8.0 Excellent
Pros: 2 out of 3reception staff very helpful. Kitchen staff for breakfast very good. Leisure club reception very good.
Cons: No special rates for groups . I have a team of 12 people working on the door step of this hotel and we are all getting different rates. Some are getting £49 per night including breakfast others are paying £67. Those with the higher rates and tired bedrooms have moved out to the premier inn which has better parking and restaurant.
4.2 Okay
Pros: This is my 3rd week at the hotel and it is very busy ,very conveniet to motorway and work. The new wing of thehotel is nice and I have had 2 very positive stays. This weekwas a relative nightmare with very basic and tired looking room.
Cons: Reception staff quite lazy this week so no recognition of regular clientelle or help with getting cheaper options for wifi/breakfast so ended up getting worse service and very inferior rooms. There are other hotels nearby which offer better quality so I would suggest the hotel looks at better rates for repeat customers. I have had sixof my team staying at the hotel We dont get group rates or any special discounts. No sign of investment being made in the bar area . Very basis restaurant menu. Not suitable for people like me with restricted dietary needs (halal). I have had to call for deliveries from outside suppliers.

Pros: I like the location of this hotel

Cons: New parking charge for hotel guests (whilst free to gym users for 4hrs). Checked in at 18:30pm and Room had not been made up (wet towels on the bed) so new room provided. New room had no TV remote, no problem as I dont watch TV (and not all channels available as 'signal is weak') but did not want to be charged for missing remote, one provided.

Pros: Pleasant enough hotel. Restaurant area felt massive and busy. A bit outside of town, but perfectly acceptable for business trip. Great value for money.
Cons: Check out was a disaster. Had to wait forever for a taxi, then got 'told off' by the cabbie for letting him wait... Totally disorganised.

Cons: Bed wasn’t great. Pillows in short supply and the cooked breakfast for £30 for two was almost inedible. Really disappointed in the quality of the reheated full English. 1.0 Poor
Cons: Having the trailer on my vehicle stolen from the car park
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Well situated for our party and good value for money. Clean, comfortable accommodation with excellent shower. Staff were efficient and very helpful.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - from the receptionists when we arrived at about 11.30 pm after a very long journey to the waitress ladies in breakfast the next morning was exceptional. The breakfast was also good.
Cons: Being able to put the air conditioning on effectively in the bedroom to make it a cooler without having to have the window open would have been helpful. Even though it's winter, rooms can get very stuffy for sleeping in. Having to have the window open meant that it was very noisy for a large part of the night from the nearby motorway.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service from all staff, friendly & helpful at all times. Bedding quality good and comfy bed. Meal at the function was exceptional as over 100 guests came hot and large portions
Cons: Very tired looking room, marks on walls with old furniture and also small compared to my other family members staying at same time. Bathroom needed updating, painting etc as marks on walls, scratched tiles and had to complain about the heated towel rail as was making a loud banging noise so this had to be turned off on arrival and reported. Breakfast was nice but not great quality products and small selection of items
6.8 Good
Pros: The walls are quite thin so expect to hear your neighbours unless they’re the considerate type
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice Hotel , well presented, good location. nice décor, good staff. even rang to inform me that due to the current "coronavirus" the restaurant would be closed but as I had passed the free cancellation period decided to stay anyway.
Cons: NOT impressed with room allocation, booked a suite through website only given AT BEST executive double room. not sure who's fault, website or hotel but not what I was expecting......
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable, staff able to accomodate for everything requested. Location was very good, close to buses that take you into town. The breakfast was very good, excellent coffee! There was lots of choices for breakfast.
Cons: The rooms were not sound proof, Saturday morning was woken up at 5am from neighbours and the noise did not stop. I stayed near the suites on the top floor... different flooring didn’t know if this was also a contributing factor
7.0 Good
Pros: Suited our needs, no room with family living chose by.
Cons: Bit dated.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is great, close to the town centre. Bathroom well equipped and clean.
Cons: The room itself was very tired. Wallpaper peeling from the ceiling, stains on the wall, frayed curtains/nets. The door to the corridor constantly slamming shut throughout the day & night. Lump in the centre of the bed where the two singles joined up. Not what I was expecting for an upgrade to an executive room. I’ve stayed in a normal double within this hotel and it was of much better quality.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location, breakfast, bedroom
Cons: Mould around bath problem with the sink
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice Hotel with good parking facilities. Looks better inside than outside
Cons: Although friendly and helpful, not many staff around.
7.3 Good
Pros: Staff worked hard to meet every request. Room was warm and comfortable and breakfast excellent
Cons: Huge Christmas party on sat night did not disturb us greatly although the pools of vomit in the car park the following morning were not pleasant. Although we had stated when booking that we needed a double room with extra bed in room for child we were shown to a twin room and had to wait in bar till they organized a suitable room. They said that our request did not download to them

