Pros: The bed was great. Food better than most. I loved the pool.
Cons: Wifi didn't work cuz we got in but then made us wait forever. I just gave up. I'm not a member so I guess that was why?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very clean and nice hotel in the desert. Plus, as for as hotel breakfasts go, this one was really good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the pool, the staff, the cleanliness, the decor. Close to National park entrance.
Cons: Could have been made better with a little more maintenance around pool area, cleaning up trash, replenishing pool towels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness.. Nice pool area that was kept very clean
Cons: Breakfast could be better. The breakfast attendant was definitely NOT friendly
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Friendly excellent staff, very clean hotel, many amenities and great breakfast .
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location near the park was excellent and it was really clean!
Cons: WiFi kicked you out after 20 minutes, if you are not a member. You shouldn't be forced to sign up. Getting a working WiFi shouldn't be an issue these days anymore. Furniture in the room was very old but functional. Hotel could get a bit more "love" for details, including decorations and pictures.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean. The whole facility was very well kept. Pool was very nice. Staff was were very polite and helpful
Cons: No
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was small in the town but very clean and staff were super nice.
Cons: No
6.2 Good
Pros: The front desk person was pleasant and helpful. There were some covered parking which was available-haven’t seen that very often.
Cons: The internet was spotty-especially when streaming content. The TV remote didn’t work for turning the set on or changing the volume-I take responsibility on this one, I was too beat to call the desk..., And my favorite-old low flow toilets-need I say more?
5.0 Okay
Pros: room and location was accurate for price. I think they might rent out rooms by the night if you know what I mean, but no one bothered us for the 8 days that we spent there. Staff was very nice.
Cons: Bed was hard, but most hotel beds are not the best. Toilet paper and shampoo were terrible. Gap in door and window at ground level would not lock, kind of made me feel unsafe when sleeping but we rigged it to know if anyone would attempt to come in. Floor was cold because it was tile, bought some slippers because my socks kept getting dirty black from floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Even with a late arrival, the staff was very welcoming! Since a unit with a kitchen was available, the room was upgraded. The staff gave extra time to check out as well. I noticed that the staff was busy maintinaing rhe property which I though was a great sign of their commitment to the property and to the guests. The motel is located very conveniently to Joshua Tree National Park, and there is a great place to view the stars nearby called Sky's the Limit. There some restaurants and cafes within walking distance. I will stay there again, if I chance to pass through 29 Palms again one day.
7.1 Good
Pros: Pretty buildings.
Cons: Phone didn’t work.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean , nice receptionist
Cons: The bed and pillows are uncomfortable
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Looks as if there was a recent renovation and all is clean and sparkling with nice furniture. I like the buildings- cute architecture and I also like the U shaped configuration of rooms which moves them off the road, not that it is very busy at night. Pool in middle of U. Nice size mini fridge and freezer which helped us, microwave, coffeemaker in room. Breakfast not offered but we went to Denny's where we got a discount with room key. I usually don't eat what is offered at motel breakfasts anyway- too much carbs and sugar
Cons: Altho its fairly new, I couldn't get TV working with remote; had to use buttons on side of unit to get TV on and adjust volume. This is likely due to a previous guest and I will bring it up with manager
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property location is very convenient, the room was clean and spacious. And it was also very quiet despite being just off the main road. The ladies at reception are very kind and helpful. The internet connection is absolutely the best in miles! Lovely restaurants in the area, try Kitchen in the Desert for a treat!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: 60's retro feel and price. Plus 15% off for breakfast at Denny's down the road. I'm with a previous reviewer that said we need to support these small independent enterprises as long as they are maintaining their facilities well.
Cons: The bathroom was rather small compared to the lovely big room.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location is close to the Marine base & 29 Palms. The property looks nice, and some of the units have a carport to park in. There was a microwave and small refrigerator in the room. We didnt try the pool but it does have one. Staff seemed friendly.
Cons: The room we stayed in was not like the pictures shown. Our kitchenette consisted of a small fridge with microwave on top, placed against the wall. We have never seen a smaller bathroom space. Almost unusable, you could not even turn around in it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff was efficient.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: We like the Old West style theme and the owner is very nice.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Loved the light display they have to music at Christmas
Cons: They're was a lot not to like. We were supposed to have a bottom floor, since we have 7 kids with us.. We got a second floor which was impossible to keep the kids from running /quiet so it was very stressful. Kitchen was very poorly stocked. No can opener, no wash cloth, no towel, only a set of 4 dishes for our 10 people! Phone in the room did not work, so anything that went wrong we had to walk all the way in the freezing cold out to the front desk. The bathroom doors were super squeaky. With 10 people, many had to wake up at night, and it'd wake everyone else up to! I asked them to fix it and they didn't. Not enough towels for how many people we had, even when they knew how many we had. We were leaving for Joshua tree for a whole day, and since we hadn't gotten housekeeping the day before, the housekeeper met us at the door right before and asked us if we wanted housekeeping. I said definitely yes we really really need it and need new towels. It was new years eve and I didn't want it super messy for our return. We come back to nothing being touched at all and towels on the kitchen table. Supposedly, the magnet saying do not disturb was out on the door, (thank you children) so they weren't "allowed" to clean it, even though we very specifically asked for it as we were leaving. I had to go to the front and get the vacuum cleaner and vacuumed myself. So for a 3 night stay we didn't get any house keeping. Badly needs updating and felt dingy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like how close to the East entrance of Joshua Tree National Park this location is. Almost no traffic to get in from here. This place is also great if you are staying more than 1 day since it has a full kitchen. The staff is very courteous.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was conveniently located for our trip to Joshua Tree National Park.
5.0 Okay
Pros: the manager was nice.
Cons: no soap or shampoo in the dispensers... It was difficult to get the TV/cable to work (complicated setup) and we were unable to connect to the WIFI. The original room only had one bed, so we had to upgrade to the only suite with 2 which was a lot more $$.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The units are large , basically a studio apartment , the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans , silverware and the like!I had an all around nice stay and would stay there again!
Cons: It gets pretty cold at night during the winter months in the desert , it would be nice to have an updated heating system! The one they have works but being a wall heater , it takes time to heat up a place the size of their units!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Away from hwy. Quiet. Kitchen. Good bed.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice little cabins for the money. Hummingbirds & woodpecker in the garden. Quiet road away from the highway, so not much noise. Not far from NP entrance.
Cons: A bit worn, but then again it is only 2 star rating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property was unique. Room was great, like a home more than a motel. Highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very spacious. Comfortable and quiet. Had an excellent kitchen. Everything worked properly. The WiFi was excellent. There was even a BBQ. Bonus! The price was very reasonable for the area. The quirky cowboy style outside kept me chuckling.
Cons: I can't think of anything. The people running it great.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was quiet
Cons: our room was right next to the washing machine rooms so people were hanging out smoking right in front of our room. it was not clean or even nice. We didn't even stay the night. We left and just lost money. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone

