9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable with a good shower.
Cons: Mentioning the car park at the rear at check-in would have been helpful.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was nice.
Cons: As I was leaving, there was someone ahead of me but I think he was waiting for payment to go through. Then the female staff said to me ‘Yes!’, so I said I was checking out. She snatched the key from me and got on with her business. I then said a very shy thank you, goodbye and left. I hope the property owners invest in training front line staff. This is an area that flies the flag of the business. (If she was the same person who was serving breakfast, she was better in that area, maybe that’s where her strength is.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and roomy
Cons: It could do with an update and there were not enough duvets or blankets - we were cold!

Pros: Friendly staff, clean room and very easy access to trains/underground. Nice large room.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel room was very clean and had everything I needed. They let me check in early by making the room available as I had travelled 3 ½ hours to get there and needed to attend a wedding. Staff were helpful and nice e.g. offering to help with my suitcase. The hotel is in a good location and had parking which was an absolute must for me. The street where the hotel is located is quiet and safe but conveniently also a 5 minute walk to a high street where there are loads of shops - tesco, boots, t x maxx, etc.
Cons: Breakfast was good but it would have been better if they had dairy free / vegan options such as vegan butter to put on my toast and soya milk for my tea.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: breakfast was excellent
Cons: On arrival I had a 'nasty' surprise in the bathroom. Whilst the bathroom was clean generally what was inside the toilet wasn't and had been left there to decompose for a few hours. Now here's the thing - I reported this to reception and I was going to dinner kindly requested a response later. Later didn't come and although there are many things I tolerate, a used toilet on arrival is where I draw the line. A couple of days later I called the Holiday Inn group customer service line and they said they would contact the hotel manager and they would call me. I resorted to this as I was unable to make a complaint on line as the system wouldn't recognise my booking for some reason only known to H.I. However I only received a 'tick the box' standard e mail the next day asking me to rate my stay, no phone call. I did this and yet again had no response. Made yet another call to customer services and reported the same. No follow through, I was wasting my time. At the beginning I only wanted an explanation as to how this nasty incident occurred, nothing fancy, no 'one to one' meeting with the CEO just someone appearing to be interested in my complaint and to stop it happening again. Bottom line appears to be that Holiday Inn do not care about the feedback it's clients give and when they do its blatantly ignored. I found the whole process frustratingly difficult and unclear, time wasting and costly (one call used up my safety buffer on my phone) and I can only assume because of this that they expect you to 'go away' and not bother them anymore. So I will. I didn't intend originally to report this outside of the hotel group as I felt it could be dealt with very simply but because of their appalling attitude and bunker mentality I have resulted to this review. Overall I like the Holiday Inn hotels' but this experience has naturally affected my view. Paul K
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The overall experience and friendly staff
Cons: The bed was a little hard and pillows hard too.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The beds were comfy.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the restaurant and Starbucks! The pool was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: That we had to leave!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, well cooked and a good variety of available items. I enjoyed the watermelon and the mini pancake machine. We enjoyed using the leisure facilities, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, swimming pool and gym. Everything was cleaned to the standard of a 5* hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff.
Cons: Breakfast was nothing special. Most of the food was lukewarm. Better not to serve hot food at all than to serve food which should be hot at low temperatures.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good, the staff in particular where very good, especially Lyndy..
Cons: The smell of the room was not nice.. it smelt of stale smoke. There was an incident on the second night where there was an arguement outside in the car park, a group of drunk young people shouting, swearing and nearly having a fight. This was a 3am and last about an hour, which meant a very disruptive night and very little sleep.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Staff at reception very welcoming. We went with our daughter and son in law. The chambermaids gave us some extra milk and were very kind. The breakfast was superb. Pros: Wide choice of breakfast available
Cons: If we did not take breakfast between 6.30 & 7.00 the fried eggs and the bacon were hard and almost impossible to eat. The rotary toaster required the bread to go through twice to become toasted. We had to remove two settings at a four person table to have enough room to eat our breakfast on
7.0 Good

