Cons: Everything. When I arrived they overcharged me complete stay without warning. Inaceptable in a Hotel that is supposed to be 5 stars. I’ve been in other hotels in Argentina and around the world they never charge me complete stay in advance. Customer service wasn’t professional. I find a cheaper hotel and better not far away. Also is outdated

Pros: The location was brilliant, just near a subway station. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had excellent choice as well. The reception provides excellent service as well, Luis was very helpful during check in. He gave me detailed information about the city, free map and guidebooks were provided. Pros: The pool & buffet breakfast were amazing! It was a chilly day in Buenos Aires so the indoor heated pool was very nice and I definitely put that to use. It is modern and clean and I enjoyed the cabanas and complimentary fresh juice. The view from the pool deck is outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. They offered a wide assortment. Best breakfast I have had during my stay in Argentina. The rooms are large and the beds are large and comfortable. I slept very well. I enjoyed the spa tubs and the bathrooms are very chic! Only issue was the faucet...a little quirky at times but nothing major to complain about. I enjoyed the hardwood flooring and felt very safe in my hotel room.

Pros: The mattress in our room could be replaced. It was like sleeping on a rolling slope of hills, basically it was lumpy. The breakfast was great the first day, however by the 5th day I was craving something else! Good selection of food, the scrambled eggs were runny. It's free so these are minor complaints. The hotel is right near the "obelisk." It's centrally located which makes it ideal. Quick cab rides to all the barrios.

Cons: For a nice hotel like this one, they did not have hair dryers or converters. I would have been happy to pay for a converter if they offered one so it was a little annoying and a bit of a hassle to go out searching for one. I wasted about 45min of my time but eventually found one at a local market shop for very cheap.

Cons: Breakfast was average. The airconditioner in the room was at times a bit noisy which made sleep disrupted. It would be nice to have had a sofa in the loungeroom instead of 2 separate chairs.

Cons: Cleanliness once off the ground floor was average at best - stains on the walls around the toilet. Wet water marks along the base of the walls in the guest room hallways. We had hoped to let the kids burn off some energy at the pool, but didn't see that the pool is only available for those over 13. We had four in our room, however only two towels. we called for two more, but they never came - the door into the service area had been left open by one of the staff, so we found two extras ourselves sitting in the storage.

Pros: The new tower is quiet and modern. The lobby of he old tower is bigger and more luxurious but my understanding is the rooms are older although I never saw them.
Cons: They seemed to have certain websites blocked since Internet was working fine but some sites would not work in the hotel. Very strange.

Pros: The location is the best selling point. The room was spacious and well kept, the lobby was grande, and the recommendations from the staff were great. The breakfast was better than average and hours for breakfast were much better than average. It was overall a very nice stay in a beautiful city.
Cons: The pool was closed, because it is not summer season. The hallways looked a little tired, and laundry services woke us up a little early each morning.

Cons: 1. The staff at the front desk made us feel unwelcomed. They did not put smiles on their faces and did not give out information about the city (including map) voluntarily. We had to ask for everything. 2. Although the superior room had a good view, the damaged bath tub and some broken furnitures need to be replaced.

Cons: Everything. I am very disappointed with booking.com and may not use you any more because I can't trust you any more. The hotel was billed as 5 star. It is at the most a 3 star. The rooms are very old and in bad state of repair. I found a safety pin on the floor of my bathroom that I could have stepped on. The shower doors leaked. The toilet was from the 1980's. The hotel booked a transfer from the Airport which arrived 1 hour late and charged $35USD when a regular taxi is $11USD. The breakfast was barely edible and would have been ok in a travelodge but not a hotel that is supposed to be 5 stars. The staff were rude and inattentive. I asked them to book a taxi for me to return to the airport and watched them write it down in their book and they just didn't book it. So at 6am, I was scrambling to get a taxi. What a thoroughly horrible place run by incompetent staff.

Cons: It was a nice place to stay, but definitely not a 5 star hotel. First of all the breakfast was not excellent as many reviews would describe it, there was not a lot of options or varieties. For a five star hotel there must at least be fresh juices or freshmade eggs on order. For meats their was only pork to select from. The staff at the reception should been educated in being more welcoming, only one younger guy with glasses in the reception where smiling and concerning about the guests needs and well being. Further I would recommend the cleaning personnel to knock on the door before entering. All in all a good hotel with room for minor improvements. :)

Cons: There was nothing bad - just a few small touches that fell short when compared with other places I’ve stayed. The decor was a bit dated throughout the building. We got twin beds even though we were a couple. Our toilet clogged the second time we used it. The furniture was padded with carpet cutouts beneath on the hardwood floor but it looked just a little unkempt. The toiletries weren’t the nicest quality and the hair dryer was cheap and ended up singeing my hair. These are small things and not huge in the grand scheme of things, but enough to make me reconsider booking for next time.

