Pros: I enjoyed the kind of car I got, also the comfort of the car and the rental person, Eddie was very pleasant and did a fantastic job with the rental!!

Pros: The car (Nissan Rogue) was quite roomy
Cons: I wish the Kayak Web site was clearer about where the cars are. I entered Savannah airport and ended up with a car from down town Savannah. I had to cancel and rebook for a much higher price.

Misleading search feature and extra payments required; no cars at airp
Pros: Car was clean. That's it.
Cons: I searched for Savannah airport rental car pickup ONLY and one would think that is what would show as options....especially the very first option that was listed. But not the case. I picked the first option shown assuming it was airport pickup, but it was a location that was 20 minutes away / $22 Uber ride. I had to pickup someone in Hilton Head airport, so this was the first problem encountered. I asked if they had any cars to let me rent at the Savannah airport Hertz and was told there were none. Not sure if that was even true. When I finally arrive to the alternate Hertz 20 mins away, I run into insurance problems. My credit card ALWAYS picks up insurance and I let the guy know this. He didn't seem to understand me and instead, made me give him my insurance company's phone number so he could verify I had personal insurance. This turned out to be a huge delay and ran into issues here, too. I eventually had to call a family member to try and find out what was going on with the insurance company saying they couldn't find the policy (which WAS found in time)....anyways, in the process of my telling my family what was going on at Hertz....the madness...the sales rep guy interrupts saying, "Oh, YOUR credit card will pickup the insurance?" Ughhhh!!! I said, "yes, that is what I was trying to tell you all along." At that point, he said he could let that work and nothing else was needed. Just ridiculous the amount of time this all took. On the drive back, I called in to ask if I could just return it to the airport instead of the Victory Drive location and they said yes....but ended up charging me $15 to do so. When I left, the bill was $26 extra...not $15....but I was late and needed to just get to my gate to catch my flight so I let it go. This was really poor service all around and I would like compensation for all my troubles. My car rental time period was 10/24 - 10/28 and my name is Emily S, if management happens to read this.

They cancelled last minute
Cons: I received a call two hours before I was to pick up my rental car telling me they didn't have a car for me. I was willing to change the type of vehicle, but they said they didn't have a single car on the lot. This was 2pm on a Friday afternoon and at that point none of the other rental car agencies had cars either (except one at the airport that was charging $200+/day for a compact...). I handled the news pretty well even though it completely messed up my weekend plans. But the Hertz employee was more interested in feeling sorry for himself, "Think about my situation..I have to call 50 other people now and deliver the same bad news." Not impressed.
