The vehicle itself was nice and clean. However, once I received my e-receipt I saw I was charged for the extra daily coverage that I was not asked about nor did I authorize, raiding my bill and extra $250+. And equally annoying, there is no customer service number to call and get a real person to help. Would love my money back!Reviewed 12 Aug 2024

I tried to get a refund from dollar because our flight was cancelled and never made it to our destination to use rental so I cannot say it was good or bad. Trying to get ahold of the company through email and no reply.Reviewed 12 Jun 2024

I wouldn’t use Dollar again, due to the wait to get the car and the fact they didn’t check the cars condition before giving it out. The Prius got me where I needed to go, despite heavy rain storms.Reviewed 3 Jun 2024

I experienced a mechanical issue during my trip. The car I rented might have had some issue before I picked it up. I was asked to pickup another car in another city at no additional cost when I contacted customer care. I did pick up the new vehicle but they charged me 3x more than what the original rental agreement said. This is despite their assurance I won’t be charged extra for the vehicle swap. Dollar’s customer service is the worst I have seen in a decade. They can’t internally route calls to other departments and has insane wait times. The only redeeming thing is that the store manager at DFW airport helped me adjust the rental price to we originally agreed upon. Probably won’t rent again. This is disappointing because Hertz owns Dollar and I always thought Hertz had good customer service.Reviewed 28 May 2024

When we arrived at the rental counter we were told no cars were available despite our reservation. The Dollar rep told us we should have rented through them and not Kayak. We then tried to cancel the reservation by calling the customer service number on our Kayak reservation but it was an endless blame loop of the Dollar rep saying they hadnt heard from the Kayak rep who had said he had spoken with them on the phone. We eventually got the vehicle 45 minutes later. I was also charged an extra $89 for the rental by Dollar which we will be disputing through Kayak. Disappointing and not organized to say the least.Reviewed 14 Nov 2023

We never got a car because they ran out. We waited in line over an 1 1/2 hours and never even made it to the counter. Awful awful experience. We went with another rental company despite the increased cost so we could actually GET a car.Reviewed 6 Jul 2021