Cons: They are nice people
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Where to start! The people next door smoked cannabis, played music, talked loudly and banged around their room all night. It was terrible. There is no one on reception to speak to about it. I didn't get any sleep at all. Even a budget location should have some standards. This was the worst place I have ever stayed in and I travel regularly to London for work. Absolutely do not consider this. I would have had a better time on the street
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The price
Cons: The lady in the room next to me decided to ring someone at 02.00 hors in the morning for the rest of the night. The walls are so thin all I could hear was her. Please never put yourself through staying here. The price is good but if you don't get any sleep what is the point? Oh and no one to speak to about it as the reception shutters are down during the night. All in all very very poor. Really not worth saving yourself a few pounds to have no sleep and have to listen to whoever is next door to you all night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a very good experience with this hotel and its friendly personnel. First of all it was no problem to check in early - this helped us a lot. We had a very practical family room which had separate bedroom for kids, rather simple, just enough space for everything, two small bathrooms. Location is great, quiet neighborhood, it is outside of London itself but Tfl Station is less than 5 minutes away and generally travel time to any place in the city center was 30-45 min. We liked also: English breakfast, USB outlets to charge phones and tea making facilities. And it is so much cheaper than any reasonable place in the city. Definitely recommended.
Cons: Wifi was not working during one day.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The reception staff were great and showed us to our room .. lovely room and vet clean
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location, decorated well and great transport links. Rooms are spacious, tea and coffee making facilities as well as an iron and ironing board. Breakfast was cooked well, good variety of hot and cold options.
Cons: Trying to locate parking was complicated. There should be a sign at the back to make it obvious what unit belongs to the hotel. Other than that there’s nothing I’d complain about. Would definitely stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was nothing with which to find fault Price and value really good.
Cons: NOTHING.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and tidy look
Cons: Was too hot in the rooms

Cons: I liked everything.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the location was fantastic, on the doorstep to everything from restaurants, to shisha cafe, to coffee shops and also the shopping mall!! train station just across the road from which you can catch the train to stratford.
Cons: the air con in one of my rooms was not working properly, and no one came to sort it out, although i did report it on day 2 of my 4 night stay. receptionist did say that he will sort out the rate if not sorted - another room would have sufficed!!
7.1 Good
Pros: Air con was good when its was 33°C outside
Cons: Asked for a parking space and had to park in a multi story
6.7 Good
Pros: Clean, modern, nice style
Cons: Parking facilities

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: I was never there
7.1 Good
Pros: clean environment
Cons: The size of the bedroom was very small
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was ok.
Cons: Difficulty finding room and spending nearly an hour getting into a room as key cards didn’t work on two rooms, staff just kept giving us extra cards to try. Receptionist not very courteous.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: To be honest - that is relatively hard but the lobby / breakfast area was decorated modern and looked quite nice.
Cons: So, my expectations were already not up in the air but I was shown that it was even worst than anything I had expected. Check in was not welcoming or friendly at all - I think the cashier at the supermarket is nicer and friendlier. Well okay. So if to the room on the ground floor. Everything in the room was dirty. The desk had some sticky stuff from the previous guest I assume, the floor (thankfully not carpet) had dirt and undefinable bits and pieces all over it, the bathroom floor was sticky and had “not to be further classified” stain all over it. Oh and the bed had loads of hair on it. Plus the sheet was too small. I ended up asking for a bigger sheet which was answered by: we don’t have bigger sheets. So I asked for a second sheet then which was handed to me without any question of how everything was or whether I needed any help. At check out very early in the morning I was told that the printer doesn’t work and that they might send the invoice via mail. When I said that I needed it for the company they then tried and “magic” the printer did work. Again, by the way, without any question on how my stay /night/experience anything was. Because London was really busy I paid a much higher price than I guess is normal - but at least try and make an effort then. I don’t expect a big room or loads of amenities but some service and cleanliness would be nice - regardless of price and Hotel star rating. Quite good that there normally are alternatives in london for the same price range and will surely never in my lifetime return.
6.0 Good
Pros: Basic hotel in centre of London for bargain price
Cons: Beds were hard
5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Slippers with payment!
6.7 Good
Pros: It was clean and near a supermarket.
Cons: Honestly I don’t think it was worth the money as the staff didn’t seem very attentive or hospitable. Most of times my guests and I felt like a burden to them. It’s near a motorway so it got quite loud at night. Also there wasn’t a kettle in the rooms which unusual. We also had issues with our room key.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good - big supermarket next door and trains to London not too far away. Good value for money.
Cons: A bit far away from Central London.
7.5 Good
Pros: position ok, parking is easier, close to the big road
Cons: after checking in the room already have a guy inside, it's truly bad management.