2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Restroom was filthy ( blood and mold ) shower was dirty ( muddy foot prints inside) . The beds had coasters underneath to stop them from rocking . Smelled musty . Onsite manager was extremely rude . Once I reported this issue manager became angered ... she then asked me to GET OUT . I tried to defuse the situation by attempting to communicate .. she refused to listen to reason . I asked to be changed to another room.. she refused this request and again yelled at me and told me LEAVE. This was happening in front of another employees ( I assume because she was behind the desk) I felt threaten at one point when the manager kept yelling and this other lady stepped up behind me . I asked for a refund she said NO .. I again pleaded with her because I had no where to stay . She said “ I don’t care GET OUT I’m not giving you anything back “ when I told her that was going to report her to booking .. she shrugged her shoulders and said “ I don’t care .. you are now threatening me GET OUT” she yelled at my kids to get our belongings out of the room . She finally said “ I’m giving you 1/2 back because I’m kind not because of obligation. “ (I was in the room for under 1 hour ) luckily my daughter was able to find a room for us at motel 6 Please help others not fall victim To this person . I don’t know how she works with the public!!
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was good for coming and going to Joshua Tree National Park. It’s an older place but decorations outside and cactus were nice. The rooms have been remodeled and ours was fine for our stay. Had a full kitchen in our unit so we made use of that. Bed was comfortable. The gal in office was very nice.
10.0 Excellent

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great set up: spacious bedrooms good size kitchen Lovely pool and sauna facilities and helpful hostess
Cons: Highway proximity means some road noise but hard to avoid on this strip
9.4 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were cheerful and nicely decorated with personal touches. It was great that the hot tub is open until late!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Sunrise and sunset views from the property are awesome! Just a short drive to the Oasis trailhead. Reasonably close to the main entrance of Joshua Tree. Nice sky views from the jacuzzi at the end of the day.
Cons: You have to run the water quite a while for the hot water to become hot. I felt bad wasting water but I wasn’t up for a cold shower. I’m guessing the upper are old? I am an early riser do with I didn’t have to wait until 7 for coffee in the lobby/dining room.

