The helpfulness of the staff at Reception was very high. I have an accident with my glasses and needed selotape and a pair of scissors. This was produced very quickly. Directions to a local restaurant was also quickly provided together with a large scale map. Quality of the breakfast can be better.
The location is excellent. Very close to the city but away from the bustling crowd. The gardens looking out to the river is perfect for a summer wedding. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern with generous supply of toiletries. The internet service is slow in the rooms and rather expensive.
Hotel was fine but price was not. Friend booked the same room for £79 via Secret Room.com, you charged us £199 per night so we are very, very unhappy about that. The price.
Small, friendly, good standard of room and convenient location.
clean, cosy room in style, looking at a large park. the lack of parking facilities should be clearly marked. There was no chance to park (or even to stop) at the hotel. I had to park the car at the Queen Anne parking house, 10 min. walk in the rain with the luggage. the payment is in coins only at the payment automats.

Good location, friendly staff, and clean. The room decor, doors, bathrooms, lighting, furniture, twin beds (with no option to push them together), no air conditioning (an oscillating fan was located in the closet), two faucet sink with poor functioning faucets, linoleum bathroom floor, and rippled carpet all made the hotel room seem like it was from the 1950s, Also,the channel changing function on the television fluctuated wildly (once I selected a channel, it would work until I changed the channel... at which point the screen would go dark and sound would stop). I would have to shut off the power and restart the television, scroll through the programs, and make a selection, Then when I wanted to change the channel, I would have to repeat the restart process. On my departure day, the wall outlets lost power.