Pros: Convenient lication
Cons: No air-conditioning. Noisy.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Very small room. No ventilation ,too hot even with windows open was abit of a downer.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms are very small, bathroom small, it extremely hot, no AC
7.4 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly, very helpful, and we enjoyed them very much. The rooms were well stocked, and had all the necessities.
Cons: The location. This felt like we had landed in a very seedy part of London, which wasn't reflected in the online ad. We had to walk about 6 blocks from parking to hotel, and the area felt unsafe at night, with men in the streets urinating. Not a place I will return to. The bed was small and VERY hard. Probably one of the most uncomfortable stays I've ever had at a Best Western.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very accommodating and will give good advises on where to. The room is clean tho i dont like carpet. The bed was very comfortable
Cons: Very small room. You have no place to open baggage.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location is good, on a busy street but close to train station. Breakfast included was a good thing, but unacceptable that it was served in lobby while the breakfast room was rented out for seminars.
Cons: The staff is awful and very unprofessional. They ran it like B&B, not a hotel. Impossible to speak to management, as she is so busy and no one new when she will be around. No phone number nor callback.
7.9 Good
Pros: + Breakfast was prepared and served on demand, not just buffet!!! + Patient staff with difficult clients we saw there.
Cons: - The rooms could be a bit larger. - A bit far from centre.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good layout of the hotel in Ilford's Cranbrook Road near Ilford station and a Wetherspoons - Free breakfast which was very well served to us and also it really was quite a selection. This is the best value for money hotel that I've stayed at. Full marks.
Cons: Not really very much actually
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good and location was good. Although there was no hotel parking they did give an alternative parking spot which was free.
Cons: In regards to the room itself it was too hot for 4 people. Although we had 2 fans it was not enough. The bathroom was also hot and it didn’t help that the shower was blocked. we would have to wait quite a bit before the next person could shower.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was ok
Cons: No parking very noisy and no air conditioning. Lift not working
7.5 Good
Cons: No others issues except:- Does not let you know if your room is in the best western on main road or Argyle Road I was under the impression from booking.com that I was at the site with parking, which I would have preferred the choice as had to walk quite distance to where was staying as no parking which is inconvenience when have work equipment to carry.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was included which can be rare in the UK. It was more than just a continental breakfast. There were actual cooks who were making meals in request including eggs, sausage, hash browns, and beans. Plenty of different juices and teas.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location, parking, great staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, acess to nearby shops and restaurants. Despite the negative comments that follow I would gladly return. I was very impressed with the assistance afforded to us by the staff - thank you.
Cons: It may be just our room but the bathroom was smelling damp - needs drain cleaner I think. The room (27) was small. We had a second room - accross the road that was much roomier. I will in future speak to hotel on booking to get a better room. Too much 'lowlife' hanging about in the streets outside - perhaps the chain needs to complain to the local Police about the drug users in the locale.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Very warm rooms Dirty carpet Bad shower heads
5.4 Okay
Pros: I liked that a portrait of Her Majesty the Queen was hanging in reception.
Cons: When I entered the very small room, I looked into the bathroom and there was urine in the toilet bowl. When using the shower, one door kept coming off the runner making it difficult to close the shower cubicle. I was also unable to get the tv to work. When turning it on, there was a message on the screen in Spanish, but it would not turn to any channel. I was woken by people making a noise in the next room, and I am certain one of the night porters was in the room talking with the guests. It would have been better for him to encourage them to respect other guests, or to have taken them to the dining room, like he did when I called reception to complain. Very disappointed with the lack of parking in relation to the number of rooms in the hotel. I was lucky that a neighbour let me park my car. Breakfast was ok, but not great.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and included in the price. The price of the room was very affordable for London. The guests were mostly families on vacation.
Cons: The picture of the hotel is only one of the buildings they have. I was put across the street in a converted old home (which is normal for London) but the room was tiny; if I was a heavier person I could have hardly fit. The neighborhood is mostly Pakistani and very diverse; no problem there, however lots of men hanging out in the streets late at night. The train into central London does not run on weekends so I had to take a long bus ride. I don't think I would stay there again.
7.1 Good
Pros: Room was nice and size was good also very helpful service from staff and the location was great near the town centre and all facilties near us, we would stay again
Cons: The ceiling was too low in room and would like a bigger room next time and high bed as well it was the case of being careful all times even kids
4.2 Okay
Pros: breakfast was ok
Cons: i was charged 2ce.. i complained and nuffin is being done about it. There is never a manager to speak or complain too. even after constantly calling for days and sending them an email. i will not be using this hotel ever again and will also share my experience with my friends
5.8 Okay

