The smell was awful.
Location was great but that was it. Luckily I only had to spend one night and only spent from 11:30pm till 9:30am.
The prominent smell of cigarettes was the first impression you get and my room was a non smoking room but smelled strong of cigarettes. Breakfast area was very small and very little choices. The cleanliness of this hotel could improve. The beds were comfortable but pillows we're flat.
Good Value/Great Service/Old Facility
The hotel was clean, and the employees were kind and helpful. Beds were comfortable and Air Conditioning unit worked well. Wifi was provided for free, and worked great on Labtop, but I couldn't get it to work on my smartphone. Minifridge with icebox inside and the microwave all worked well, also.
The hallway had an odd smell mixed with cigarette smoke, though smoking is prohibited in the hotel, but it may be a lingering smell from years ago when smoking was more common. The shower curtain rod was curved and installed slightly tilted to where the curtain would slide open on both sides toward the base of the curve. Continental breakfast was mostly pastries and cereal. I can't eat gluten so that wasn't good for me. They did provided bananas so I ended up eating a banana. But the hotel is right beside Waffle House, so we went and got some breakfast there one morning. But besides those complaints it was overall a good experience.
It's inexpensive and has a pool for the kids. The staff is friendly.
There were bugs in the rooms and the pool was cold. The room also smelled and the toilet didn't flush well.
