Prepaid rental. Delay in pickup as their shuttle was caught in a traffic accident. They charge a fee if you are late but don't tell you, they just charge your card.Reviewed 15 Oct 2024

I had TWO separate bookings, with multiple confirmations. When I got there, the young women at the counter was extremely unhelpful & told me she can’t do nothing for me. Said she couldn’t find any of the reservations. Didn’t even try to offer to book me a new one at the counter, nothing.Reviewed 15 Oct 2024

The most bizarre and worrisome car rental experience. I would never rent here again and no idea how this business model works as I can't imagine anyone wanting to business there. Very unprofessional and they take so many pictures of the car before and after and try to sell you way overpriced insurance. A total scam! Make sure you have collision insurance personally to avoid this scam! Better yet, pay more for a real rental car company!Reviewed 8 Oct 2024

There was garbage in the glove box from a previous renter. I specifically booked an SUV to accommodate people, luggage, and a baby stroller that I'd be picking up from the airport, and was instead given a compact SUV. It wasn't big enough and the rental company told me I could have a Corolla instead, which was not a good joke. They said the compact SUV was a "similar category" as the one I booked, but it was clearly not what I booked or what I needed. Because of the size issue, I ended up picking up only some of the people from the airport, and had to send the rest on the train into town.Reviewed 7 Oct 2024

Economy rent a car, even though off premises, is a short shuttle ride to their facility. Check out is quick and easy, staff is courteous, and they even gave me a free upgrade! Best price in the industry will definitely use again!Reviewed 2 Oct 2024

Representative at car rental place was honest. Everything was exceptionally poor. We had made reservation for SUV 1 month in advance and did online checkin submitting copy of our license and insurance several days back confirming reservation. When we reach the airport and called for shuttle, the rental place said that THERE ARE NO CARS AVAILABLE. We said we have reservation, they said they can’t help, no cars came back to give it to us and we should look at other places. Ultimately they said they have a Honda civic that they can give and that’s their last car. We went to pick that up to the rental place which is far not at airport. It was basic model Honda civic so we asked for refund for rest of the money since we paid for SUV, they said no it’s same price we can take it or leave it. He also said that they overbook cars rentals by 25% and everyone showed up so we ended up with no vehicle. We took the car but unfortunately we could hardly breath in it because it was filled with SMOKE. we had to leave windows open for 3 days to be able to breath. This was the worst car rental experience I ever had. It was way off the beaten path. If I had known how far it was from the airport I probably would not have gone with this company. Then when we got there, they made us sign on to a clipboard and wait outside in the heat. The area seemed kinda seedy and the entire lot was just dirt. They seemed understaffed and so the process took longer than it should have. The car upholstery was all stained white and it seemed like the brakes were getting bad. It was a very small operation so there were only a few spaces to return the rental cars for inspection. I was worried how long the return process would take because they said allow an extra thirty minutes to return time so you can get your flight on time, which made me think there would be a long wait but then it turned out that the inspector was in that area so we didn’t have to wait after all. But just the threat of a delay gave me anxiety. I guess it’s okay if you don’t expect it to be much more than a small mom n pop business and don’t expect to see several employees working in the clearly marked return lanes etc. But the whole experience amped up my travel anxiety to the enth degree. It was probably because I have only had about five rental car experiences and they have all been with larger companies. So my expectations were dashed.Reviewed 25 Sept 2024