Paddington House Hotel - Warrington - Front desk

5.9 Okay (1,245 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Warrington, Paddington House Hotel is within a 5-minute drive of Gullivers Kingdom Theme Park and Halliwell Jones Stadium. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is central and has easy access. It has no big frills but was quite adequate for our needs. We were spending most of the day with our family, so little use was made of the hotel facilities.
Cons: No housekeeping for 3 days due to staff shortage. However, the hotel management did leave a message if we needed anything to ask at reception. But what happened was not communicated in person, but by way of a note at reception, and this is not correct in my view. We were staying downstairs. At times, it was also quite noisy with other guests banging doors when they came in at late hours. Also, people walking into their rooms above ours at these same hours, woke us up when the floors creaked.

Pros: Did get me breakfast and u tuck the money
Cons: Goggle
6.3 Good
Pros: Fairly friendly owner and obliging staff. Room was comfortable and convenient if travelling by train as there is a station directly opposite. A good overnight stay if in work. I had stayed there a long time ago previously and was surprised to see they had refurbished a lot of it.
Cons: Not really enough parking spaces. More somewhere you need to arrive to by train. Also initially just cold water in shower, but then did warm up eventually. I had to hold the shower head whilst having one. The breakfast was cold, eggs slightly congealed, mushrooms cold and sausages as well as bacon couldn't cut through.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My second stay so, obviously, happy. Although an 'older' building, the room was comfortable and spotless, as was the bathroom with copious amounts of hot water (fastest bath fill I've ever seen). The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the service efficient and friendly. Superb location directly opposite a mainline train station and a short walk to town centre for shopping, etc.
Cons: Can't think of anything to dislike.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were very friendly
Cons: Breakfast was only average. Overcooked.

Pros: Nice all round, helpful staff and good food from the Pub/restaurant adjoining the hotel. Room was clean with plenty of room and a comfy bed. Bath room was nice but could not get the shower to give me a constant temperature so had a good ol fashioned hot bath which was spot on.
Cons: could not get shower to give a constant hot water supply
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed. Excellent breakfast
Cons: In need of a little tlc
4.5 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The room was clean and the shower was fine.
Cons: The decor is bland. The checkin is a fully manual process. I thought I could walk 20 mins from Warrington Bank Quay station. 15 mins into my walk I was directed by Google Maps onto an unlit footpath alongside the Mersey, through a pitch black tunnel under a disused railway bridge. It was almost 11pm and I really did not fancy this even though the hotel appeared to be just the other side according to the map. Getting there another way led me right back to Bank Quay station. The alternative footpath from there also did not look viable so I gave up and took a taxi. I don't think this is a satmav problem... the site is awkward to walk to and I strongly recommend not even trying at night. There are no services on site apart from a pub next door which was closed by the time I arrived, nor is it really realistic to walk anywhere to find local services at night, so for example if you wanted a quick drink after a long journey, you may be out of luck. In this sense the Premier Inn Warrington Centre is not in the centre of Warrington. This site is also poorly served by taxi services. Even though I prebooked my taxi to avoid the difficulties that a sign in the reception warned of, my taxi was 20 minutes late, which meant I was 15 minutes late for my meeting. I am a Premier Inn fan and this is not a bad hotel, however the location is poor and I would have hoped that the staff would be totally on top of the taxi issue and would have been warning more aggressively and chasing the taxi company without me having to ask several times. At 71 pounds, I feel the price was too high.
