I booked the car for off the cruise boat and asked for shuttle transport and was advised it was cancelled when I confirmed the booking earlier hertz did nothing to help and left me and my family of 7 in limbo for transportation extremely unsatisfied with the lack of communication and poor customer service!

The people were very busy at pickup. Tried to call to alert late arrival. Negative point was I went to Airport to change drop off because of change of business meeting and they said no. Almost missed flight even though I returned vehicle early . Miami traffic even though I returned vehicle 2 hours early.

Finding the location was quite difficult. Signage was quite poor.

Not waiting an hour in the waiting room for my rental. Service was slow only one person working. Car broke down and it took us three days to get a new one after sitting on hold for 2 hours trying to get it corrected. Will never rent from them again

Pickup location was rundown and dirty. Received a car with less than a quarter tank of gas despite having been told the tank would be full. Options were to fill it ourselves and return at the same level (adding an unanticipated stop to our itinerary) or wait an unspecified amount of time to see if one with more fuel would be returned, as allegedly refueling vehicles between rentals is not a part of their process.

The car was not full of gas when I picked it up. The line was too long to stand in to make the complaint, so I took a video. When dropping off the car it was practically impossible to explain the issue. I showed the videos. Hoping for the best and won’t be charged for refueling charges. Agent was supposed to document.

Picked up a car and after about thirty minutes of driving into a two hour drive the engine was overheating. Had to drop the car off at the nearest location to me because it wasn’t safe to drive the car and there no other cars available. No help or assistance was offered rather than closing out the reservation and figuring it out. Waste of time and money.

I booked my car online you failed to tell me the location I was picking up at was closed due to the pandemic. I had to go across town to another enterprises where I was charged MORE for my rental.

This was the worst rental experience of my life, by far. I reserved a full size car over a week in advance. When I called to confirm (an hour before my pick up time), the clerk indicated they had only small cars and it was a take it or leave it. My trip was delayed 3+ hours.

Cons:

Staff at the valet in the building attached was very rude on the other hand. But the staff at enterprise made up for awful valet guys.

No cars were available even though we booked it and I called twice in advance to make sure we would have a car available. I went down to the pickup location and staff were unhelpful and rude. I found a car at Hertz and did not use this enterprise booking. Unbelievably poor job by all.

The AVIS representative in Miami was extremely rude and condescending...not just to us but to many of the customers that had confirmed rental vehicles, had somewhere to be and had NO cars. He told us if we wanted a pick up truck that it would cost us $500 a day and that was all he had!!!!! NEVER AGAIN AVIS!!!!!!

Rented a mid-size SUV and received a Ford Edge. The car was new, very clean, and in great condition. Excellent pricing. Only issue - waited approximately 40 minutes in line for pickup with only 2 groups ahead of us.

Cons:

The car was not very good, we had to trade it in, getting to the rental place was quite a hassle from the airport and it closed at 4 PM as our flight arrive to 4 PM costing me another day of rental from another company
