Our flight was delayed. We called to let them know 4 hours prior to our pick-up time. They told us they would only hold our reservation for 1hr (our flight was delayed 2 hours), and after that they'd give it to the 1st walk-in and we'd have to get a car in a first come first serve basis. If we had failed to show up on time for our appointment, I'd completely understand if they gave it away. But we called to let them know we'd been delayed and that we were still planning on renting the car for our 2 week visit!Reviewed 26 Mar 2023

usave is next to the dennys. tricky to get into the area from surrounding roads, pay close attention (we went in the one-way street wrong way on return but this doesnt seem to be a big deal in PR). can get busy in office, often only one staff around. airport shuttle is convenient. car was basic but clean and worked well enough for our week trip (had a maintenance alert on it for oil but the oil had just been changed but alert not cleared according to staff - seemed ok for trip).Reviewed 26 Mar 2023

I did a reservation to pick up vehicle @ 10:00pm. I arrived @ the airport about 8:50pm. Im waiting for a vehicle to pick me up at that time. No one had arrived, I called no one answer. I got a UBER to get there. There were close at 10:00pm. So I had to Uber back to the airport and get a rental a ENTERPRISE which the rate was the same and better services and they gave me upgrade. So will do business in the future with ENTERPRISE. So I called the next day I spoke with a representative early and he was unprofessional. Saying that I was a liar and etc etc. All I told him to not charge anything on my card . USAVE, I think they have to change that name. UnfortunatelyReviewed 16 Nov 2021

NEVER rent from USavePros:When I landed, the rental agency was closed. They knew what time my flight was coming in but they did not notify me when I booked the reservation that their office would be closed when my flight arrived. I called the national number. They said if I called the local number someone would pick up. They didn't. National number also said they would have someone call me back as soon as they opened in the morning. They did not. I called the national number several times in the morning but kept getting sent to voicemail with a promise they'd call me back. They never did. Finally called the local number in the morning. He asked what time I arrived the night before and said they were closed at that time. (Funny... the national office said they closed at a different time... ) Local guy also said said because I had not shown the night before he'd canceled the rental. I asked how could he help me now. He just said he couldn't. Told me to go online to rent a car from them. I went online and the site said to call the local office to rent a car. At that point I just gave up.Reviewed 21 Dec 2015

Cons:I received my rental and everything was fine. Two days into my trip the brakes on the car I rented failed and thank god I was able to stop the car. I then had to get the brakes replaced at my expense. Making the trip miserable. I was reimbursed for the brakes after I returned the car, but in no way does that compensate for the moment you step on the brakes to find there are none. This company needs to remember that vehicle maintenance and customer safety needs to come first and foremost.Reviewed 12 Dec 2015
