Great experience. We had a great view of downtown. Pool closed too early. Parking too expensive.
The staff was very helpful. The Texas Spice and Box Office Staff were exceptional. The food at Texas Spice was great. The view was awesome. The beds comfortable. My daughter has stayed there several times before, and the price was atleast $100.00 a night cheaper than what I paid. We were also charged for wifi and self parking was very expensive. We stayed 2 nights, and after the cleaning people had been in our room, the sink handles had not been wiped down. For the price of our stay not sure we got the quality. Not sure we will come back.
pet fee was a little high
The rooftop pool was an amazing feature. The pool was a blessed relief after a hot, muggy day. It was also in a central location downtown. Plenty of restaurant options nearby - although the hotel restaurant - Texas Spice - was a nice option as well. The work out facility was up to date with amazing views of the city. Certainly worth while.
Size of room Many large groups that were very loud and partying.
The spa services were exceptional. Bob's chop house was delicious and convenient for my husband and I to celebrate. Our room was ready and clean the three days we stayed. The only complaint was that we thought there was a mini microwave and there wasn't. Other than that we were fine.
We enjoyed our stay at Omni in Dallas. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, pool is awesome and the restaurant "Texas Spice" is really nice. We recommend this hotel for families looking for luxurious place to stay in Dallas. None
The pillows and bed were worth every single penny. Getting ready for a night out with my husband and being able to watch tv in the bathroom was a luxury I will not soon forget. Breathtaking view! We requested a quiet room but there was a convention with young teenagers staying there and they were a bit unruly and loud.
We loved the room , restaurants and felt it was a good value for amenities We called to make reservations to the Texas Spice & got no answer. Front desk tried and told us restaurant was booked. Called restaurant 10 min later. They answered and got us in at our requested time. Restaurant was half full. So communication breakdown. But it all worked out
Luxurious rooms, very nice spacious bathroom.
Being greeted with champagne Live band in the lobby Clean and comfortable room Staff were friendly and professional
Vary nice lobby/public area and the room was vary cleen beautifully decorated The staff was horrible! The bellmen left one of my bags in the room and when I call to see if they have it. The front dest gave me the runaround and I wound up speaking to 6 people in different departments all don't know what happend to my bag. The staff at this hotle was the unhelpful and rude. There are other great hotels in the area I suggest you find one of them.
the location to atractions is perfect. the pool and surrounding landscaping was perfect. loved, loved the trees.
mostly the comfortable bed. Very clean and staff was very helpful no
The location is great for Arlington business. The shuttle service is great and accommodating. I would keep that service. I waited probably about 20 mins for a parfait yogurt in the restaurant for breakfast. Also, I would provide the coupon for a complimentary breakfast upon check-in. Not in the envelop found under the room door on check-out day. I assumed that was the bill and paid for breakfast at my own expense, not knowing the envelop contained a coupon for free breakfast.
Close to the new Cowboys Stadium with a restaurant and bar.
My entire experience was weird. When we first arrived, we wanted to unload our car and I got yelled at like I was a child. Literally yelled at. I had to be firm back in order to get direction as to what te he'll I was supposed to do. Then, upon check in, I was informed that for our two cars, self park was $40. I had no idea it would be so much. I was extremely unhappy but tried to remain optimistic. I purposefully found a hotel with a Pool per request of our group. The pool is a sick hilarious joke. It's the size of a van. It was ridiculous. It was also completely full because of the 10 whole people who were in it. Left the hotel an figured out they overcharged me. Called them and they "took care of it". Well they isn't it still is not reconciled in my account. Over charged, expensive parking, rude parking dude, misleading pool size.
View was awesome! Staff was really nice and helpful. Definitely will be stay here again when the chance comes up Nothing was wrong
Everything else. Overpriced compared to facility. The room could have been cleaner. The entrance location is a bit tricky for pedestrians. Not my best hotel experience.
I absolutely loved it. We stayed at the Hyatt for my boyfriends 30th birthday and the staff was phenomenal. At check in they asked us what the occasion was and upon finding out they sent us a bottle of wine and appetizers to our room. the first night we ate at the little Italian bistro and not only was it delicious but the waiter Chris was so nice. Natasha in the bar area was equally amazing. We had a wonderful view of the city on the 25th floor. I have stayed at several other locations in the city.. Zaza, Magnolia, Joules etc. this is the best bang for your buck. Thank you so much for assisting in making it a special weekend!! We self parked, and the walk from self parking is pretty long we got lost in the hotel trying to find our way to the front desk. (we parked in the parking lot closest to reunion tower)
Very nice hotel, with excellent meeting facilities. Very convenient to West End nightlife and dining. Good food. Easy and cheap access to airport via rail (DART or TRE). The train is a little noisy, even on the opposite site of the building.