Cons: The curtains didn’t fit the the window The shower / wet room has broken tiles on the floor.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the parking, the size of the room, the bathroom and the comfort
Cons: Dining room was too crowded and warm, breakfast choice was good but not hot
3.3 Mediocre

Pros: It was our second stay at this hotel. We had a much bigger room during our first stay a few months ago, so I was really impressed then. But, to be honest, I could not complain about anything particular during our second stay. Room was clean, bathroom as well. Good breakfast. Kind staff. Good WI-FI connection. Free parking onsite. I will definitely book this hotel again as it's a great value for money.

Pros: Was in London for the Prudential Ride London event. Hotel was located a few miles from the start line. Staff were very helpful and was able to keep my bike in my room with no problems. Located very close to town, and to train station. Single room was spacious. Great value for money stay, especially for London area.
Cons: Arrived at 1530 but no parking spaces available. Not the hotels fault though, and able to park on single yellow lines after 6.30pm

Pros: The staff here are always friendly and helpful, so I stay here whether I'm in town.
Cons: I'd like to see this hotel introduce a restaurant and/or Superrooms, though I appreciate this may not be possible due to location.

Pros: Room was great for the price, and even better than that. The receptionists, Ainne and Adil, were super kind and helped us with every question we had about the hotel and surroundings. Every recommendation for this hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, staff very polite and helpful, great location.
Cons: The hotel staff reassured me there would be plenty of parking the entire stay, but that was not the case about half the time.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Was spotless clean
Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very lovely staff, upgraded us to the superior room when we arrived!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property was very clean and comfortable, Vipin the Receptionist is very friendly and welcoming. Staying here is certainly good value for money & I would most definitely recommend it.
2.2 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The hotel is disgusting
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Overall very good
8.2 Excellent
Cons: My room did not have a window, only a little sky light. Breakfast was sub standard
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is perfect if you want to be near the centre of Ilford and its train station and shopping. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, also a Wetherspoons and a couple of Irish pubs. Indoor decor modern and good quality but could do with a little more perfectionism regarding the maintenance. Breakfast brought to your room - a choice of two cereals, milk and a packaged chocolate croissant and a packaged strawberry cake. (Ideal to take with you if you want to eat later.)
Cons: Needs more TLC regarding maintenance of the facilities, but nothing seriously out of order. Parking could be problematic if more than 5 guests arrived with cars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: value for money
Cons: No proper breakfast offered
7.9 Good
Pros: Welcoming staff. Cereal breakfast provided in room at time of your choosing.
Cons: Room extremely hot with poor ventilation leading to a very strong smell of damp. This was somewhat mitigated with good air-con and a separate fan. Lots of noise as if somebody moving furniture.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All good inc staff nice lot
