The good: The free breakfast was pretty good- lots of hot options including eggs, sausage and potatoes. The location was great, just two blocks from the Metro station. The staff were super friendly. Pros (+) The hotel is located just steps from the Capitol and Library of Congress, and the Capitol South Metro stop. It was a great location, with a good selection of restaurants and cafes within a couple blocks. The hotel provides a great breakfast spread in a building adjacent to the main building, so be aware that you may have to walk a bit to get to breakfast in the morning if you are staying in the ma...
Cons (-) The bathroom in the Junior Suite was rather small and did not have a window that opened, so it did get a bit stuffy after a hot shower. The television generally worked, but some of the channels would go out every now and then. Wifi required you to log in multiple times a day, which was frustrating.

Pros (+) Large room, comfy bed, friendly and accomodating staff-they let us check out late, valet parking until 6 pm the next day even if you check out that day, breakfast was good though the room is crowded so get there early or be prepared to grab something quick

Pros (+) Capitol hill hotel is a great place to stay if you are touring DC. Very close to a metro stop, and only about a 20 minute walk to the mall. Great food on Pennsylvania Ave just minutes away also. Well maintained, the staff were helpful and professional.
Cons (-) The only inconvenience I had while staying is there was only one ice machine on the ground floor. Other than that, it was great.