Friendly staff, beautiful location and near everything. PARKING
Super pet friendly. They welcomed my dog with a hyatt dog bed and dog dish for her and also gave us two treats that she enjoyed. However, there is a pet depost of $100 that's non-refundable
I loved the location. Friday nights dinner at five-sixty was wonder full and the view amazing. Saturday morning we awoke and took a stroll through downtown dallas. And the shops on the 1st level were convenient. So last weekends stay was all for fiancee....Shes been really stressed lately and i wanted to give her a night to remember.First off partially my fault, but i booked on prom weekend so parking was horrible. I actually ended up parking across the street from Reunion Tower. Then greeted at the front desk i find that they've stuck me into a double queen handicap room, not ok. After speaking with the young lady down stairs she apologizes and gives me a different room. Again its a double queen not the single room. I had booked. Then when i go to wash up before dinner at the five-sixty, the drain to the sink was clogged and water poured on to the floor. Kids at the prom were having fun on the balcony, they were laughing, screaming and enjoying theyre night. Unfortunately for us, we were located right above...
A remarkable hotel at the epicenter of Dallas. The hotel has immediate access to all local Dart rail trains (leading everywhere), the T (taking you to Fort Worth) and Amtrak with straight connections to Chicago and Los Angeles. A memorable vacation starts with 1 or 2 nights here and then a surprise trip either on Amtrak or Dart out to DFW airport. The atrium is amazing with views of Reunion tower and the famed 560 Wolfgang Puck's restaurant. Make your reservations at least 2-3 weeks out to get an available time slot for a memorable night viewing downtown Dallas from 3/4 of mile away and 560 feet up in the air. Room was spacious and immaculate and view of downtown, rail station, Omni was incredible. Request a view of downtown when you check in. Valet parking is a little pricey so I opted for self pay parking at the Amtrak station ($6 for 12 hours)
The room was clean enough. Valet is a joke. Staff is rude. Not pet friendly at all. Terrible location, hard to access. Expect long waits for any service needed and fees that aren't shown online. Make sure to really check your bill upon leaving. Ours was screwy. Couldn't complete a quick check-out, because we had to go to the desk to get it fixed, which took forever.
Contemporary rooms with great staff. Highly satisfied.
Quiet large rooms. Close to everything we asked for. Very friendly and helpful staff
The hotel is tucked back off Lamar Blvd, so it's pretty quiet. The facilities are nice, though the fitness center could use more and newer equipment. I didn't use the indoor hot tub, nor take advantage of the continental breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I'd rate the hotel higher, if not for the surprise $10 charge for "incidentals". Incidentals are supposed to be per-item charges for beverages and snacks that are in your in-room fridge, with a price list attached. In this case, however, it's just Wyndham going for a slightly better margin on a room. There was no mention of an "incidentals" fee when I made the reservation, and the practice is borderline false advertising. I'd pre-paid for the room to get a special rate, then Wyndham gouged me for another $10 at check-in, eliminating the savings.
It was very easy to check in and out no complications. I got to check in early than regular check in time. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. I loved reading the little cards they had around the room to learn about going green on the items there. Overall I was impressed. Plus a bonus you are close to six flags, Ripley's believe it or not, rangers stadium, and at&t stadium home of the cowboys. I got a good deal on the price too.
I like that this place was minutes from the airport. They have monitors everywhere telling you flight status. The rooms are spacious, and modern/newly remodeled. Place was affordable... Was only $134/night compared to others near the airport were asking $175-250/night. There isn't any signs at the airport that point you to Hyatt Regency only to Grand Hyatt which are two different places. We flew American Airlines and got off at Terminal D at DFW and the best thing I can advise is walk to Grand Hyatt then make a left to go outside, and the Hyatt service guy will call a Hyatt shuttle to get you to the Regency (takes 5min). Lastly don't order room service late night unless you're willing to dish out $$$. The fine print on the bottom of the menu says they charge you 21% service fee and tax/gratituity, so when the guy comes DO NOT TIP again like we did. They're getting twice the tip.
table with combs, razors, etc for stranded passengers room by elevator
Our flight was canceled and bags lost, and it was after before we got to the hotel. Staff was super helpful to get us some basic items for the night and get us checked in. Great service and super clean rooms!