Pros: Just location, and price was find Except any other things, i don’t know what to say i have never met host if this inn during i stay here Bed is too old i guess , in a good way to say is, it is comfy but i don’t like that kind of bed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable and the staff was excellent
5.0 Okay
Cons: The beds were extremely uncomfortable.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The rooms were pretty below average and the beds were very uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really convenient location, incredibly friendly staff and the room and facilities were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great value for money for the area.
6.0 Good
Pros: Interesting color scheme inside. Liked the tile floor versus old stinky rugs at a lot of hotels.
Cons: Couldn't find the keys when I was going to leave. I looked under the bed thinking they may have fell and been accidentally kicked under. I would say they haven't cleaned under the bed in at least a year. Kind of gross!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The woman at the desk is really kind and nice. For me like a foreigner. This could be an important factor. And the price is incredible because it has kitchen including a big refrigerator and a microwave.
Cons: I hoped there is a bathtub, but there was not. And about the facility, I wouldn't say it is good, but I realized that almost all the stuff are made or managed by the inn's owner, regarding some furniture and the house. So the facility looked more lovely
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly service and nice rooms
Cons: Weak wifi
4.2 Okay
Pros: Ok, the bed was really big and comfy and the colored room was funny! And you have a great view to the sunrise ... but
Cons: ... honestly it’s a old building and everything is run down! The color just covered it up! The microwave needs much longer to heat your stuff up. The shower pressure is low and it was really cold in the the night! My rooms temperature was 52 degree
6.0 Good
Pros: Initially we god a room that was no too good, it was cold and located next to the road, so it was noise. Fortunately, the woman in charge offered us a different room. The second room was comfortable (one bed a little noise). Do not expect a lot from the hotel. However, I can not complain because we sleep good and the room was clean. The staff was kind. the location is good. It is OK just for one night.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The place is very close to the North entrance of the park and there is a nice cafe for early morning breakfast on the way to the park. (MOJAVE MOON CAFE). The lady who manages the inn is very pleasant and helpful. She brought us extra pillows late at night when we needed them and was very accommodating at all times.
Cons: The entire place is run down. Lots of things need to be fixed. The owners try to make it work with nice pictures on the walls, and the room and bathroom were clean. However, everything was very dated. Okay for the price and a quick stop, but not okay if you need something more.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location is good - excellent view. Staff were very helpful.

7.0 Good
Pros: Location was good, near grocery store, some restaurants and close to Joshua Tree.
Cons: Spent about an hour waiting in line to check in. Some items in the suite didn't work (hair dryer, remote for TV).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money. Loved that there was both a fridge and a microwave in the room. The room felt pretty big and was nicer than i thought it would be.
Cons: The walls were a little thin, but that’s to be expected. The only real negative was the fact that they double charged me, but this was resolved with a phone call. Still annoying though.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: On my way at a good price with necessary conveniences, including laundry and WiFi.
Cons: Property staff unavailable/lobby closed so was a little put off at first, wondering, but they have some arrangement going with neighboring property to check in there.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location was good for where we wanted to be in the area.
Cons: Multiple issues: (1) Front desk was unable to check us in due to renovations; had to go to the property next door; (2) shower control was unintuitive; we had to ask the manager to show us how to turn it on; (3) insufficient hangars and towels. In addition, the hotel was in the process of changing the lock mechanisms on room doors. Without telling us, while we were out for the day they changed the lock on our door, and the workmen who were changing the locks apparently left the TV on in our room, so when we returned (a) we couldn't get in and (b) because we could hear the TV on we were not sure if someone else was in the room. Very unnerving.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location only
Cons: Lobby closed upon arrival and departure. No breakfast on premises, went next door and wasn’t notified of this TV didn’t work, clerk put me on hold 15 min, finally had to walk up twice
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Dependence on hotel next door for checking in, answering questions , complaints, checking out - Ad does not represent this - some photos indicate free breakfast - needs to update And be clear about connection to neighbouring hotel
6.0 Good
Pros: Needs painting and updated decor
Cons: Paint chipping off rundown dingy
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and good value for the price
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Proximity to Joshua Tree National Park
Cons: The air conditioning wasn’t sufficient. There was a non-functioning whirlpool bathtub in the room that looked awful & took up a lot of space. The motel is run in conjunction with another motel, and breakfast is not included eventhough it says so.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The front desk is not manned by anyone so you have to go to the hotel next door in order to check in and get a key there is no breakfast even though it says there is one online and they double-charged you for your stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern, friendly service, and an excellent breakfast
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The could not fund my reservation No breakfast

4.0 Okay
Cons: Maintenance of the property is lacking in parts.
