Pros: Location and to a point the car park.
Cons: Evening dinner service appalling. Parking spaces far too small. Of the 4 nights one of the days the room was not cleaned or serviced at all. Bar service not good. Breakfast in consistent.
7.0 Good
Pros: The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient. The decor is great and the hotel is very clean.
Cons: The room was very small and dark, Breakfast was good, the coffee was terrible. Tables very close together in restaurant. Not much space to relax in.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautifully decorated.Breakfast choice and quality is excellent.Views from restaurant are lovely. Bed very comfortable
Cons: Our bedroom was small which I was a bit disappointed about.I did book a sea view room which we did have but I will be more careful in future as the size of the room spoilt it a bit for me.It only had one chair and I did feel that was a bit strange ,another one would have fitted even though the room was small the design of the one chair available was compact.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was magnificent. The beds are really comfy and good clean bedding. The staff very helpful and friendly. Overall a very very good and happy experience. Highly recommended and would definitely revisit again.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very clean and comfortable, lovely views over the harbour from the main restaurant
Cons: I was a little disappointed that my parents had gone back to this hotel where they had their honeymoon to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary, staying for a week & there wasn’t even a small token to acknowledge the event. I know they don’t have to but just a small glass of fizz would have been nice.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, beautiful beech on your doorstep and has the typical YHA friendly atmosphere.
Cons: It's quite an old building so it's loud when people are moving around. We were in a room below a family and it was very noisy whilst they were moving around, and the doors banging were also loud so this kept us up until everyone had gone to bed. There's just one main lounge room for the evening, so if there's a big group staying then they pretty much take it up! And no board games or other games that we could find.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great vibe and excellent location
Cons: I arrived after dark and had a mission to find it. Better signs needed but once I found it, it was fine!

Pros: Everything. The whole set up is very impressive, modern, spacious and comfortable. The "full English" was help yourself and that was a good start to the day. (We are deer watchers not golfers). We would like to stay again to visit the coast and beaches.
Cons: I cannot think of any problems at all... the weather was awful but the apartment was lovely and warm. Most of the guests were golfers but they were chatty as they set out in the rain.... we were there in the winter. I imagine the Padstow area and narrow roads might be a nightmare in the summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent apartment, spotless, spacious. 10/10. The sea view from the ground floor has the car park in the way but you can see the sea

Pros: The building feels very modern and fresh but is also decorated in way that makes it feel very homely. Room was extremely comfortable and well appointed with lots of nice little touches that help put your stay above the average B&B experience, and the breakfast area has a fantastic view across the water. Free parking is very useful and the location is just a few minutes walk from the town centre. As a light sleeper I also appreciated how peaceful it was, with zero noise from other guests or the surrounding area. Last but not least, you couldn't ask for better hosts - really friendly and helpful, excellent local knowledge, and serving a sublime breakfast! They've clearly worked very hard to make a stay at Tor View as good as it gets.

But you'll find parking within a 10 min walk from hotel in a worse-case scenario.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely view of the harbour, very central, nice big bed
Cons: The parking process was related to us verbally as it was 'very straightforward' but actually it would have been better to have had written instructions as there was quite a lot to remember for someone doing it for the first time.

Pros: Everything about this trip was fantastic. I couldn’t recommend it more to family and friends. Hotel was spectacular in decor and grandeur and cleanliness. The room was spacious and bright, plenty of room and all of the bonus little things you’d expect from a high end hotel. Robes, hair dryer, posh coffee pod machine, two TVs, radio, Bluetooth speakers. Bed was huge and very comfy. The staff were more than accommodating and the food was 5*. Cocktails especially good. Spa was fantastic, hot tub sauna steam room, posh spa lighting, felt very special. Location was fantastic, walking distance to town shops beach etc, no need for a car. Would come back here again in a heartbeat! The perfect luxury beach mini break we needed. Feel very spoilt! Thank you to all at Headland from us.