The hotel largely serves business travelers who are stuck at DFW airport due to problems with flights. For this reason, the hotel serves an important need. However, it is very overpriced. There was a dead roach in my room.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Room very clean and comfortable, breakfast was wonderful. Staff helpful.
Pros- I've come to expect a certain level of cleanliness and comfort with Hyatt, and this location didn't disappoint. The bed was extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby. The A/C was great, the room was sufficiently cool when we wanted to sleep, and warmed up quickly once we turned it off. At about 9am there was a very loud group outside our door, the walls are a bit thin and sound travels easily.
Free shuttle to and from airport.
Efficient staff, all expected amentities available and excellent food options available! Nothing
The hotel had a very efficient check in process. Staff were friendly and welcoming to me checking in alone with two young children. The casual restaurant in the hotel had good food for the price. The room was clean and functional, but some of the touches in structure of the room felt industrial. The extra lock on the door didn't work as well. It was not the right size for the bulb of the locking mechanism.
Great service, room was nice, excellent steakhouse..service at steakhouse excellent and host is outstanding and great sense of humor..would come back just bc of him Snack items in lobby coffee shop very overpriced..4 dollars for little bag fruit chews..should be 1.5, chips etc were all overpriced
Good food Bathroom too small, charged for bottle water, too expensive for level of hotel other than airport location
Location is great as it situated within the airport complex. This is ideal if you have an overnight stay to catch a flight the following day. They have free shuttle service to the airport terminal. I have stayed several times and am impressed by the cleanliness of the place and the professionalism of the staff. They also validate parking so when you leave in a car you don't have to pay the auto fee for exiting the airport complex. The signage directing you to the hotel location can be a bit confusing.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was rundown. furniture broken and old. did not like that after a certain hour, the hotel bar turns into a nightclub with a $10 entrance. we just wanted to go have a drink at the hotel bar and it went from a nice hotel bar earlier in the day to a cheeky vegas nightclub packed with 20 somethings. We just wanted to go from our room to have a cocktail, not the gross club!
Shower head was much to short for a tall person. I kept hitting my head on the spout which was both painful and disgusting.
I had a great stay. My visit was exactly as I expected. The hotel shuttle pick up from Love Field was a unique benefit.
The location was nice in that is was close to many other places downtown within walking distance. Although the immediate area didn't give us a fully safe feeling. The price we paid for the hotel was fair. The smell of the hallway was bad. It seems like they never cleaned or replaced the carpet ever. The location also looked a little shady as we were walking to the hotel.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room, though somewhat older, was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Water pressure on our floor (15) was good, but a friend staying on another floor (18) said that it was barely a trickle. Although we didn't use the pool, its location on the ninth floor was nice. Downtown Dallas, like downtown of other large, Texas cities (e.g., Houston) is just not a great location. We arrived on a Sunday, and very little was open. We walked several blocks to find dining options other than Subway, McDonald's or 7-Eleven. The hotel is not far from a Greyhound station and several urban parks, so there were often groups of people hanging around near the hotel that made the place seem a bit unsafe. The hotel is on the older side, and could stand to be upgraded a bit.
Location pretty much Door don't seal right main window dirty shower too short or too low, also breakfast too expensive for what you offer
Location is great, Dallas World Aquarium is within walking distance so you do save on parking. The hotel stay was ok, the room had a microwave and a fridge which I wasn't expecting so that was nice. You basically get what you pay for. The hotel is downtown and I checked other downtown hotel rates and they were quite expensive so settled on this. It's not a luxury hotel per say so plan to spend some time exploring the downtown because that way you get a good value out of your hotel stay.
Good stay overall! One complaint was told via email and booking that the room included breakfast even the server with breakfast told me it was included but somehow I was charged anyway. Ill just make sure to be mindful the next time.
