I paid for and booked for Hyundai Tuscon or similar but I got Mitsubishi Outlander. Car was ok but no CarPlay or no Navigation system. It’s very hard to drive without navigation in unknown place.Reviewed 24 Feb 2026

I would never rent from Ace. Read the reviews. They allow you to book a vehicle and they cancel on you the same day. We arrived in Hawaii and received a voicemail that they no longer had a vehicle for us. Completely unacceptable.Reviewed 21 Feb 2026

Terrible experience. Would NEVER use them again. It took an hour in a very short line to get to even speak to someone at the desk. They were screwing around with us asking for auto insurance (which I don’t have and have never been asked for when renting a car, and my credit card covers rentals). They said my credit card coverage wasn’t enough. I’ve rented cars plenty of times and have never been forced into buying MORE auto insurance coverage. When my partner asked to switch the reservation into her name because she did have auto insurance, they told us that we could not do that. They also said we could not make a new reservation with them at the desk which was completely false as they advertised available cars to anyone who wanted to walk up and make a reservation. They took their sweet time despite being told we had a rush to the hospital for a family emergency. Completely lacking empathy and any sort of morals. I would never rent from them again. It was an absolute nightmare and full on scam.Reviewed 5 Feb 2026
