Breakfast was not included and was very expensive.
2 years in a row --GREAT STAY
School vacation was so great that we came back to D.C. And had to stay here again. The staff super helpful and friendly. Room clean and modern inside. Pool for kids (small) but works and keep everyone happy after lots of waking around National Mall. Quick 10 minute walk to Union Station.
Last minute booking
It was 100° this weekend and our neighborhood had a blackout so I ran here. I was pleasantly surprised. The location was great being right above the grocery store and right around the corner from the metro.
The facilities were kind of small but they were definitely nothing to complain about. I don't really have any negative comments. I wish I had a tub instead of a shower. That would be my only disappointment.
The staff provide great services
Very comfortable bed Clean Central Location
- restaurant/bar is average - not too many local restaurants after business hours
Anthony at the front desk was great!!!!
The pasta from the restaurant
Good location, hotel was clean and modern. The location was convenient to public transit and although the neighborhood is a bit dead, it is changing quickly.
Very fancy (and you pay for it). Gym was one of the best hotel gyms I've ever seen. We basically just used our room to sleep, and it was more than adequate for that (wish we had used more of the services, given what we were paying. Great bathroom, furniture and linens... spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable... firm with fluffy pillows... but it wasn't very steady... creaked and made a lot of noise when we got a little, um, active...frankly even just getting into bed, it made noise. Otherwise, the bed was great. Great view. Very close to a grocery store, a few restaurants and the metro station (Noma University station)... a conveniently central location to walk or ride to most of the city. Iced tea, infused water and cookies by the front desk, during the afternoon... coffee and hot tea in the mornings.
Beautiful room, but a little far from the action.
The room was beautiful and spacious, even with 2 adults and 2 children. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The pool was very small and wasn't very clean. With one other family, it felt crowded. The hotel was a bit far from the monuments. There is a Metro station around the corner, but we had to take it everywhere we went, often having to change lines. We were too far to walk anywhere. The parking was very expensive: $38 + 18% tax each day, so for 4 nights, it cost an additional $180! And valet was the only option, so we had to pay it.
Clean, comfortable and nearby to local transportation. On the day of our checkout we weren't catching a train until the early evening but they held our bags for us so we could enjoy our last day in D.C. unencumbered.
Nothing to speak of.