The location is the reason I booked this hotel. Room smelled like wet mildewed gym socks. The bed was beyond uncomfortable. The toilet paper even felt like it was from the solitary confinement section of Riker's Island! We were forced to have our room keys re-magnetized 7 times in two days. I am very conscious not to let my cell phone come in contact with the keys etc, but it was a habitual problem. I have never experienced that in all the many places I have stayed in the past. The front desk staff was disinterested and going through the motions every time they were approached. Warm hospitality is not their strong suit. I really discourage this hotel when staying downtown. Go somewhere else.
It was close to the 6th floor museum Noises, lots of people coming in and out because there was a big party in the club located inside. Relaxing was impossible.
We were supposed to have a room with two queen-size beds and instead we had two full-size. was very hard for four people to sleep in two full-sized beds.
The front desk and concierge was very polite and friendly. The entrance to the hotel is beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and the balcony was nice. The room was in need of a remodel. Paint and color on the walls were out of date. There were several spots that have been patched over. The bar staff wasn't very knowledgable in making drinks or friendly. She seemed preoccupied with one customer the hour I was there.
We were unable to have both rooms on the same floor
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Very nice, spacious rooms & great location No, breakfast was also good.
The location was great as it was right off the highway and close to Globe Life Park and AT&T Stadium. The room was comfortable and quiet. A hot breakfast was served (veggie omelet, sausage, etc..) and was well stocked and tasted very good.
Location I requested two rooms but I did not know the room would be cancelled if it was not in my name. So the second room was cancelled and my guest had to wait until 1:00 pm for their room the next day. I hope I did not get charge for a night that was not used.
The location of this hole was perfect for what we are in town for. We are in town for a ball game in the Ballgame was right up the road. Absolutely nothing.
Close to the attraction we were attending. Bathing areas small....
Wonderful room. Nice bar. Excellent breakfast. Very pleasant staff.
the staff were amazing, rooms were clean, shower had great water pressure ice only on two levels, no vending machines although they did have an area to buy snacks, etc but a little over priced.
The attitude of the staff could have been better (night staff was okay). However, after meeting the manager, it was very clear to see why the staff never smiled.
Very friendly staff and a perfect location if you plan on visiting six flags over texas
The staff was very helpful The shower was clogged in room 518. The pool was in poor condition and the surrounding rooms were under construction and looked like it had been for a while. The outdoor pool was closed because it was run down.
I am always skeptical about some of these sites but the rooms were just as described! We had a noise issue, however I called room service they quickly took care of the problem! The staff was nice. We are definitely staying again. Thank you comfort suites!
Desk clerks were friendly. Only one elevator was working so it was a bit of a wait. Nothing drastic though.
The room was spacious and clean. The continental breakfast is terrific. The bed was comfortable and they even had two types of pillows to choose from-firm or fluffy.
Room appeared nice. Sofa bed was broken and wife fell through. The wire spring was broken at the foot of the bed. My 17 year old daughter slept in our bed because the sofa bed was so uncomfortable. I had to get on the elevator to get ice because the machine on our floor was out of service. Breakfast was at best "ok". Parking lot was full from convention and they told me to park in neighboring business parking lot. Really! Not them but me! Really!
From the online reservation to checkout, everything was smooth and easy. The night desk attendant was friendly and helpful when we arrived and got us checked in quickly. Once we made it to our room we were pleased -- it was a nice size and clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Also, a full breakfast was served from 7-10AM, which allowed us enough time to sleep in but still go sit down and eat a good meal. I will definitely choose Comfort Inn & Suites for my next hotel stay!
Bed was comfortable We showed up to find the police and three cars broken into on the property. When I went in to check in, I asked the guy at the counter about it. He response was "we're not responsible if something happens to your car". We requested a crib be in our room a week before checking in and of course, it wasn't in the room when we showed up. It took them two hours to bring it up to our room, and when my husband and I tried to say it up, we found out it was broken and the sides didn't lock. Not to mention it was dirty and stained!
I did not like the fact that the attendants behind the counters did not inform us about the breakfast at the lounge especially after we paid for the executive room which included the breakfast. We had to go to the other restaurant in the atrium to eat and pay... The attendants in the hotel are not good.
SER steak house was great everything. no continental breakfast, nickel and dime you for everything. rooms were dirty, linens were dirty
Everything was excellent.. Maintenance man knocked on our door at 9:30 to clean AC filter. We had Do Not Disturb sign on the door but he still knocked on the door. Kept knocking few times and woke me up.
