Very poor. I tried to save some money with a cheap rental from budget and ended up regretting it. arrived to the desk for car pickup and encountered a long line of customers with understaffed budget team and vehicles not available. Was told over 2 hour wait time for vehicle. I cancelled online because i could not wait 45+ minutes to get to the front of the line to cancel with the budget employee. I got a rental from hertz immediately, where i have presidents circle status, but i cost roughly an extra $100.. Then budget charged me for their rental and i have initiated a time consuming process to try to recoup my charges from budget.Reviewed 2 Mar 2026

Over 10 minute wait at JFK. Other rental agencies had a minimal wait. Agents giving paper copies instead of digital contracts like major rental companies. Drive away was good. Return at ALB was confusing with GPS taking me to back of their lot. Had to return in the airport terminal vs a dedicated return line.Reviewed 1 Mar 2026

Agent Romy at location V8Z was exceptionally helpful. He was patient enough to educate me on my first experience with a hybrid vehicle and again when I had to extend my rental. I needed a vehicle while waiting for a new engine in my own car--a very stressful situation. Romy made it much easier for me. Thank you. When we arrived they told us they didn't have the size vehicle we had reserved and confirmed. We had to cancel the reservation and find a new company which didn't have what we needed, ended up driving a jump 15 passenger van instead of a mini van and had to pay more money.Reviewed 27 Feb 2026

I reserved a rental car but when I arrived, they said they had no cars and that I would be 5th in line. (This is at a one gate airport.) Had to immediately scramble to find alternative transportation somewhere else. Very disappointing.Reviewed 26 Feb 2026

Bad. Reserved the car online. Paid for an Uber to get there. They didn't have the car or any car apparently for us to rent. They wouldn't check any of the other locations for a car. The guy was no help. Then we had to pay for another Uber to take us back to our hotel. Wasted time and money.Reviewed 26 Feb 2026
