of the rooms.
Cons: Nothing...
5.0 Okay
Pros: nice location, nice building, nice equipement
Cons: thiis is not the fault of the hostel but there was some unrespectful tourists
6.0 Good
Pros: Close to Asakusa tourist spots and train stations
Cons: It's an ok pod hotel and if it's your first time in a pod hotel you will have a good experience but there are better pod hotels out there. Full of tourists from all over the world with their own unique bad manners. You should definitely consider a more 'unpopular' pod hotel so you'll have more polite Japanese people occupying
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: My husband's bed and mine had bedbugs. When I toId them, they were not even surprised or apologised. The dormitories have too many people around 40 I'd say, so it can get noisy with people packing and unpacking as you have to leave your bags in the room (No locker)

Pros: The location is excellent - close to a railway station and to shops for groceries. The common eating area is well equipped for self-catering, and during our stay was clean and most of the other guests cleaned up after themselves (but there is always one, isn't there?). We met some interesting people there during our breakfast and dinners. The people at reception were helpful and friendly. There's vending machines in the lobby for drinks including beer at close to supermarket prices, though an excellent mini-mart is literally within 50 m of the front door. Wi-fi was excellent in our room. Coin operated washing machines and dryer available, 200 yen for wash, 100 yen for 30 min of drying. We had a small bar fridge.

Pros: The place was seemingly clean and the staff was friendly. The staff in the front desk immediately replaced my bedding when I informed them of the bed bugs on my first night.
Cons: I was able to catch and kill a total of 7 bed bugs on the first night of my stay. I thought that was it, I was wrong. I got tons of bite marks all over my body when I got home in the Philippines.

Pros: The room and facility are clean, and you got your personal space with a little door and lock. The corridor in the room is big enough for me to open my 29inch luggage. Many restaurants are nearby and you can finish your meal with various choices.
Cons: The subway station for train to/from Narita Airport is a little bit far away (especially you carry huge luggage with you that you need to find an evaluator). Moreover, my roommate usually backed to room at midnight which I found a little bit annoyed that my sleep was not that great. Overall, the price definitely compensate these cons. Just you need to aware of these points when you book this hostel and your experience would be great!

Pros: Came to check-in late and was welcomed with great smiles and a warm service of the two receptionists. The hostel is just fine for its price. Pros: The owners, husband and wife team, were super friendly. They actually helped us planned our entire 8 days in Tokyo to maximize our time there, including taking into account of the weather. The guest house was closed to a JR station (3 mins walk) and the Tokyo (11 mins walk). A seven eleven is 3 mins walk with many restaurants available (especially around the Metro station). The facilities was really clean n it honestly gave us the feeling of home. This is a gem especially with the high prices of lodging for Tokyo. We were also allowed to use their kitchen, which was a convenience since i like to have my coffee to get my day going. So don't walk, run and book this place, you won't regret it.

Pros: Very nice experience staying in a Japanese style room. The place is mega close to Asakusa touristic sites and a stone throw away from Don Quijote. There are a few halal restaurants too if you’re a muslim. The closest station is Tawaramachi (5-7 minute walk), on Ginza subway line, which is aligned with Ginza, Ueno, and Akihabara. Cons: Shower temperature was acting up and kept changing. Dining room is too small for that amount of people, especially in the morning it's very crowded. Free breakfast was quickly gone. The toilets smelled a lot and the whole place seemed a bit run down already. There were also no curtains which made it difficult to sleep because people had their light on until late at night
9.0 Excellent
Pros: the kitchen and dining facility was very useful. rooms were clean, staff were cordial. overall value for money. offering breakfast for the guest is appreciated.
Cons:
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, different type of rooms
Cons:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice experience staying in a Japanese style room. The place is mega close to Asakusa touristic sites and a stone throw away from Don Quijote. There are a few halal restaurants too if you’re a muslim. The closest station is Tawaramachi (5-7 minute walk), on Ginza subway line, which is aligned with Ginza, Ueno, and Akihabara. Konbinis such as Lawson, Mini Stop, and Family Mart are less than 5 minute walk away.
Cons: I truly enjoyed my stay :)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good services.. thank you very much.
Cons: No clean room very day (Total my group stay 5 nights)