Big facility with things to do. Basketball court was closed at 8pm. Rooms were dated
Check-in service, fairly affordable parking for the area, & the lobby was beautiful The hotel is an atrium hotel and is extremely large. During my stay there was a prom, a conference, and a wedding hosted by the hotel - it was extremely noisy and crowded. While its very large, its also quite an old hotel. There's one set of elevators for each atrium and the walk to and from the room is really long! Kayak listed it as 4 star and I've generally had a great experience with selected 4 star hotels throughout the country; this one was extremely disappointing.
The only pluses: nice beds, great sheets and pillows, room was very clean. For this room costing me $400/night it was a fairly poor value. The bathroom was so small that I had to climb over the toilet to get in and out of the shower. No balcony, no sitting room, the plumbing gurgled and rattled every time anyone used it nearby, and I could hear everything going on in the adjacent room. The hotel is sooooo huge and no signs or directories. People were constantly lost and asking each other for directions everywhere I went (I don't get why they don't have signs in TX, not specific to the hotel alone, very few signs on the roads too). So basically the room was a confort inn with a hilton price tag. Nothing complimentary or included, not worth the money. Stay at the Sheraton across the street.
Hotel is very nice. very disappointed at the fact that we had to pay for parking after spending good money to stay overnight. If already paying for a room, should not have to pay extra for parking.
Asian Art They put us in the middle of a high school cheerleading convention. Didnt sleep one night with teenage girls running wild throughout the hallways at all hours. Management did NOTHING to control them. Management offered no apologie or follow up. I will NEVER stay at a Hilton again!
Size of the room There was only one front desk representative at both front desks at 6:30 pm. I needed another key a was quite a wait. The parking is a total pain for $19, the gate readers do not work well. There was only one small trash can under the desk and none in the bathroom. And there was a creepy crawling visitor in the shower on the 20th floor.
The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was very friendly. It was very easy to check in and out. The parking was very easy, and I was able to park close to the entrance. The parking was very expensive. Normally I pay nothing to park at other hotels, but I have paid up to $15 for parking a day. ($3 Anatole was $22 a day and the parking lot was almost empty.
TV kept loosing signal, staff question were not concrete and contradicted each other. The climate control wasn't working. Along with the facilities feeling humid n hot. Very uncomfortable especially with the weather of above 104.
Customer service was bad. Also not enough staff.
Hotel room was clean with plenty of room. The restaurant staff were friendly. Not responsive to requests. Had to repeatedly ask for additional towels. Only provided decaf coffee in room.
The internet sevice was not free, I was annoyed because most of the hotel even less rated hotels offer internet sevice free of charge
Everything about the Hilton was good. Especially for the cost. We really enjoyed staying there. Nothing.
Nice facilities. Nice room. Staff aloof and distracted at check in. Room service stopped 90 minutes earlier than advertised. They were overwhelmed due a storm and a special event, and they just stopped answering the phone.
The location, staff, facilities, and beds were amazing. The staff during check in and out were both so friendly and helpful. We had trouble with the tv remote and purchasing a movie and the lady that hel D at check out went above and beyond what one would expect to rectify the situation. Had a small problem with the tv remote. It didn't work properly. But it could have been me.
The location of the hotel was very convenient for the event we were attending. The shuttle service made our trip more enjoyable. We had a room full of ladybugs. There were live ones all over and dead ones on the floor in various locations throughout the room.
Can not review - we did not stay at the hotel. My husband got sick and we were unable to make the trip to Arlington.
Awesome staff helped with all my quetions
Nothing. Upon arrival we were told that all the king bed rooms were taken which we had reserved prior to. Then we walk into the room that wasn't clean. Beer cans strewed everywhere, beds were filthy and trash all in the room. Not only that but the elevators were out of order and we had to climb 8 flights of stairs each time we left the room. Worst stay ever
I liked the location to the trains going through downtown dallas. It is a high-rise hotel so some rooms overlook downtown. Yes, staff unfriendly and would not answer phone calls to front desk after hours of continous attempts went downstairs in pajamas due to the fact that the heater never worked. Maintance came in to room at 2am even though attempts were made beginning at 11pm. And, the heater was never repaired. The safe in room did not work. The reservation made through booking.com 2 days prior to arrival was not there. So after much delay at front desk and another credit card charge was able to go to room with no heater,no staff that would help, and a safe that did not work.