Pros: Everything from start to finish
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Better than expected. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room cleaned to high standard every day.
Cons: Nothing, everything just right.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just being looked after ,for a couple of days.
Cons: This isn't a complaint, but we both thought it would have been nice to have been served breakfast at our table, instead of having to queue, considering its 5 star. However, this didn't spoil anything .
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice relaxed atmosphere. My son's wedding was very well organised. Although I was expecting an internal room, I had a lovely sea view(Room 208). Thank you.
Cons: I was offered Turn down and fudge, but it never appeared - same for a number of people in our party. Seems like poor organisation. Sometimes the staff on in the dining room for breakfast were a little slow to replenish. One day no mushrooms, another no bacon. Sometimes when ordering from the bar, there was confusion as to what we had ordered, and we were not asked to sign immediately. Some of this was caused by the staff asking our surname - Tong, but there were at least 6 rooms booked with that name, and staff didn't always get stuff on the right room - no big issue for us, but you need to tighten up on that.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was very very good variety of hot and cold food, room confortable and big .
Cons: I didn't like the way of payment for example. I booked December in advance for 2 nights. total 220,00 . the property took 110,00 December my account. 06/03 I should pay the property 110,00 but the staff told me I should pay 220,00 . why????? I didn't agree but I was tired and paid with my bank card 08/03 check out the staff says I should pay 137,25 , ref 1 night plus dinner I agree to pay. SO CONFUSING THE METHOD OF PAYMENT AT HEADLAND HOTEL The lady was at desk 9:30 am sunday 08/03/20 told me the hotel will put my bank back 72,25 in between 7 days. To get things worst the manager on duty Saturday 07/03 6:30pm called my room complaited about noise. He says the next door complaint room 214 noise 6:30 in the morning , I told him that time I was sleeping , he seems to ignore me and said again put music down , my room 215 IT WAS 6;30 pm I was having bath with the door closed with the radio on the volume was loud , again whats the matter saturday night I cannot listen music?????????? while I was having a bath to get read to go out. to sump up that call made me really upset and I turn radio off and went to sleep 9 pm. SATURDAY NIGHT THE MUSIC WAS VERY LOUND NEXT RECEPION WITH PARTY, SINGER AND CHAMPAGNE AT SAME TIME AND I DINT COMPAINT .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel but a little dated but in a nice way
Cons: Single beds were a bit small
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We went for my husbands birthday weekend, and I had spoken to them before informing them it was Duncan's birthday and could we have the best table in the Samphire Restaurant for his birthday. On the saturday I went to check the time for dinner, and was informed the Samphire Restaurant was holding a function and there was no table booked for us!!! The Receptionist was apologetic and managed to get us a table in the town, but it wasnt the same as I had planned. I felt the Hotel Manager could have contacted us to apologise!
Cons: See above
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast and both restaurant meals excellent. Staff very helpful, especially those on reception. Location is excellent. Car parking easy. Bed very comfortable and room/everywhere was spotless.
Cons: Coastal view room is a distant view of the coastline from the back of the building across the car park. If you want a sea view you'll have to have a room advertised as such. They seem hell bent on throwing the baby out with the bath water and building on the headland - loads of cottages jammed together, a new spa, car parking to the front of the hotel, spoiling the view from the ballroom. Lots of dogs in bar at night (though well-behaved). Very slow bar service on Friday night, half hour wait for cocktail. Next door neighbours very loud at 5am Sunday morning - they had woken up and switched TV at full blast, then shouted at each other. They also ignored Night Receptions request to be quiet. The rooms would benefit from sound proofing as they appear very thin.

Cons: You’re staying in an old cottage so the floors are a bit creaky but it didn’t hinder our stay at all. The room decor and comforts made up for the creaky floorboards!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quaint cottage in excellent location
Cons: Shower would have been difficult if you were tall because of sloping roof (fortunately partner who is 6ft was not with me)
