7.1 Good
Pros: The cleanliness of the elevators, hallways and common area need some work. Overall the rooms are clean but old. The bath tub did not drain well and only put half the water up from the tub faucet when you pulled to to shower mode. The shower curtain rod was lose so the curtain did not stay closed and water ended up on the floor. I told the front desk when we checked out. Probably will not stay here again.
Cons: The front desk person was really fast and knowledgeable about the area during checkin

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, great restaurants
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast buffet is good, but scrambled eggs tend to become rubbery and dry as they sit. How about cheese omelets - they seem to stay softer and moist in similar buffet situations that we have experienced. Really like the selections on the breakfast menu - eggs benedict, Joes skillet, etc.
Cons: Appreciated the safety bar in the shower, but wonder if there are any rooms that have raised toilets for us old folks whose legs don't work as well as they once did. Getting down and up from low toilets can be a challenge!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was convenient and met our expectations well.
Cons: NO.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to shops & food.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The location was good. Lots of shops & restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: It was very run down and in desperate need of an update. It didn’t seem very tidy. The staff was friendly but they were not really giving you that extra hotel experience to make sure you were comfortable and enjoying your stay. I haven’t stayed at a Hilton hotel before and I don’t think I will after this particular experience. Perhaps another hotel chain can do better because that location really deserves it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Campbell Inn is located within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping, and a movie theater!
4.0 Okay
Pros: The toilet did not work in the first room. The second room maintenance had to come look at the tv because it wasn't working. The Campbell Inn USED to be a really nice place to stay. It's gone WAY DOWNHILL!!!!
Cons: Old and outdated!!! What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!
5.0 Okay
Pros: location was good for us. good parking
Cons: 1. the first room was VERY noisy as it was close to the busy street. 2. the first room had completely cold water until you ran the water for almost 30 minutes. The was a huge and illegal waste of water as it would have filled more than 6 full bathtubs. They should have recirculating pumps to fix this. 3. On the 2nd day we were moved to another room closer to the hot water heater. The hot water pressure in that room was way too low as if the pipes were blocked from corrosion. 4. The breakfast room had only fruit for us as we are vegetarian. There was nothing else suitable. There were large printed signs on the wall saying "We will be glad to assist you if you ask" and since we are elderly I asked the kitchen staff to either cut the fruit pieces to be small enough to fit on a spoon or alternately loan us a knife to cut it ourselves. The head of the kitchen said NO WE WILL NOT HELP YOU AND NO WE WILL NOT LOAN YOU A KNIFE! Not only was this opposite of their posted signs, it is a violation of Disabilities laws. 5. We were also charged an additional $50.00 deposit fee not mentioned in the booking agreement. We are waiting to see if that will be removed from our credit card bill.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to all the amenities in Campbell
Cons: Slight discrepancy with charge , i booked double room with booking.com but rang hotel front desk to request twin bedroom instead they stated they would leave charge the same . However when i checked in they had no record of my call and i was charged $70 extra overall , prob just a communication lapse . Otherwise staff excellent

2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Smell. Dirty carpet. Hair in bedding and tub
5.0 Okay
Pros: A quiet night of sleep and bathroom was decently remodeled.
Cons: The room was very worn...peeling wallpaper in spots. Receptionist used really poor language, as in "I'm sorry that you are getting a room with a sh-tty TV, but it's the last room." She also told me she'd checked someone else into that room but moved them when they complained about the TV...and there was still a rumpled towel on the bath counter where they must have washed their hands! Yuck. It was the last room and the whole city was full (Veterans Day and a big game in town) so I had no choice.

4.0 Okay
Cons: My room did not have a hair dryer, NBC sound did not work and I asked the front desk mgr. to check it out and I don't feel like he did. I previously have stayed here and there was always a bottle water in the room. There was no water.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed at the Bristol many times. Location is great for us. But the property is aging.
7.0 Good
Pros: Had a total of 3 pillows for a King bed. All pretty flat. Asked for an additional pillow was told they didn’t have any extra pillows. Hotel that has no extra pillows??
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was very enjoyable. We will be back.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Quaint decor, a welcome change from standard US hotel rooms. Perfect for a work trip to South San Jose. Considerably cheaper (and larger and better room) than many hotels in Los Gatos.
Cons: Walls are thin and jetlagged neighbors can be noisy. But this is a common problem in most US hotels. The street is not too trafficked, so noise from windows is OK.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and well maintained.
Cons: A little light music in the breakfast room would be nice. Eating breakfast in complete silence with 5 other guests was a little strange.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love the boutique hotel, convenience, location, breakfast, beautiful rooms and hotel decor
Cons: bathroom light is on the outside of the bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the bed was very comfortable
Cons: The breakfast could have been better.
7.1 Good
Pros: The Room's were very large, quiet, and comfortable. The parking lot was off the street, and seemed safe with enough spaces. The room was equipped with ironing boards and irons. Free breakfast
Cons: The room had a refrigerator, so I went to the store and purchased some food and drinks only to discover when I returned it was not working. I contacted the front desk at 4:30, and when I hadn't heard about two hours later. All the front desk could do is tell me he issued a work order and could put my food in his refrigerator in the lobby. It was fixed the following day when I was not in the room. --My confirmation included as the amenities, a microwave which was not in the room. --Their website and portfolio of services in the room is outdated: ---The television channel guide made no sense at all. ---The web site and room information included as one of the amenities complimentary wine tasting every Tuesday - Thursday. When I called the front desk, he acted as if he had no idea what I was talking about. --The only interaction I had or saw other than breakfast was the person behind the front desk. The hotel seemed to be absent of any management.