Rooms were nice and clean. 1 out of 4 elevators were working and we all had to walk 30 flights of stairs with all of our luggage. There was no apology or compensation for anything. I understand technically issues happen but we were on the 30th floor and it had been 8 hours.. ridiculous.
We loved our stay! We were iffy on staying there because of the ratings but it was great. Room was very clean. They do have a parking rate but since you are staying at the hotel the do waive it. It is very quiet and peaceful, our 6 month old slept through the night! Would definitely stay there next time we travel to Dallas! The bathroom tiles in the tub need to be fixed. Nothing major.
Ms Cleo was very helpful
Beautiful looking building. Nice looking lobby, bar, and front desk. Good location for shopping. Rooms outdated. Have to pay for parking, internet, breakfast. Short on the number of towels that you get. Tub had mold around it.
The room itself was nice and we did get an upgrade to a suite. The room wasn't totally clean. Dried soda on counter in kitchenette when we arrived-maids didn't even clean it when I left a note! Dried silly string in pictures and ceiling. Broken furniture. Disappointing. None of the staff smiles or even seems to welcome you at all. Plus--had to pay $17/night for parking garage across the street.
Pros: friendly staff, good location, punctual valet, nice bar. Cons: dirty bathrooms with dirt in bathtub, used soap bar still in shower, carpet felt dirty, extremely outdated furniture (felt like I was in a cheap Vegas hotel), bug crawled on me during sleeping, no breakfast included, have to pay for Internet and parking.
Nice size room and very friendly staff
Over all hotel is nice, near the mall. Staff wasn't very friendly .
The hotel is located across the parkway/tollway from the galleria and is also near a lot of restaurants. Our room was clean and the staff was helpful. Parking at the hotel essentially costs $17 per day ($17 overnight or $28 overnight for valet parking). Otherwise, there are hourly rates available.
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the lake outside
Appearsnce - location - very clean The Noise!!!!!! I did not sleep
Area of city. Hotel lobby space Small bathrooms, no courtesy shuttle, no weekend Happy Hour
I wasn't recognized as a gold member until day 3 of my stay. Subsequently was informed I could not receive Executive Lounge access because I did not book through the proper channels, but was told they'd let it "slide". Housekeeping cleaning rags were left in my room.
our stay was overall good. But the beds take a little bit of getting used to. we will know how to operate them for next time!
We had a very nice evening, going to the Rangers/Yankees game one Saturday -- Really enjoyed the staff and the cocktails. And the Breakfast the next morning. Great pool for kids! Thanks y'all...
The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It's located close to Cowboy Stadium.
A good hotel for the money. beds are confortable and very clean room, they are very busy so dont expect a lot of help from the satff.
We stayed in a king suite during spring break 2010 and it was great. Plenty of room. It was my husband and I and 3 children. Two 11 year olds and one 4 year old. We booked the room through *. Super simple. When we arrived I just showed the front desk my ID and credit card. Then off to our room. Super simple again. We all loved the room. There was a large flat screen tv in the room where the bed was. And did I mention that the bed was soooo comfortable? OMG it was, as were the pillows which were labeled firm and soft. There was not a TV in the liv. room, which we knew ahead of time, so we brought a portable TV for the kids to watch VHS and DVD'S on. The living room had a queen size or full pull out couch which the kids slept on. The swimming pool and exercise room were both great. The swimming pool was warm and the hot tub was hot. We went there every evening after walking around six flags all day. We all crashed hard when we got back to the room. The workout room was large with...
We stayed here while we went to Hurricane Harbor & Six Flags. Very convient to take the trolley everyday, saved alot on parking! The only problem I had with the hotel was the first room we were put in had a cricket problem. I don't like bugs and I defintely don't like bugs in my bed!!!!! We were finally moved to another room for the last night of our stay, wish it would have been sooner. Also, there was absolutley no hot water in the shower in either room. Other than that, rooms were great, staff was great and helpful!
My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn the weekend of the Tim McGraw concert and Dallas Cowboys bash at the Dallas Cowboy stadium. The hotel was located in walking distance of the Cowboys stadium, Ranger stadium and Six Flags, the hotel also offered shuttle to everything except Dallas Cowboy stadium but however my husband and I went ahead and walked needed the exercise anyway because we ate supper at Hooter's. All kinds of restaurants and fast food located across the highway from this hotel all in walking distance, Walmart is also just down the road. This hotel was very clean, staff very polite. Oh my the bed, we slept like babies it was very quiet there!! The restroom was huge had a very large walkin shower!! The hotel was very large and very comfortable. Had internet access in the room, refrigerator, and a microwave, also had a large screen television with a very good selection of channels to watch. An last here the price of the room was very good. I would highly recommend this h...
