Pros: Once I got to the head of the line the counter person was efficient and helpful. The man who get me into the Preferred Club on the phone was efficient.
Cons: I waited an hour and a half to pick up my reserved car. The two people working the counter took only people in the preferred club and the wait in the non preferred club stretched to two hours. It was evident the management had no regard for customer time. I made the switch to the preferred club by calling the company during the wait. It was impossible to do it on line.

Cons: I was unable to rent a car with my debit card and it caused me to miss two of my close friends wedding. I had the money for the hold and the rental fee but due to a new policy that was not listed on the website, i was unable to rent. Everybody does not have credit cards so i got punished because i didnt have a credit card. what sense does that make??

Waiting around for a dirty car to arrive
Cons: I didn't appreciate waiting nearly an hour for a rental car that when it arrived had clearly been smoked in. I generally only rent with Hertz but I couldn't get a reservation with them. I'd heard good things about budget and decided to give hem a try. I won't make that mistake again.

Piece of Junk
Pros: The rep at the agent where I rented was very friendly and professional. The customer service rep, Celia, I spoke to was excellent and stepped up when no other agent we spoke to did. The tow agent I spoke to was friendly, courteous and apologetic, again something most of the customer service reps I spoke to were not.
Cons: The car was horrible! It was dented and scratched all over the place and smelled when we picked up. The biggest issue was that as soon as we hit 30 or 40 it sounded like we were in the middle of a tornado. We reported this to the agent immediately after renting and were told we could return and pick up a compact instead of a full size. UNACCEPTABLE. Spoke to many customer service reps and agents to see if we could trade in and received zero help. Talked to roadside assistance to see if we could swap and were told we would have to pay for tow. Really?? Had to drive in that piece of junk for 12+ hours between the multiple stops we were going.

Pros: Car was fine. Worked great
Cons: Waited over an hour to get car after flight landed. Line was long and slow and then we waited another 25 min after I checked in to actually be told to walk outside to wait for car there.

Ran out of cars
Pros: They ran out of cars! I waited for 45 minutes and all the people ahead of me set and fumed as well. Finally I went next-door to thrifty and got a car. It's like a baker running out of flour ! Inexcusable!

The pickup was horrible
Pros: I upgraded for a bit more and the car was nice and it was as a great price
Cons: I waited for 25 minutes in line and after 10 minutes with the agent she walked away and out of the terminal without a word. Another 15 minutes later I was told a car would be ready in 30 minutes. So over 1 1/2 hours after my reservation time. At that time I asked what cars were available and were told I could upgrade to an SUV for more $ with no compensation given. Had the first agent told me that I would have just done that an hour before. There were at least 20 people in line behind us at that point. They said they had nothing below an SUV and were cleaning and gassing the cars as they came in. I'd never experienced anything like that, and hopefully never will again. That was awful customer service.

Great value on Budget SUV rental for 10 days
Pros: It was very clean and ready when I got there. The price was right.
Cons: Trunk space was not impressive.

Strong smell in car...
Pros: Easy to rent through website. Front desk attendants were both very quick. No waiting at all.
Cons: There was a very strong smell in the car, which included a hint a cigarette smoke. Drove car for a week and the smell was just as strong when we dropped off.

Pros: Located right at terminal entrance. Pull into a spot, unload, they print you a reciept and you are on your way!
Cons: Nothing not to like! Only one guy for many companies, but still took less than 5 min.

Good experience after rough start
Pros: Got the vehicle I wanted. Vehicle was clean and suited my needs well. Drop off could not be better: instant inspection and then I was off to the airline sign in desk.
Cons: Vehicle was not ready when I arrived, but agent gave me an ETA for the vehicle and it arrived by said time, which was good.

Cons: The woman behind the counter told me I was rude when I told her I was in a hurry and I did not want to listen to her optional coverage etc.

Pros: The second car they gave me was fine. The tow truck came quickly.
Cons: First I had to wait over 30 minutes for a car as none were clean and ready to go. The car I was given never ran properly and I thought I would drive it to the Jacksonville airport and exchange it. Unfortunately It broke down and had to be towed and I had to get a new car. I am a 65 year old with cancer. This is not what I needed.

Terrible Customer Service
Cons: After losing an hour of my life that I will never get back, they still didn't have a car ready for me, despite the fact that I made the reservation ahead of time. I gave up and cancelled the reservation and left. My favorite part was the employees who work at the booth outside talking about Budget as "they" and acting like there was nothing they could do to help me. Really bad customer service.

Pros: The staff was very informative and polite. I was suppose to have picked up car at 7 a m did not arrive till 10. They still had a car I could rent.

Pros: Drop off was easy, the car was very good on fuel, and it was a veryt simple process.
Cons: The car wasn't that great for brand new, occasional difficulty starting. I couldn't get the car an hour early which was inconvenient. And I was surprised that bringing it back an hour late was an extra full day charge.

Cons: I was emailed my confirmation noting my pickup time was 5pm. I arrived at the Budget car rental at 4:50pm to find the doors locked and office closed for the day. After reading the Center hours I noticed it closes at 5pm. So not only did I receive a pick up time same as the closing time. Even arriving ten minutes prior to that time the center was already closed.

Pros: Even with no one else at the check in counter it took over 15 minutes to get the paperwork done because he couldn't find a car for us. Then with my wife's bad knee, we had to walk two blocks to the pick up place. There we had to wait with no place to sit for another half hour before the car arrived. The was a water cooler there "for Budget customers" that was empty.
Cons: We won't use Budget anymore.

Budget needs a faster check in and check out proc
Pros: The car was a nice new car and very comfortable.
Cons: We had to wait in long lines to both pick up and drop off the car. Once we signed in and were assigned a car we were then told we had to wait for the car to arrive. We waited another 20 minutes before the car was made available to us. Then when we went out to get the car we were given the wrong car. After we loaded our luggage, we realized the key would not start the car. We then had to go back to the outside attendant and explain that the key did not work. The attendants then figured out that they had given us the wrong car. We then transferred out luggage. The entire process took us close to an hour.