Cons: It is a historic building, so there are some quirks, but in my opinion, well worth it. My only issue is that Wi-Fi should be included. However, it is for free in the lobby.

Pros: Everything. It is conveniently located near everything from Puerto Maduro and the Buquebus Terminal to the Obelisk and Casa Rosada. It is also not far from the metro and several bus lines. The room was clean and incredibly comfortable. The complimentary breakfast buffet was also fantastic, with plenty of great options and good coffee. The bar is fairly priced and well stocked. Without a doubt, I would stay again.

Cons: The air conditioning was noisy - not the one in the room which we kept off, there was some sort of central system that we could hear. The hotel I would say is more like 3 stars - lobby and room looks good like 4 stars but bathroom was 3 stars - a bit older and the shower head was a bit broken.

I did lodge a complaint on their complaints book and later on the day they returned my money with all sorts, again, of rubbish excuses. Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable and had deep, permanent depressions from previous use - neither of us slept at all well. There is no coffee machine in the room. The gym equipment is from a past century.

Cons: Booked a suite for a week. It was very old fashioned and seriously out of date. How this hotel has a 5 Star rating is beyond me. The week we were staying there, the whole pool and pool area was closed. No explanation why. The very reason we booked the hotel. Shower tray in the bathroom was old, peeling and disgusting. Everything else is out of date by at least 20 years. Tried contacting the hotel via this site, and via messanger and email. No Reply. we checked out after the first night when we realised we had no pool to use. Receptionist pointed out the the tiniest * to say the pool would be closed. Maybe this might be a HEADLINE in red, when you put in the dates? He was very kind to cancel the rest of the week though FOC.

Cons: It needs to be refurbished. The community kitchen is a disaster. Not enough crockery or cooking equipment....e.g. 2 teaspoons, a handful of other cutlery and maybe 4 or 5 cups for general use. No access to kitchen before 11.30am.

Cons: After a week in ushuaia I’ve booked this place to have a private room with a big bed and unfortunately when I arrived they told me they overbooked the double rooms so gave me a dorm instead. They were nice as they offered me the breakfast to compensate but it’s still annoying when you don’t have what you booked so I wouldn’t recommend the place.

Pros: Everything was in walking distance for me. 20 minute walk to Recoletta 5 minute walk to LaSalle st (pedestrian shopping and restaurants) 6 blocks to Obelisk 15 minutes to The Pink House Great cheap empanadas directly across the street at the 25hrs store. Super friendly and helpful staff. Ordered taxi to the airport for me at 2:30am. Room was large, bed comfortable, although could use some updates. AC stayed on even when room card was removed for power.

Cons: It was very cold in the room, even with the two extra blankets I had on the bed. The carpets were dirty and gross and the surfaces of all the tables were greasy, as well as the remote for the TV. The bathroom was extremely small, the wifi barely worked, and it wasn't located in the best part of town.

Cons: The reception attendant who was working during the day is not well prepared to work in a hotel, is was smoking while people were waiting in front of the desk. And came back smelling cigarettes , that's horrible for people who don't smoke. and he is not very polite also.

Cons: Super slow elevators. They were out of the eggs by 8am and did not bring more out. Small bathroom with possible mold on carpet at entry. Difficult for cabs and tours to get to because of busy downtown traffic.

Pros: The hotel is nice facility but it is in desperate need of attention.The carpets in hallway and room are disgusting to be nice.The Internet is the worst internet in all my world travels absolutely useless.You can't even send emails efficiently or just use what's app properly.I had serious problems staying in touch with work and most importantly my wife and young son.Everyday 2-3 times a day I had to call the front desk and they are very honest and aware of the problem.The issue is they the staff can't fix it. The first room I was booked in I had to run back to reception and I have photos of How disgusting it was.Thank God for Carolina at front desk whose English and manners are first rate.She is an absolute star.She got me changed to another room and even though the bad needs to be dumped and carpet changed.She saved my trip.The staff are good people very helpful,and locationsuperb.Thats it Rooms are disgusting and are the worst I have seen,I have seen some horrible ones,being aHotelier for 15 years.So I know what I am talking about,this hotel is a goldmine with cheap owners who won't invest to fix the issues.

Cons: This is misrepresented in the ads and photos. Its advertised as a 4 star hotel with beautiful pictures of the room but it was not at all what we experienced. The reception was unwelcoming and slow, the elevators did not work well, the hallways were old and dingy with ripped carpet, there was ripped carpet in the room, there were stains on the furniture and shower curtain, the wood along the walls was falling apart, there is no WIFI in the rooms, the bathroom had stained tile, and I could go on. Would not recommend.