The hotel was clean and located close to everything we wanted. The only drawback was that I booked a room with two queen beds a week in advance. Upon arrival was told that they only had rooms with kings and a sleeper sofa available. I had to take it since there was no way I wanted to drive around Arlington looking for an available room at the last minute.
This hotel was the best ever, great location, excellent service from the staff. ___ at the front desk went out of his way to make sure we got to the Cowboys game when the local trolley messed up. Took us right over in the hotel van to the main gate, way to go ___.....There was construction in the area but other than that gets 5 stars from me!!!!!!! Bed was so comfortable, slept great.
This was my second time to stay at this Hotel, we loved it the first time and the second stay was just as good if not better. The staff at both the Hotel and Lounge are excellent. Was a little pricey but being so close to the Cowboys Stadium it was worth it. Barbara Lakeland, FL
As soon as we walked through the doors we were greeted with a friendly 'Hello.' The staff was always pleasant and very helpful. Room was HUGE!! and very clean. The shower head was located up high, which is great for my 6'4' husband. He didn't have to duck! Only 2 complaints. We were next to the elevator, couldn't hear much from other guest but the doors would ding ALL THE TIME! Is the ding even necessary?!?! The restaurant speed. There was only 1 other family there when we went in, but the food took FOREVER! (45 mins. for a burger and pasta) Though the waiter was friendly and it all tasted great. We will stay again though :)
Its was so nice and awesome! and the Staff was Awesome! only things i would change is to put a pool outside, the inside one is great but very cold but good...also the food and service in the resturant was not the best but I didnt judge the hotel on that...overall we really liked it and it was very conveinent for what we were there to do.
We stayed here while visiting Dallas for a Mavs game, because we wanted to see the new Texas Stadium. The hotel is very nice, very clean, and very quiet. It had everything we wanted in a motel. The road construction is a huge issue, but that is to be expected with all that is going on. Once we figured it out, we had few problems over our 3 night stay. It is a bit out of the way if your activities are in Dallas, but for the Arlington area, it is awesome!
Location nearby entertainment and business areas; easy access to freeways to travel around Arlington and Metroplex. Rooms very comfortable and have small refrigerator and microwave to bring your own food in. Coffee maker. Whole Foods and several groceries nearby; Starbucks nearby. Staff was very very helpful, courteous anxious to please. At every shift. Arrived at midnight on Sunday night of three day weekend; older teens walking around and smelled marijuana outside. Made me a little nervous going in. If you are a single adult professional would not suggest going on three day weekend-lots of older teens hanging around common areas. Made me as a woman traveling alone uncomfortable/nervous although staff very nice.
It was convenient to the stadium & they offered a shuttle (for 20.00) round trip to the game.
The gaylord sent me and my 4 yr old granddaughter to the great wolf lodge to swim because their pool was closed and my granddaughter told them all at the reception desk what she was going to do while she was swimming and they felt so bad that they made her 4th birthday perfect. The only thing I did not like was the confusion at check - in because they could not find my reservation.
Room was clean, if you have family there is a lot for kids to do (at least around xmas which is when we went) Glass Cactus club was neat. The pre-check in email asking what your preferences are... DON'T waste 1 minute of your time on that! asked for either a higher room/floor OR a view room... Specifically made a note in the comments that a room higher up was desired.. Got a parking lot, first floor room and the hall was FULL of kids and no parents! Kids were running up and down the halls all day and HALF the night... Also, restaurant staff was not very friendly, lost my reservation and then tried to make ME look like the fool.... But I had a confirmation email to prove the reservation.... So it was just a poor experience.. Staff was either great OR terrible... Grossly understaffed... I know for $220/night it felt more like a "fancy" 2.5 star hotel... I have had much better service at cheaper big-brand hotels and this hotels amenities dod NOT warrant the cost.. I had high hopes for this resort and sadly was let down..
Everything was wonderful
the atrium and restaraunts
Pool and room temperature in pool area was not heated for enjoyment, too cold!!!
