Cons: Room was small. Very little room to move about. Needs redecorating, walls were heavily marked, scuffed and stained.

Pros: The room was a really good size and nicely decorated. Even though the rooms are part of the pub you cannot hear any noise from the pub while in your room which is great.
Cons: There was some weird sriracha mayonnaise all over my avocado and eggs on toast which ruined it! Take that off and it would have been lovely. Other than that everything was very good.

Pros: I thought the pool and other leisure facilities were great. The staff at the Hotel were most obliging and I really felt comfortable throughout my stay. I was even assisted with technology IT matter by the receptionist, which was indeed very kind of her.

Cons: Didn't get any sleep .noisy from upstairs and they were only walking around. An old building that doesn't seem fit for purpose anymore. Misleading information from staff and a manager who doesn't bother to return your emails . So pretty rubbish.

Cons: Wish they would open one of the other exit doors as depending on what room u have it's quite along walk everytime we need to pop outside or to the car.

Pros: styling i would say was retro 60s with airtex ceilings etc.. perfectly ok but well off trend. unsuitable for the pretentious , but great value for any one who merely sleeps there. Staff very friendly and helpful . Clean. didn't have breakfast but sure it will be fine. Will use again. Clean. GOOD VALUE.
Cons: Outer, door lock could be easier. mini fridge noisy , (contents nothing) so i turned it off. My room was too hot , so turned off heater .Problem solved.

Cons: The dated look and lingering smoke smell in one of the bedrooms. It was clean and obviously for the price you wouldn't expect any more than what you get. We just needed somewhere cheep to stay to visit some family pre Christmas.

Pros: Loved the hotel and the area, will be visiting again.

Cons: No telephone. room safe at floor level and did not work, poor bedside lights for reading in bed. Shower: pleenty of hiot water but nowhere to put soap, flannel etc and no safety rails. Beds very old and creaky.

Pros: The Manager and staff were friendly and tried their best. Room was lovely, comfy and warm. Amenities accessable, good bus service and local gifts shops.
Cons: I was visiting with my 22month old GranSon. Our room was on 3 flights of stairs and there was no lifts. Also I was there for 2 nights and had to pay £15 each night for a Cot to be in my room. This is a first. There was no high chair available for evening meals yet one available at Breakfasts.

Pros: The room was really beautiful - with a view of the cathedral! The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Pros: Loved the location in the centre of the town. Own car park was a bonus as parking was at a premium . Breakfast was great as was the evening meal. Staff very friendly and helpful, feel this property is a work in progress very nice and we really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Friday night street noise was very loud outside the window. Needs to have double glazing at the front of the property. No draft beer, bottled beer was expensive for a small bottle.