Overview Reviews
Motel 6 San Jose - Campbell is located within walking distance to area dining. Winchester Mystery House 4 miles or Raging Waters 10 miles. Play golf at Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course 12 miles. Free Wi-Fi is available in all of our modern rooms.
7.0 Good
Pros: I was visiting family for the Christmas holiday and had rented a local apartment. We arrived in the area a day earlier than expected, and I needed a room for the night. The rooms in the Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale area were (understandably) very expensive, so I looked for an inexpensive alternative. It was clean, and I felt secure, though a little close to a highway. I was satisfied with the room.
Cons: In my early 20's I always stayed in similar motels, now in my mid-late 50's I usually stay in a little nicer.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was clean and well cared for. Nothing broken or dirty, so I felt very much at ease.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: quiet location - no traffic noise in the room
Cons: i was refused senior discount (I am 79) for some obscure technical reason.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Very noisy with road noise, people slamming doors and young children screaming in the hallway at 6:00am
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice clean room with helpful staff
Cons: Couldn't get the room warm and only a comforter no blankets. Heater blew cold air all night.
4.0 Okay
Cons: It wasn't worth the money they were asking for. I've stayed at 5 star resorts for a quarter of the price and that wasn't what I was expecting, but at least a coffee maker in the room would have been nice.
5.6 Okay
Cons: Smell of pet
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pretty stylish room for a Motel.
Cons: There were a few “shady” characters staying at this location that prompted us to leave early.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff. Room clean
Cons: A ton of road noise and could not get heater to work.

Cons: Smoking area small
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: I have stayed here 4 times as the location is ideal for me & I usually use Marriott brands. However, I am giving up on the place. They have consistently done small things to be in acodaring - no receipt after payment because I used a 3 rd Party booking (Kayak), when booking directly refused to let me charge with the credit card that was used to make the reservation (business card) and so on. This last stay the room Instayed in smelled strongly of cat spray - carpet shampoo service was coming the day I checked out - but the room shouldn’t have been rented - the place was far from full. I mentioned this but was told that because Inised a 3rd Party booking - I got I got cheaper rooms). (Through Kayak the room was about $20/night less). Not a lot of fun going to meetings with clothes that have to be drenched in disinfectant spray. we jace animals and I love cats & dogs - unfortunately I can’t smell like cat spray.

4.0 Okay
Pros: The room was nice and clean and the restaurant had a very decent breakfast /brunch menu. The location of the hotel is great and accessible.
Cons: The Fairmont is under renovation, which makes it extremely difficult to navigates. It hosted a large, loud, and late night event without warning. Neither case was communicated before booking or warned by management at checking. This would have allowed me to book a different hotel. Also, the hotel is not family friendly at all and navigating the hotel is a nightmare due to the construction and the lack of signs and directions. Basic requests made in advance such as baby crib, were ignored. I will not stay at the Fairmont again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfy and staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent bathroom facilities also. Very close to everything including the SAP Center if you are ever in town for an event like I was.
Cons: Personally I didn't like the valet parking I would rather self park but didn't have that option which I wasn't aware of at the time of booking. And construction going on in the hotel too which just happens so nothing really to complain about just pointing out.

Pros: The hotel room itself was pretty spacious. Large room and large bathroom with very pretty vanity.
Cons: Overall the room looked like it needed a good cleaning, there was dust everywhere and the remote was filthy. The fire alarm went off twice and front desk wasn't very nice about explaining what was going on.
1.0 Poor
Cons: I didn’t like the fact that the front desk lied and the price was $40 more than what she said it was going to be when we tried to rent the room again and yes that is before taxes.... and gave me 15 mins to be out when we decided not to stay another
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was comfortable and convenient
1.0 Poor
Pros: The fresh flowers when you first walk in.
Cons: For the amount of money I paid, the room was garbage. The pillows were flat and deflated, there was no microwave, I would have been better paying less and staying at motel 6 because that was the quality I received for Hilton prices.

Cons: Gym very small
9.0 Excellent

Pros: Great location.
Cons: I showed up at 7pm after 14 hours of travel and they said my room wasnt ready. They offered me a free drink and said they would let me know when the room was ready. An hour later, I went to check and they had forgotten to tell me it was ready.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The night front desk clerk (Oscar?) was very friendly and informative. He made us feel welcome.
Cons: I was given a coupon for the free breakfast, which I thought was great because I was low on funds. I walked in with the coupon visibly in my hand and was directed to the self-serve coffee/tea bar. I asked one of the wait staff where to get the rest of the breakfast, and she said, "It's just like a piece of fruit or a bagel." I asked again where I could find it, and she said she'd get it for me. Her demeanor wasn't friendly, and she only gave me those two choices. I chose a bagel, She didn't seem happy about having to get it, but she came back with a bagel and cream cheese on the side.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Found this hotel when I googled romantic hotels in San Jose. It was definitely that and well worth the money we paid.
Cons: Restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch but bar had great menu.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There we’re so many things I liked about the property, where do I start? First they are doing some renovations; but just driving up to the mansion I got the feeling of being taken back in time... it’s warm and welcoming, the staff is great and provide details about the property as well as all renovations and room details. I was surprised as I walked into the room how spacious and clean it was, the bed was very comfortable. The living room area is great and is its own separate room... they provide toiletries and they also have coffee and tea as well. In the main building there is a lounge and bar where you can have drinks and order food. In the mornings they have breakfast available to the guests, but it is charged to the room. All in all I really enjoyed the stay and I will be coming back!
Cons: I didn’t like that we have to pay for the breakfast, it was a bit too much for what was offered. I believe that if they charge for breakfast, there should be more options besides bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausages, and hash browns.