This was a great trip!!! I would suggest this hotel to everyone. It was Christmas Time and the hotel was very festive!!!!
The Gaylord Texas was a great stay. We had problems when I got to the hotel (but not with the Gaylord Texan) we called the front desk and they moved us into a larger king size room, large enough to fit two roll away beds for the kids at no extra charge. After this problem the vacation was wonderful. When I booked the hotel room I put down 4 adults where I thought their would be enough room for all four but when we got to the room it was a standard size king room with only a king size room. I was expecting a pull out bed or at least couch for 4 adults. I would suggest showing a room layout for the consumer so someone doesn't get confused with what they are purchasing.
Looking at this place from the outside, you think it is going to be pretty Sweeeeeet! Overall it was, except for the room. Room was clean, but not close to being worth $250 a night. Room was more like what you would see in a 2.0 star hotel. Nothing to brag about at all. If the room was as nice as the rest of the resort you wouldnt be able to say much bad about this place. I would have to say they ARE understaffed for a place this large. Hard to find anybody to help you at times. Seriously, the staff was outstanding if you could find them. However, the rest of the resort was very nice. Actually beautiful atrium area with restaurants (Steak, Italian, Mexican food), good sized fountain, flowers, trees, and other things as well. There were quite of few shops as well bars and sports bars in the resort. They did have a Starbucks in the lobby as well (which made the wife happy as well as the rest of that loooooooong line waiting to get their fix). The water park they have (for guests only) was pretty nice. Adults and kids alike were all enjoying it. They did have a really nice bar there and also served food if you wanted to make a day of it. Overall, pretty nice place The room is a lot to be desired. Stayed at better rooms in a lot CHEAPER motels. Yes, it was clean, but for a $250 a night resort room, I would definitely expect more. A bit understaffed for a place this large. Hard to find anybody to help or even ask questions to, at times. Having to pay $19 dollars to SELF park is ridiculous But then so is $30 for them to park it for you.
Luxury, comfort, convience, surroundings, shopping, service, views, food, availability, decor, location to city attractions, privacy, local to airport. nothing
Always a pleasure Loud outside your room in mornings. Every employee is a tip whore. Get ready to dish out a lot of cash But they deserve it, ofcourse.
I loved everything there was to see and do there. Gorgeous! Everyone was very friendly. The room was tiny.
The quite and relaxed setting Didn't see security on patrol
It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The exercise room was nice. The staff members were friendly and helpful. Nothing
The decor! The moment I walked I was in awe. The bar, restraunt, pool area, lounge area, exercise area, and staff were all colorful, fun, and chill! No microwave and frigarator readily available. TV was off center from the bed.
overall design and look p-tac units were very noisy.
rooms were cool and it was in a cool area. liked it all
We liked the look of the hotel and that it was not surrounded by busy streets. When we got back to our hotel in the evening, it had 5 cop cars around it. The inside of the hotel was so loud you could not even hear yourself. There was a huge party going on downstairs. It continued on until late in the night. More cops came. The hall was super loud and when we asked them nicely to quiet down, they had stuff to say to us that was uncalled for. We called the front desk to ask them to see if they could talk to the other party occupants, and they never did.
Enjoyed my stay worth every penny Everything was great can't complain
Very contemporary style, reminds of big city loft. Furnishings very nice. Huge shower, high end faucets and fixtures. Nice restaurant and bar. Great pool and party area. Concrete floors in rooms. I know it fits the look but it just wasn't exactly what we like. Small think really
Hotel had a very a young and hip vibe to it. Different than any other hotel I have stayed in. Very nice. Nothing bad to say.
Overall fabulous. Clean, interesting, urban space. Good customer service and even a good restaurant.
the atmosphere, the ideal of making a place to stay that is not so ordinary. it's not that I didn't like it but I wish there could've been more mirrors in the bathroom. ( strictly my girlfriends opinion)
Very easy to get to, and conveniently located near places of interest for me. Beds not comfortable. TV reception was in and out.
How close it is to Cowboy Stadium I didn't like that they advertise the walking distance to the stadium ...yet they don't mention that unless you are staying the night of the game you cannot park at the hotel. If there's availability they can issue you a parking pass for $20.
We enjoyed staying at your hotel. The room was neat and clean and the matress was ok. The bedding was not luxury as the internet advertised and that was the reason we chose your hotel. We especially enjoyed the made to order breakfast, it was very good.
