We arrived 30 min before their closing time, but the entire staff was gone. We called and walked around and could not find anyone to give us our car. We had to go to Alamo to rent a car at 1 AM so we could drive a couple more hours to our destination. When talking with someone on the customer service line, they said there was nothing they could do and suggested we just take an Uber (at our own expense). First, the location was terrible. We were using gps and our Uber driver was doing his best but it is hidden out of sight. The address sends you to the drop off rather than the pick up. Second, when we arrived at 9 am the waiting area was full and then we were told there were NO cars!! I had made my reservation months in advance. All the following days of our trip had reservations that could no longer be cancelled. People were getting increasingly disgruntled. There were only 2 employees to check folks in. Slowly vehicles started drifting in and we finally got our car by 11. But this should never happen!! On a positive note, we had reserved an SUV but were given a mini van for the same price and we enjoyed it and it provided the space we needed.Reviewed 15 Oct 2024
